What about the second most sacred building for the Muslims. The dome of the rock... ? What will happen to it?

Luk 9:54-56
54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Following your point- the DOTR will probably be destroyed; because Jesus came to save men's souls from destruction; not to save their buildings from demolition.

I addressed this.
No, you did not.
Jesus has come and gone. He walked in the 2nd temple and conquered the world by not sinning and dieing for our sins.
I agree, but this irrelevant to the actual discussion.
Most prophesies are conditional.
??? Would you care to give at least two examples of what you mean by this?
The 70 week prophesy in Dan 9 finished and Israel did not accept Jesus.
It is not finished, and you will never be able to prove that it is.
In the middle of the 70th week Jesus died and told the disciples to witness to the house of Israel first.
Is it safe to assume that you believe that Jesus is the "he" in this prophecy?

Dan 9:27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Is Jesus the first "he?" The second "he?" The third "he?" All three "he's?" None of the "he's?"

Whatever your assertion may be, please prove it from scripture. After all, you said that this prophecy is finished, so you must believe that you know who these "he's" are referring to.
Their time was up.
Jesus said Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
In case you have not noticed, Israel still exists as a nation, and God is still striving with Israelites/Jews today while trying to bring them to salvation through Christ.
The only time the word "temple" is found in Micah is ..Mic 1:2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
This is an absolute lie.

I have already shown you that the word which is translated as "house" in Micah 4:1-2 is translated as "temple" elsewhere in the Old Testament, and that it is translated as "temple" in Micah chapter 4 in several Bible versions.

I have also already shown you that Jesus referred to the temple in Jerusalem as "my Father's house."

Then, of course, the context itself is clearly speaking of a yet-future literal temple in Jerusalem.

But wait! There's more!

Mic 4:1
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

There are multitudes of verses in the Old Testament where "the house of the LORD" refers specifically to a temple in Jerusalem, and you can see this for yourself here.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/search/search.cfm?Criteria=house+of+the+LORD&t=KJV#s=s_primary_0_1

With this reality before us, God most definitely foretold of a literal, physical temple in Mt. Zion in Jerusalem in the last days, and Christ will ultimately reign over this earth while seated within it. You know, that whole inheriting the throne of his father David thing.

Furthermore, Micah's prophecy is but one of several prophecies which accurately foretell of the same, so stop deluding yourself while promoting lies.
The holy temple is in Heaven above.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Jesus is in the Heavenly temple now as the high priest, advocating our sins.
Yes, there is a temple in heaven, and, yes, Jesus is fulfilling his role as our High Priest there as I type, and? I never suggested otherwise.
It is not a strawman argument.
It is absolutely a straw man argument, and you have continued to make it here. In other words, whereas I am discussing a literal, physical temple in Jerusalem which God has clearly foretold will exist in the last days, you keep on arguing about either the temple in heaven or how Christians are the spiritual temple. I have never denied either of those two realities, but you are the one who is denying the reality that I am actually talking about with your constant straw man arguments.
The facts are plan. Paul wrote in many places that the temple is Spiritual and that there is no distinction between the Jew or gentile today.

We are all one in Jesus.
Those are a part of the facts, and I have never denied them, nor have I ever uttered a word against them.
With so many verses pointing to us being the Spiritual temple and that we are Spiritual Israel by believing in Jesus this leaves the literal argument without foundation.
Only in your delusionary mind. There are plenty of scriptures, in both the Old Testament and New Testament, which provide plenty of foundation for the literal last days temple argument. The only reason why you cannot see them is because you have willfully shut your eyes to the same. That is your problem. A last days temple will come...just as God foretold.

Anyhow, I have three appointments which I need to keep this morning/this afternoon, so I will have to address some of the other nonsensical comments which have recently been made here at a later time.

That prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed the temple and crucified over a million Jews. All the Christians fled Jerusalem when in the middle of the siege the Romans withdrew from around the city. When the Romans came back they exacted their revenge on the inhabitants but the people who believed the prophecy were long gone.

[Luk 21:20-24 KJV] 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

This is what Josephus said about the destruction of Jerusalem:

"What was done here makes the mind shudder. The slaughter was so great that the blood flowed down the streets, and the dead bodies floated about in every direction, making the city a scene of horror and devastation."

