Concerning the content of debate on these Bible forums;
when in doubt, always look to the accusers.
They are always wrong.
- (See Solomon judging between two mothers: the one who would kill the child and the other who would give it away to save it's life.)

Rick, your post sounds like a veiled accusation of judgment. Kerry, are you accusing Rick of being hyper? Or am I just accusing you both of being accusers?

You would have been safe posting this in the miscellaneous forum, as your statement only applies to the Bible form.

Ken, what is veiled about judgement?
Do not all judge?
Accusation is different.
Accusation stands replete with examples of 'inordinate' behavior.
Accusation relies on 'effect'; (or appearance).
Judgement stands on cause.
- (No, I post this in the Bible Forum for good reason)

that's a tricky play on words you have Rick.

How can someone tell the difference between accusation and judgment?

what is considered "inordinate" behavior?

how do you know that a statement is for "effect" and not just an observation or judgement call?

How does judgement stand on cause?

what does that even mean?

I have seen debates turn into arguments when one or the other party gets too emotionally invested in their own position. They allow their flesh to speak instead of allowing God's truth to defend itself. Often times there will be name calling and insults. However, that does not mean their position is wrong. It means they are not very good at debating and are too immature to teach others God's truth because they haven't spent enough time with His Holy Spirit to learn patience and loving kindness. They need to spend more time listening and less time speaking.

Just because some positions have members who are immature does not mean you should disregard the entire line of thinking without being like a Berean and praying and examining scriptures for yourself.

This is another example of judgement based on emotion. (His)
That he would think I wasn't calculated in my statement.
Please reread it Kerry.

Accusation and judgement are entirely different Ariel.
One prosecutes, another surmises.
One uses appearances, the other scripture.
No play on words at all.
I would think a 'Berean' would point this fact out.

All according to whom you are judging. We should not judge others...

Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

We should judge only ourselves and our own actions...

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

If we are judging ourselves and correcting our own actions, we will not have time to judge others.

You know, every once in a while, God let's me see myself pretty well. The horror and revulsion is hard to get over, it makes me want to change.

Rick I have been watching these forums for a while and there will be a couple people (or more) on both sides of an issue who will act immature and out of emotion call the other "demonic" "spawn of satan" "wolf in sheep's clothing" "hater of Jews" "hater of God's law", "Pharisee", "white washed tombs" etc.

they will claim they do it out of discernment and sound judgement.

Would you agree or disagree with them?

If they do these things should everything they say automatically be labeled as false?

Pharisees taught from the Bible and the Bible is not false. It is their use of the Bible that made it so wrong.

Therefore no matter a person emotional defense of their position (be it righteous and in accordance with God's word for teachers or the immature attempts of a new Christian) one should examine what they believe and WHY. One should pray to God to see if is really any basis in the Bible. One should examine one's OWN heart to see if the misunderstand is within and not without.

A Bible forum tell for a hypocrite is one who thinks they are ALWAYS right and never can admit when they are wrong, or say they are sorry or say thank you to someone who helps them better understand what God meant about a certain Bible passage.

Ariel, this has nothing to do with judging words.
I see people post videos and say- "See those unruly evil people!" - "How could that be of God?"
And then post another.
This is unrighteous judgment.
Because they don't know the heart of the matter.
None of us knows the debts of anybodies soul, much less our own.
So how is is some judge by outward appearance?
Has nothing to do with judging arguments.
Has everything to do with judging appearances.
- Gee.....I wonder how deep the human soul is?
- - - I wonder what it might look like if it was being changed from the inside out. - (The only way God does it)

You say - "A Bible Forum tell for a hypocrite is that he/she thinks they are always right"?
- - So Jesus would be a hypocrite then, since He was the truth made manifest.

If someone comes unto this forum and claims to BE Jesus, at best he would be delusional.

You truly think someone who claims to be Always right IN THIS FORUM is telling the truth?

When even Jesus said this?

Mark 10:18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

it doesn't? my apologies then because I thought that was what your post was about.

how do you know its unrighteous? I can't comment on videos, I don't watch them or enter threads with them as the only thing posted. I'd rather talk to the person than listen to a video they like.

Because they don't know the heart of the matter.
None of us knows the debts of anybodies soul, much less our own.

ok so you were trying to remind people of these verses?

1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.

I'm alright with that.

I would add verses AGAINST gossip too. I find that very unscriptural.

see above reply....

or in other words: Jesus was always right and good because HE was God. we are not and anyone claiming to be always right and good is claiming to be equal to God and they are liars.

is this a case of "that woman YOU gave me made me do it"?
