how does that impact those scriptures that are showing the vast difference in Jesus and angels ?

“hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire.

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the works of thine hands:

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:2-8, 10, 13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I don’t see how arguing angel could
Mean messenger impacts any of what it’s saying about angels and the son of God who became a man not an angel Jesus is the lord made flesh he’s never been an angel he became a man

“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels;

but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But brother I don’t dispute that angels are heavenly messengers that’s really clear in the Bible and that’s what I’m saying about the law the word is coming from this ordination as soon as they worshipped the calf everything changed that’s what Stephen is explaining in acts chapter 7 of course people don’t want to read it because it’s “ wordy “ they say it’s also relevant and clear

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

now to be clear here brother and relevant to what your saying is the next sentence

“But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak;

then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Understand I’m not saying that the law isn’t of God ….I’m saying this happened as Moses was in the cloud receiving the commandments ….

“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; ( angels ) as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices By the space of forty years in the wilderness? ( he’s asking the question have you been worshipping me all this time ?)

( then he answers) Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Figures which ye made to worship them: And I will carry you away beyond Babylon….

( so what I’m gettin at is when you read the words of Moses in the law you are getting that disposition Hod warned then about )

who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:41-43, 53‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so…this

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”

(He says he will not pardon your transgressions my authority is in him )

now look at the law look at what the dispostion is upon e writhing in it

“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭15:32, 35-36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you. And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20:10, 12-14, 20-

Brother Jesus wasn’t an Angel the Bible clearly tells us he created angels and men and heaven and earth he’s the lord manifest in the flesh is all I’m saying the angels were given rule over Israel when they broke the commandment the very first thing he commanded them they broke as he was writing the commandments then as stephens says there

Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven;

The whole law came from God it’s a different ordination for a different purpose and people it isn’t Christianity it’s prophetic pertaining to Christianity though a witness of it

the gospel is where our faith is that’s all I’m saying remeber brother a third of the angels followed satans rebellion ……and will inherit eternal damnation with him also with people who follow him as well even Satan is a messenger the messenger of our covenant was Jesus our lord and God

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There’s a different ordination over the law of Moses and he’s the mediator Moses .

The Gospel is God the Father presenting his word in the Son and promising believers his holy spirit will come to live within and be with them

The ot is this

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s why you see all the references to contrast the old and new

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; ( the ot law )

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, ( the gospel of the kingdom ) and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? ( acts of the apostles )

For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:1-5‬

The law wasn’t meant to save souls ….it’s meant to condemn sinners and make them were they need a savior need salvation
Jepethiel would point out here that angel does not necessarily mean celestial spirit messenger. That is but one meaning. In the NT (and certainly here in NT Australia) Thayer's English-Greek Lexicon of New Testament words defines the Gk. Word angelos/oi as
1. Angel from heaven
2. Messenger
3. Ambassador, envoy, sent representative (i.e. like an apostle).
The idea comes from ancient Semitic languages that had similar distinctions.

And I want to point out one more thing, in Ex. 19:8 the CHILDREN of ISRA'EL proudly boast that they could keep (by their own - independent of God - abilities the commandments of God. The LAW is the result. A set of RULES for people who are disobedient, and arrogantly dismissive of God!

Both sides of this argument are being conducted by people who are NOT ABLE to see things as Jesus sees them, in the 'body of flesh' and so are operating out of imperfect understandings of scripture.

BE WARNED - Oh people.
'God is not mocked. That which you sow you shall also reap!'
The quality of YOUR eternal life is dependant on the effort you put into YOUR relationship with Jesus!

And this IS A REBUKE BY Jesus' command!

Jepethiel.

I would not exclude service in other ways, nor limit the scope to a local church.

I have been a HIDDEN PROPHET since July 1996, and by definition, not able to be a member of a local church, by the Lord's personal command.

And since I am also commissioned to Lead Jesus people home , I must keep myself from any affiliation so as to remain totally neutral before all.
Yours Jepethiel.
Service to God in the New Testament is through His churches. No other institution in the bible has it. There were missionaries of course.. but they were sent out by churches.. to plant churches. Jesus built His church and that is the pillar and ground of the truth.