Josephus, The Jewish War, Book VI, Chapter 9, Section 3.

"The soldiers also demolished the wall of the inner court of the temple, on which it was written in Hebrew, 'Do not enter,' and a golden eagle was fixed there on the spot where it had been. They then brought out the prisoners, who were about five thousand in number, and killed them all, though they had surrendered, and were under the protection of the law of war, by crucifying them around the temple and the city."

Josephus, The Jewish War, Book VI, Chapter 6, Section 115.

More than one prophecy was fulfilled at that time.
This event marked a significant and tragic moment in Jewish history, leading to the dispersal of the Jewish population and the end of the Jewish state until the modern era. This was the fulfillment of a conditional prophecy:

  1. Deuteronomy 28:64 (KJV): "And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone."
  2. Leviticus 26:33 (KJV): "And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste."
  3. Jeremiah 9:16 (KJV): "I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them."
  4. Ezekiel 12:15 (KJV): "And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries."
Mat 23:37 KJV
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!
Mat 23:38 KJV
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
one thing, I noticed about Josephus is
He knew three armies were coming after him. Did not know what to do. He got told go ahead take the praise and worship band in front of you and praise and worship
He did that, those three armies killed each other in confusion over the praise and worship band in front, praising God
I clearly see it, I hear it the praise and worship sincerely, I would get confused too. Who sends out the praise and worship band in front of?
God does and did, Did not even have to lift a sword, they did it to themselves. Ezekiel 18, Psalm 82
I see that all over the Bible from people causing things against others and losing over and over in doing that. God in God's mysterious ways steps in, having free choice also, try remembering that one. God wins and won by Son for us all to stand in without a flesh fight, whether presently in troubles or not, God won and wins
No one can snatch you out of God's palm no one, Believe God in risen Son for you and become at rest and whistle while you working it all out in your own soul seeing God does just love us all y'all. once I got by God I am reconciled, forgiven and that remains, I saw I need God to lead not me anymore. So I stopped trying to behave under Law, where stress and strife reside and began to trust God to make all sin away, and leave me with an iniquity to not get proud or boastful over anyone else thanks as we all grow up into maturity as Father permits to each of us as in Hebrews 5:12-6:3 to see clearly new thank you Father

I wrote this a while ago. It’s germane to this discussion, mostly about how we fail to see things from a heavenly point of view.

John 14:1-5 is often read a funerals. I believe this practice misses the meaning of the scripture.

John 14:2-6
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The word for "mansions" is monē. It's the same word used in this verse when Jesus explains that the Father and the Son will live with believers:

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

So, the question is: if you are a believer, did you add onto your physical house to make room for the Father and the Son?

No, of course not. We know that Jesus is using figurative language. However, the language bears much weight!

Jesus is factually reporting that the Father and the Son will, by their own volition, abide with those who love them. This hints at the depth of security in the covenant: it is assured not by man's strength (as was the Law) but by the will of the Father and Son. (that's another thread entirely)

Now let's look at "place".

Place is the word topos. The same word is used here, when the Jews appeal to the Pharisees to help with the threat that Jesus was to their nation and religion:

John 11:48
“If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”

If we read "place" as a physical dwelling, we could conclude that the Jews were afraid to be evicted from their homes because of Jesus.

We know that's not what they meant.

They were afraid to lose their positions of influence and their places of power.

Let's look at one final area.

Jesus said "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself". Is there anywhere in scripture where this is so? If He's not talking about receiving you in heaven when you die but, rather, about receiving you to Himself on this side of life, we should be able to find that in the scriptures, right?

Of course we can.

Jesus, the man, was only one man. The laws of physics prevented another man from being in the same place as was Jesus. But, when He died (and this is what He was alluding to) He did not rise up as Jesus, another man. He rose up as the Christ. When we plant a seed we do not harvest only a seed. No. An entire plant full of seeds grows from the one that is planted.

So what is the corollary between Jesus dying, being resurrected, and being able to receive all unto Himself?

The many-membered Christ! Christ is the spiritual man in which all men, who are redeemed, are fit and knitted together.

Paul explains this mystery...

