WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR BODY???
Jesus has redeemed us...why isn't that enough?
REJOICE!

Job’s Confession and Repentance
1Then Job answered the Lord and said:
2 “I know that you can do all things,
and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3 ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4 ‘Hear, and I will speak;
I will question you, and you make it known to me.’
5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;
6 therefore I despise myself,
and repenta in dust and ashes.”

John 6:35
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

John 6:37
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
Thank you for your encouragement zone.

May Jesus bless you.

I can feel the war over my soul. It is this flesh which is contrary to my spirit. I can feel the tug. It is my spirit that is in anguish. Because my spirit desires to worship God in a pure way, but my flesh is defiled. My flesh cannot know God the way my spirit hopes to worship him. This is the true worship.

This flesh cannot stand in the presence of the Lord, even if it could, not for long. This flesh has to be put off entirely. Because the spirit is pure, but the flesh is not pure. I have always longed to worship God truly. I did not know what it was called before, but I wanted to worship God the way David tried to worship. His clothes were a hindrance to his spirit. Even his body was a hindrance. If anything, he would have danced his spirit right out of his flesh, until it was purely his spirit rejoicing in the Holy Spirit.

There is a worship deep inside of me, that if it were to come out, no man, nor the flesh could contain it.

May Jesus bless you.
I dont quite understand our soul to the spirit is like our body to our eyes or ears. You dont
feel the spirit without your soul anymore than your eyes can be of use to you without the body
to relay sight. David talked to his soul when it was in anguish, often giving it orders. Leading
himself out of despair. Its the souls health and disposition your dealing with, not your flesh, or spirit.

Job's friends were no help to him, because, seeing his anguish they presented that it was his sin that caused his anguish. The Lord is my judge. He knows me. He knows the anguish of my spirit. He will deliver me.

Yet, in my anguish he is my only comfort. Zone, you can give me a thousand words, but the Lord will give me the truth. I desire it from him. Only he can answer what I feel. Only he is wise enough to know it.

May Jesus bless you.
i didn't give you 1,000 words.
i posted those words from JOB....the Book you quoted from to express the anguish of your soul.
perhaps the anguish comes from all the previous prophecies of doom and accusations of sin against Christ's Church?

Ramon.
Jesus was delivered up to death in your place.
He lived a perfectly righteous life under the Law.
He came all the way from GLORY to do this.
He suffered and died and rose, tasting death for every man and defeating it.

He loves you.
He WILL keep you.
He makes intercession for your anguish, and your troubles, though you do not know what they are.
He does all this so you MAY REST IN HIM.

we tried to tell you, and others, that WORKING, DOING DOING, wanting to change the world doesn't work.
that's not what pleases God.

believing on the Finished Work of Jesus is what pleases God.

The work He has begun in you HE WILL FINISH IT!

this is why some of us are DESPERATE to keep alive the GOSPEL.
SALVATION IS OF THE LORD.

don't be like Job's friends. don't listen to the prophets and the self-proclaimed apostles.
just find a good pastor.

Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone
Solus Christus - Christ Alone
Sola Gratia - Grace Alone
Sola Fide - Faith Alone
Soli Deo Gloria - The Glory of God Alone

Unwarranted confidence in human ability is a product of fallen human nature ... God's grace in Christ is not merely necessary but is the sole efficient cause of salvation. We confess that human beings are born spiritually dead and are incapable even of cooperating with regenerating grace. We reaffirm that in salvation we are rescued from God's wrath by his grace alone. It is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that brings us to Christ by releasing us from our bondage to sin and raising us from spiritual death to spiritual life. We deny that salvation is in any sense a human work. Human methods, techniques or strategies by themselves cannot accomplish this transformation. Faith is not produced by our unregenerated human nature. - Cambridge Declaration

i love you Ramon:)
stop working. don't run ahead.
have faith. abide.
then you will walk in the ways He has already ordained for you.

your sin is thrown away. left in the grave. its over.
the conflict with sin is our lot for now, but we are going to a better place.
contact Red33. he will minister Grace to you from The Bible, from the Lord's words, and the doctrines of the Apostles. then you'll know how Jesus has done all this for you already.
you just have the joy of walking in it now.

are you alright Ramon?

Remember you are not alone. God is always with you and you must run the race God created you to run. Your life on earth is not Spirit alone but also body and soul and it is your duty to God to take care of the WHOLE you that God has given you. Have you slept and eaten recently? You need to take care of God's temple..

Love you bro.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s.

*yawn*...not interested in your cult.
perfectionists always end up in cults.
in Jesus' day they were the Pharisees.

today there's calling themselves Apostles, Prophets, The New Breed, Manifest Sons of God, Dominionists.....

