17 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. 12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

Jesus Christ fulfilled the promises and covenant made to Abraham, the Church is the Israel of God, children of the promised seed, it's that simple :)

The promises made to Abraham have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ :)

Jesus Christ is the promised seed, and his children are the Church

Galatians 3:16-29KJV
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

(Two Israel's Are Seen Below)

(1) Israel The Church, Children Of The Promised Seed

(2) National Ethnic Israel

The Church is the Israel of God, children of the promised seed :)

They which are the children of the flesh (Jews) these are not the children of God

Romans 9:6-8KJV
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all (1)Israel, which are of (2)Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

“Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations (Genesis 17:4)

as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. (Romans 4:17)

Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. (Galatians 3:16).

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” (Galatians 3:8)

YAHWEH (JESUS) APPEARED TO ABRAM: HE IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD
17 1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. [Note: the KJV has LORD (small caps) for YHWH. Christ appeared to him as "the Word of the LORD" in Gen 15]

PART I: ABRAHAM'S DESCENDANTS TO BE A VERY LARGE NUMBER
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

PART II: ABRAHAM TO BE A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

PART III. KINGS TO DESCEND FROM ABRAHAM (INCLUDING CHRIST)
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

PART IV: GOD TO BE THE GOD OF ISRAEL FOR ETERNITY
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

PART V: THE LAND OF CANAAN TO BE ISRAEL'S EVERLASTING POSSESSION
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

PART VI: CIRCUMCISION TO BE A SIGN OF GOD'S ETERNAL COVENANT TO ISRAEL
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

This passage totally demolishes Replacement Theology. But it does not give a free pass to Jews either. All must have the faith of Abraham and recognize Jesus as Almighty God. Israel (in general) failed to do so, and Jews are still paying the price for that failure.

There are actually FOUR "SEEDS" of Abraham in this covenant:

1. The twelve tribes of Israel
2. The Ishmaelities and many other nations in the Middle East
3. Christ Himself
4. All believers who are justified by grace through faith in Christ,

Thank you Phil.

'even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were'.

These words are a confirmation of Romans 11:15 (life from the dead) and Romans 9:6 wherein 2 seemingly contradictory Israels can exist simultaneously

The dead or unproductive branches are pruned off trees to make them more fruitful. The unproductive skin was to be circumcised from Abraham's males, with the promise that Abraham and his descendants would be fruitful. The stoniness/foreskin/sin-nature of the hearts of all Christians - male and female - must be removed for us to be right with God. Painful, but bringing life and benefit.

Yes, the 'be thou perfect' is very important.
Christ knew we could not be perfect when He told us to be perfect, but we are to try our very best to be perfect. Paul explained that, Paul said he didn't understand because he wanted to be perfect (another way of saying repent) but did what he did not want to do. We are to have a will for perfection through Christ.

The only thing we need to be concerned about relative to the covenant that
Moses' people agreed upon with God per Mt Sinai is that it isn't retroactive.
(Deut 5:2-4 and Gal 3:17)

So then, seeing as how the Jews obtained title to their land via Abraham
rather than Moses, then their failures to live up to the terms of the old
covenant cannot cause them lose title to the land. They have on several
occasions lost control of their land, but they will never lose their entitlement
to it because it's deeded to them forever via an unconditional promise that
God made to Abraham per the thirteenth and fifteenth chapters of Genesis.

Christ fulfilled this covenant. It was promised that Abraham would be the source of salvation for everyone, and Christ came from seed of Abraham. It was promised that God would show the gentiles Himself through working with the Hebrews, and that was fulfilled. It was promised that from this seed so many millions would be saved they could not count them, and that is fulfilled. Just think of how many are alive in Christ from the time of Abraham!

Scripture tells us in Romans 2:28-29-------
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Jesus Christ fulfilled the covenant made to Abraham, he is the promised seed singular, and his Church are the Children of this promised seed Galatians 3:16-29

The Kingdom of God has been taken from Israel, and given to the Church bringing forth the fruits

Matthew 21:43KJV
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

The Kingdom of God has been taken from Israel,
The Jews will never lose possession of the geographical land of Israel.

Gen 13:14-15 . . And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had parted from
him: Raise your eyes and look out from where you are, to the north and
south, to the east and west, for I give all the land that you see to you and
your offspring forever.

and given to the Church
Christ's followers don't supplant the Jews, rather; they join the Jews. (Eph 2:11-19)

I’m beginning to understand that the old written law was completely fulfilled by Jesus Christ and in Christ, we, as believers have been given the total fulfillment of the written law......however, now there is a “spiritual law” written on our hearts....and we can know it and obey it ONLY by the power and understanding that the Holy Spirit gives us as believers IN CHRIST. Amen.

We debate so much about the written law but, it’s the spiritual laws that we should be talking about and encouraging each other in.

There is a difference between ethnic Jews and spiritual Jews. The Lord uses the ethnic Jews to illustrate spiritual truths, we need to listen to the Lord through the Holy Spirit, asking the Lord to help us understand what God tells us through the Hebrew race and His dealings with them.

During the end times......so many are looking for a 3rd Temple to be built in Jerusalem but, not me.

I’m looking for a WALL to be built around the Holy City of Jerusalem like in the book of Nehemiah, the city was in ruin.

At the very end God turns back to the Jews only.....because it’s time to build the Wall.

The New Jerusalem is made up of Jews, Gentiles, all nations, etc......BUT, the Wall is ONLY the 12 Tribes of Israel.....which is why God’s turns His complete and only focus on Israel at the very end, amen.