1 Corinthians 12:12
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Ephesians 5:30
For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

Paul also used the same word for "receive" (paralambanō ) in Colossians 2:6-10

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Notice how man "in Hims" are used in that small section. This is the reality of being received unto Christ: our place is indeed "in Him".

We are the structure, engineered by the Holy Spirit, through which the corporate Christ is seen in the earth.

Furthermore, in Christ, we are not another; we are not a foreign body. We are actually His flesh and blood. That is why He can share His glory with us:

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Let's look at the first set of verses again.

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Jesus is explaining how He will administrate next part of the New Covenant.

This is a paraphrase using the points from above:

My Father's family is vast! I tell you these things because I tell you my Father's business. By my passing and resurrection you may be included in the house of My Father; Our Father. I will arise as the Christ and include you in myself. When I walked the earth My Father secured a place for Me. He was always with Me. When I return and receive you to Myself, you will walk the earth with the same grace I was given. I will always be with you. Do not be troubled in your heart.

"I will never leave you or forsake you." -Christ Jesus

Yes, Jesus went back to Heaven to build mansions for us and Revelation describes the Heavenly Jerusalem which contains the throne of God.

Joh 14:2-3
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
So this means Jesus is building the new physical Temple in Jerusalem? I am not understanding what it is your suggesting here. I was talking about how another Mosaic Age Temple of God built in Jerusalem makes no logical sense because the temple always pointed to Jesus coming, so to build it again is really a slap in the face to all Jesus completed work. Plus God has not commanded us to build a temple anywhere I know of, and suggesting that He still can command it in the future, and that scripture isn't closed, opens a whole can of worms as far as false prophets go. If He is still doing this then Joseph Smith, Mohammed, and Shirley MacLaine may have more of a point than we thought and would have to reexamine a lot.

Besides that please show me anywhere in scripture it says any of this. It's bringing dump truck loads to the scripture that just not there in truth. That the way He's open my eyes to it anyway, but I know there's a LOT of people who disagree. I call this the "3rd Temple Dilemma", and I haven't really heard a case made against it other that "God does what He wants".

We, once knew Jesus in flesh, today no more
What we see physically is only temporal, what we do not see is forever. like the air we each breath, without thinking about it daily
This is now Spirit Life, not physical life, all flesh dies, all flesh is now condemned on that cross of Son. for us all to live new now
Romans 8:1-3 condemned all sin to the flesh first birth of each human. God saves the Soul, not the flesh, that is what Son came here to earth to do and did it (John 19:30)
2 Cor 5:16 once knew, now, no more in the flesh in Spirit and Truth John 4:23-24
The war is not to fight one another over things in the physical sights of each of us, that does not stop as we see wars and rumors of wars continuing on. Only being fed milk not Spiritual meat, at least not seeing it yet yet will
Hebrews 5:12- 6:3

Who believes the Temple of God will be rebuilt in Jerusalem during the Tribulation?
Several Bible verses suggest that a temple will be rebuilt in the end times, corresponding to Jesus' second coming. In Ezekiel 40-48, a detailed vision of a future temple is described.

Daniel 9:27 mentions, "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering." This verse implies the existence of a temple where sacrifices are taking place during the end times.

In Matthew 24:15, Jesus himself refers to a future temple, saying, "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand)." This statement suggests the presence of a holy place, likely a temple, during the end times.

These verses, and others not quoted here, taken together, suggest that a temple will indeed be rebuilt in Jerusalem during the end times, playing a significant role in the events surrounding Jesus' second coming.

Who believes the Temple of God will be rebuilt in Jerusalem during the Tribulation?
A temple , maybe,
But of God, no.
He had the last destroyed in 70AD because the Jews continued to offer sacrifices that rejected Jesus as the Messiah.

I'll go with highly unlikely. :)

I am hoping people will wake up and want to avoid more bloodshed.
I am never surprised by what those who reject Jesus will do believing they are pleasing God.
Much blood has been spilled by such people over the years.
And even more will be before Jesus returns.

Yeah its one of those things you can see yet not. Were talking about a people that rejected Yeshua and have not had a temple for awhile and do in fact have what is needed to make it. Well they? Not sure if I will be here to witness it.

No I didn't say Jesus is building a temple in Heaven... the temple is in Heaven.