But anyway.. I pray God does bless your journey.

Dear @Pilgrimshope I do understand your objections, and imagine they are very much the same
as those who object to God becoming a human being, which some angels have also done. I also
understand that you do accept Jesus was God incarnate, and that the Bible makes this plain, even
as some do not see it and fail to accept it. However, I do hope you reconsider and take a closer
look at some of the instances that have been given. It is similar to people saying nobody can
see God and live... the Bible does say that, and yet there were those who clearly did see God but
did not die as a result (though they would have eventually met their end one way or another).

Consider also that God is not incapable of manifesting as an angel should He desire to do so.
That may be a good place to start, though it would not be a good place to leave off, as JWs do.
Does the Bible ever say he became an angel though sister ? It says he became a man and doesn’t this say he didn’t take on himself the nature of angels ?

“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels;

but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

do you see what I’m saying is says he didn’t take on himself the nature of angels but he did take on the seed of Abraham a man

Now to be clear it doesn’t say “ God could never become an angel “ I haven’t either what I’m saying is Jesus has never been an angel according to scriptire the son of God is greater than angels they worship him

“hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee?

And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:2-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you see how Hebrews is dressing a contrast between the son of God and angels ? From the first chapter ?

look at where it leads in chapter 2

“For if the word spoken by angels ( Old Testament ) was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;( New Testament ) which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:2-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sister Jesus is the talking here ….the one appointing this angel

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. ( Jesus is speaking he just hasn’t become flesh yet ) Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus isn’t the angel he’s the Lord who’s talking to Moses.

this actually happened Stephen wasn’t wrong it’s written on the law the wholes story Gods reaction Moses intercession God appointing that angel ( not himself as an angel but one of his angels over them )

“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices By the space of forty years in the wilderness?”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:41-42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He appointed an angel that would not pardon their sins over them giving the angels the ordination and moses the mediation

….I’m not talking about what God could do he could become and angelmof he wanted I’m talking about Jesus the lord our God who became a man who didn’t become an angel but became a man died for man was raised from e dead and returned to his glory as God not an angel but try e glory of God who greeted the angels and men and everything else

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Bible doesn’t ever say jesus manifested or became an angel he sent his angelic messengers throughout the Bible to carry messages to people on earth the Bible talked of God becoming on of us ot never speaks of him becoming an angel ….could he ? Of course he could do anything jesus it says never took upon him the natire of angels. Though seems clear to me that jesus sends his angels at times like this

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

or before his name was known or revelation had come like this this is Jesus the lord the one God speaking beforehand on secret

“Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:34‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He’s not becoming an angel , he’s appointed an angel to lead them and keep them in the way lead them into the promised land because if you read what’s happened they worshipped a calf and face it credit for saving them from Egypt d it enraged him they had just made the covenant saying well obey it all ,

a he declares he will destroy them all but Moses please with him and intercedes and saves israel from Gods judgement Thisnis the point God spares them because of Moses and yet he says he’s not going with them now but he’ll send his angel ahead of them with them and if they all obey he’ll deliver them if they don’t the y’all be cursed ….ect like Stephen is saying if we just follow the law and read what happened what Paul’s saying here becomes really clear

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God spoke through angels many times in this case he tiwrned and gave israel up to worship of him through angels ordination and Moses mediation , by animal blood and Moses words because of idolatry but he said even then he would come later and raise up the prophet who would speak his words

If you read Paul’s writings you see it repeatedly the reference to the different ordination of angels and mediation of Moses and how it’s a different ordination word priesthood sacrifice ect entirely new testament beginning and ending with Jesus the son of God who became a man and returned to his glory

Im not sure but I’ve never read any scripture saying God became an angel but several about him becoming a man seems like a solid argument to make

“And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire.