New Apostolic Reformation fanatics.....all perfectionist crackpots.

The BRAVE NEW BREED: Creatures in Pursuit of Autonomous Perfection

This Herescope series on the "New Breed" would not be complete without an examination of the rising science of biotechnology known as "transhumanism." This high-tech, bio-tech concept is working to create a physical "new breed" of man. There is a mystical component to it that comes from Hermeticism and Theosophy. This represents the ultimate mixture of science and religion.

There is every reason to believe that this new utopian science will have particular appeal to New Apostolic Reformation leaders who already teach and believe these mystical doctrines. There is every reason to fear that the Church today, which is rushing to contextualize itself within every perverse culture, will not stand against this rising tide.

And these modern postmillennialists lent to reform thought much of its optimism, its perfectionism, and its faith in the ability of brotherhood, united to the modern scientific spirit, to conquer all the evils of the world.”[20] Yet attempts to establish the perfect society is not only a futile attempt, but also contrary to God's eschatological plan, as revealed in Scripture.

To a certain extent, the Church has compromised on the issue of transhumanism. Most notably, a large number of Charismatics and Pentecostals have already adopted similar views and many more are being drawn to it. Mike Oppenheimer writes, “It is the new trend to think of the Church in a powerful way and this is not going away.”[21] In fact, he continues, this “is fast becoming the norm for a Church already operating under a new (fresh) anointing.”[22] Some of those Christians who do not fully embrace Transhumanism accept many of its philosophies and are drawn by its motivations, particularly by the possibility of a kingdom of God in this world. They are being drawn to the Latter Rain movement, or the belief that Christians are Christ’s “on-going incarnation in the world” who will bring forth a Kingdom of God on earth.[23] According to supporters of this movement, Christians will usher humanity into a new stage of its existence. Through individual Christians’ labor, death will slowly be conquered until it is no more. Then, immortality will be achieved and Christ will return. According to Mike Oppenheimer, “the new focus is on an earthly inheritance for the church.”[24]

Proponents of similar movements are called Dominionists (a distinct group of postmillennialists[25]). These people believe that Christians will continue to better the world until it is a kingdom of God on earth, as a result of human effort. Only at this time, they believe, will the Second Coming occur....

no point highlighting or bolding the juicy parts. you won't read it anyhow.
spoiler alert: the whole thing stinks.

The problem with you is much more than you are just ignorant of the truth. you are willfully and purposely ignorant of the truth.

The Pharisees that they could keep the law in their flesh. The true N.T. church knows that only Christ can perfect them.

Tell us Linda, when a believer dies what happens to their spirit, to their soul and to their body specifically, and give the scriptures. Do it tonite, because you made the statement is was baby teaching so you should have no problem doing this. If you are really skillful in the words of righteousness tell us what these tree parts are that make up man and how we preserve them according to (1Thes 5:23), unless of course you think this is witchcraft of some kind.

I think I understand some of the things you are saying Ramon. Some things I can't really explain. There is truth and then there is everything the world presents as truth and they are not always the same, in fact rarely do they collide. The truth has come in the flesh. His Spirit has come to help us. We are given wisdom and knowledge by His mercy and Love. But, unfortunately, I cannot always hear His voice. I'm not always spiritual, that doesn't seem to be my natural instinct and it makes me ashamed in front of the Lord. But I love Him and I know He loves me and so I try so hard to put off the flesh and be pleasing to Him. But for all my trying it is like a 3rd grader trying to reproduce Michealangelo's cathedral only using crayons and his left hand. But I still try and will always continue to try.

God Bless You

Although this has nothing to do with the thread. I wonder if you don't already know this, or if you are just trying to pick at someone.

But as we all can see, the flesh returns to dust. The Spirit returns to God, and the soul goes to either heaven or hell. The soul is who we are. The spirit is the life of the entire body. When the Spirit leaves, the life leaves. We have seen people who were called brain dead. As far as living, they were dead to us, but as long as the spirit is there, the body is alive.

Anyhow. May Jesus bless you.

This is awesome to consider on a personal level Ramon. I came to understand that there is a part of me that stands in the way of a perfect fellowship with our Lord. I have heard it said, and I prayed also; "Heavenly Father, remove that part of me that refuses to worship You."

I came to realize later, that part of us that gets in the way is evidence we need Him. I once wrote concerning the (spirit) eternal child of God within; "The things I say, and the things I do, I do also to the child of God within" How could I help another if I'm unwilling to care for the one thing precious to God?

As you wrote here, I long, as a child longs for his or her father...

Thank you for your answer but that question was for Linda. Next time try and be a little more discerning.