Heb 8:1-2
1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

God made the true tabernacle.
And asked Moses to copy it on Earth ... a shadow.
Heb 8:5-6
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

The better covenant involves Jesus ministering in the heavenly sanctuary.

Heb 9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Then the sanctuary is described in more detail... verse 2-8

Heb 9:9-11
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Notice that the Earthly was not able to save.
But Christ is and only from the perfect tabernacle in heaven. Not made with human hands.

NOT THE EARTHLY TEMPLE.

That would be going backwards.

Heb 9:23-24
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

The Earth was just a type, shadow, patern, example, to help them understand the plan of redemption.

It all finished at the cross.

When Jesus said it is finished ...
Mat 27:50-51
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

This had a meaning, the Earthly was finished and made void.

So back to the point... it would be a slap in the face to go back to the Mosaic temple here on earth. Or offer sacrifices etc.
But Jesus now in the heavenly Temple.

Take a peek here and see a picture, the write up is self-explanatory :
https://www.biblelightinfo.com/pope-throne.htm
Well put. Agreed.

If anyone hasn't already looked...Please look at the quote above... look at the way the man of sin has set himself as god on earth.

It is so sad that the protestant world has forgotten it's roots.

Almost every faithful reformer declared that the papal system/pope was the antichrist.
The pope was the man of sin.

And if you study history you can see that the invention of the literal Jewish temple was created by catholic deception and devising to change how the world looks at them.

To cause the world to look to Israel for a future antichrist, so that the attention was taken off them..

There are good documents written about this... how the seed was sown and the churches accepted it.. so sad.

Ask Google and study the topic yourself....

Type.... Why did Jesuits invent futurism?

Search for truth and you will find it.

Probably in that time period it looked plausible, but isn't there are school of thought in futurism that asserts the pope is the antichrist?

None of the specific WARS have been played out yet from Psalms 83, Ezekiel 37-39, Armageddon. Why would anyone believe real Peace is going to happen? If those WARS don't happen then the Holy Spirit of God Inspired lies.

There's clearly going to be those specific WARS played out and 2 of them includes the physical temple.

Is the MAN of SIN able to stand inside the human body and proclaim he is Almighty God to the entire world? Or will that probability happen with a physical temple?

Some of these questions seem rather obvious. Kind of strange to have so many views on this. The MAN of SIN has not at any time ever stood in the physical temple and proclaimed to the entire world he is God. That event seems like it will be on television, radio, Internet, mobile devices because in the 1st Century it was impossible to make a proclamation to the entire world.

It amazes for all of the words and meanings in the Bible we clearly understand what Prophecy is. But somehow, common sense words and meanings in the Bible seem to be strangleholds to people. The more obvious it is the more many struggle to understand. It's quite baffling actually.

Much of the futurist belief rests on the assumption that God has never given Israel all the land promised through Abraham and that the complete fulfillment of this promise is still in the future.

If futurism is a corrupt theory invented by a Jesuit then why follow the teachings of futurism.

You are missing the point... the temple is the members... made up of God's people from all nations.

Can the man of sin stand in the temple of believers? Easy, like Judas stood with Jesus. The antichrist and Judas have one thing in common, Perdition is the chief characteristic of Judas and AntiChrist.
John 17:12 Judas is called the son of perdition.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Can you see how the man of sin can easily stand in the Spiritual temple among God's people.

Don't get distracted....

If you are the devil where would you want people to be focused?

1. The literal temple, focusing on a building in a literal place. Watching TV to see if the abomination is happening and thinking this is what it is all about.

2. The Spiritual temple, your own heart.
Focusing on your heart and watching to make sure the abominations of idolatry and any sin are not separating you from God.

Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Can the man of sin stand in the temple of believers? Easy, like Judas stood with Jesus. The antichrist and Judas have one thing in common, Perdition is the chief characteristic of Judas and AntiChrist.
John 17:12 Judas is called the son of perdition.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Can you see how the man of sin can easily stand in the Spiritual temple among God's people.

Don't get distracted....
The act of standing in the temple proclaiming to be God is for the Jews. So it's a must to have a physical temple.

Not sure how you can read the MAN of SIN offers a false sacrifice and relate that to all believers when it would only matter to the Jews?