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the works of thine hands:”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:6-8, 10‬ ‭

Jesus is the Lord he became a man …..unless I’ve missed the doctrine saying he became an angel which seems to contradict where it says “he didn’t take the nature of angels on himself but the nature of men vis aBrahms seed “

And given the constant references to the ordination of angels being inferior to the ordination of the son of God th e leviticle priesthood of the law being inferior to melchezideks the word of angels being inferior to Christs ect the inferiority of the sacrifices they gave to the one Christ offered ,

It seems like one of those things people either will hear or won’t but it’s there in everyone’s Bible I’m not personally aware sister of any doctrine teaching Jesus became an angel …..but I e heard that theory since the seventies that he’s Micheal the archangel made flesh ….the Bible doesn’t say that though it says zgod was made flesh and Micheal isn’t God he serves God like Gabriel ….angels are heavenly servants of God he sends them many times in scriptire

Jesus is in this dream but he’s not an angel

“And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭28:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God became a man I’ve heard that part never heard the part of him being an angel prior to his birth or even becoming angel he sent them A lot and they spoke his word often like prophets but never heard of him becoming an angel

Lol it tells us in the passage what it means

“And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire.

….But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:6-7, 13-14‬

the Bible well explains angels where they are from what they do how some rebelled and went to war in heaven and were cast out with Satan ect

It’s insane how if anyone presents scripture here in this Bible forum it becomes a huge controversy and we have to explain how angels could mean anything when it’s clearly talking about what the Bible has always called angels heavenly servants of God that at times he sends with messages or for purposes like when he sent an angel to do this

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To read that at then argue “ we’ll an angel could mean something else “ what impact does it have on what it says there or sense does that make if an angel is a four legged frog with wings it still says “ God appointed and angel who would not pardon transgressions over the people

i dont understand the relevance of the argument how come no one is adressing what I’ve actually said but keeps responding to me about stuff like “ angel could mean something else “ it’s in context talk g about what it’s talking about lol man this place

Dear brother, I am on my way out right now and I do not have time to read your long post heehee
but I do understand what you are saying, as I said, or to add to what I said, it is similar to those
objecting on the bsasis that Jesus never plainly said "I am God," although there are many ways He
proved He was still the same, just as Scripture affirms it in a multitude of ways... and as Cameron
said, angel can simply mean messenger. Do you ever wonder what happened to angels after they
appeared as men? Like those who came to escort Lot and his family? Did they have human lives?
Or only appear for a short-lived specific purpose and then return to their first estate, as it were.
Because it could very well be the same for Jesus making an appearance before His birth.
Anyways I shall return in a short while and read the rest of your post then...

My comment was just a general comment. More was being discussed than simply the difference between Jesus and angels. I don't think anyone was arguing that Jesus wasn't in every way superior to angels. But I can certainly be wrong.
And Merry Christmas brother.
merry Christmas brother yeah the conversation became something it wasn’t what did you mean ? Angels can mean messengers ? I didn’t really get the relevance …. Arent angels pet of the biblical doctrine from the ot and new spiritual ministers of God ?

who do carry messages perform tasks they serve God on earth at times they come and witness things for God like soddom and Gomorrah they ask save people like lot ect the nt talks about angels also I’m not sure what relevance or what you reqlly Meant there

what I was saying is that whole chi spree and really the whole book of Hebrews separates Jesus the son of God from angels and seperate e the New Testament from the old that was ordained by angels , mediated by Moses , performed by levites in aman made temple observing a book to the letter

hebrews is talking about what it explains angels are those spiritual heavenly ministers of God

“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”
Hebrews‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Quoting this to try and "prove" that Jesus was not the Angel of the LORD shows that (1) you know how to take verses out of context, (2) you how to post very lengthy posts full of unrelated Scriptures and full of all kinds of capitalizations, and (3) you know how to dismiss Scripture when it does not suit your false beliefs. You have rejected the testimony of Exodus 3 against your false beliefs, and that is a very serious matter. I will not waste any more time on your posts.

The Ten Commandments in Revelation

The opening verses establish the book of Revelation as the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
  • The book is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • The Revelation of Jesus Christ was given by God to Jesus.
  • Jesus sent and signified it by His angel to John.
  • Those who read and hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein will be blessed.
  • The time is at hand.
John wrote the Revelation of Jesus Christ circia 90 AD, which puts Jesus in heaven giving the message to John. This is indeed shown to be the case in John's accounts of what he saw. Jesus is giving this message from heaven post-crucifixion. It is the last message for the world.

