This New covenant ( agreement) is sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ, God's own Son. < there will never be a greater, more honorable, more binding, transaction of Sacrifice and Love than this.

Matthew 26:28 "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

Jesus' crucifixion was actually a willful undertaking whereby his bloodshed became a sin offering for the forgiveness of sins.

Blood like water is used in parables to represent the unseen Holy Spirit (the power of God) .To pour out blood is to pour out the unseen spirit life in jeopardy of ones own . The spirit life of the flesh is in the blood but spirit life is not blood seen.

There is a beautiful parable set aside to help us walk by faith the unseen will of the father.

In the parable God uses three to denote the end of the maner . Mighty men of faith called the renown (giants of faith to help converts water or blood to spirit life having it in jeapordy of their own life Just as the Son of man Jesus in jeapordy of his own spirit the gospel.

David who was imprisoned like John the Baptist thirsted for the gospel wondering if he had the right understanding. God moving mankind according to His good will answered his prayer .

The well of Bethlehem the living water spoken of .

The parable reads...

1 Chronicles 11:16-19 And David was then in the hold, and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate! And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the Lord. And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I "drink the blood of these men" that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.

For with the jeopardy of their lives (the father and the Son working as on ) they brought salvation. Therefore we can drink it.

Leviticus 17:11, 14 (cp. Deuteronomy 12:23) “For the life of the flesh
is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an
atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement
for the soul…. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life
thereof …”

Hebrews 9:22 “Without the shedding of blood, there is
no remission of sins.”

1 John 1:7″… the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin.”

Exodus 12:13 “… and when I see the blood, I will pass over
you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.”

Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony …”

Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience …

Hebrews 10:19, 22 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter
into the holiest by the blood of Jesus … Let us draw near with a true
heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an
evil conscience …”

Hebrews 13:12 “Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify
the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.”

Romans 3:24-25 “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”

Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

The mystery of the blood is it represents the unseen things the Holy Spirit .Water is used in the same way.

In Leviticus we are told that the blood that gives us salvation was poured out by God on the altar and that there was no atonement (as was salvation before) without the blood. Lev. 28:11.

We know that blood is only the blood of Christ, and it was used symbolically for atonement for 4,000 years. Some people say the salvation system was based on giving literal blood of animals, but scripture tells us God hated the blood of animals and that animal blood never, ever, gave atonement. The sacrificial system required giving up sin for atonement as the blood o Christ requires.

Atonement gave preserving souls in what was pictured as sleep rather than the life that Christ gives. When Christ died on the cross and the curtain was split these souls were able to walk the streets of Jerusalem as we are told in Matthews 27:52-53.

Gen 2:25 (NKJV) And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Gen 3:19-22 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust, you shall return."
And Adam called his wife's name Eve because she was the mother of all living.
Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil.
This is the first bloodshed of animal skins to clothed Adam and Eve for their sins

Gen 17:9-14 And God said to Abraham: "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised, and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.
He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant.
He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant."
This is the first bloodshed covenant with Abraham circumcised the flesh

1 Chron 21:26-28 And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the Lord; and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering.
So the Lord commanded the angel, and he returned his sword to its sheath.
At that time, when David saw that the Lord had answered him on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he sacrificed there.
The burnt offerings of Blood on the altar with David and God at the altar

Ex 12:7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.
This is bloodshed covenant with the firstborn

Gen 8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
Ex 2:24-25 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.
God remembered his covenant