Revelation 2:17 through Revelation 3:22 contain the letters to the seven churchs. In the letters, Jesus rebukes the churches because of their sin, and calls them to repentance. He tells them to watch and that He is coming quickly.

Revelation 21 warns the consequences of continuing in unrepentant sin.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 22 makes a powerful statement concerning commandment keeping. Jesus sent His angel to testify to the churches.

Revelation 22:13-16 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without [outside the city] are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
  • Jesus encapsulates the statement with His utmost authority, adding emphasis.
  • Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (New Jerusalem).
  • Outside of the city are all manner of sinners.
    • The scene described:
      • Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
    • Commandments:
      • Murderers:
        • Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
      • Whoremongers:
        • Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
      • Idolators:
        • Exodus 20:1-3 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
        • Exodus 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
      • Liars:
        • Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Conclusion
  • Jesus received His revelation from God, which He then gave to John.
  • Jesus signified the whole book of Revelation.
  • The Ten Commandments are clearly visible in the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • The time for repentance is now.
  • The time is at hand. Judgment is come. He is coming quickly.
The book of Revelation defines the remnant.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
  • The dragon makes war with the remnant of the woman's seed.
    • The remnant of the woman's seed keeps the commandments of God.
    • The remnant of the woman's seed has the testimony of Jesus Christ, which according to Revelation 19:10 is the Spirit of Prophecy.
The book of Revelation defines the saints.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  • The patience of the saints is perseverence through persecution, through tribulation.
  • The saints keep the commandments of God.
  • The saints keep the faith of Jesus.
There should be no question concerning commandment keeping and the Christian.

Yay...another old covenant diatribe.

I'm chilling 2,000 years later
Perhaps our dear brother @posthuman can relate? .:ROFL:
You know, the general sentiment that i've seen in a lot of Christian forums in regards to Revelations or the Apocalypse is a sense of fear and anxiety which i personally find very strange.
Because if the Heavens opens up right now and we enter in the final days, that would be a sign of joy or relief for me. Relief because finally God is here to redeem this fallen world, begin the eternal kingdom and the New Jerusalem and we go back to how we were supposed to be in The Garden but with more appreciation for our God.
It's a sign of relief and joy when it happens not fear, but that's just me i guess.

well that is the thing, in the kingdom of heaven you have to follow the commandments... better get used to them but b=no worries it is written

I understand the concept of obedience to GOD and I follow the commandments they are based on Love and are good. many people fail to know this, how obedience to GOD is essential, we have had many good example of disobedience in the bible and what it brings, death.

the LAW of Moses was given to the israelites in the desert. they were a rebellious people, they were in Egypt worshipping false GODS, they were slaved with no moral, ethical or hygienic laws. The mosaic laws was essential then to correct these shortcomings. I admit many if the laws written by Moses have enormous values ans describe in detail how to behave, do or not to do, they would provide a great foundation to any society. However as you know all of this at the heart of the law and commandments is love. this is what Jesus came to explain, not to follow the law blindly but with the heart, He Magnified the commandments explaining and expanding their true meaning.

Now what do you do with all of the ceremonial laws, civil laws, are you saying these are forever? Jesus paid the price of our sins forever, will sacrifices resume in the Kingdom of heaven? I would like to hear from you on these obsolete laws that can no longer be followed.

Blessings.
God's law is spiritual (Romans 7:14), so it has always been intended to teach us deeper spiritual principles that are aspects of His nature and the way to know Him. God's nature is eternal, so all of His laws for how to testify about His nature are there also eternal, which is why Psalms 119:160 says that all of God's righteous laws are eternal, so none of them will ever become obsolete. In Deuteronomy 4:2, it is sin to add to or subtract from God's law, so while Jesus expounded upon God's law, he did not expand it.

The Bible never lists which laws are moral, ethical, hygienic, ceremonial, or civil, and never even refers to those as being categories of law. People are free to categorize God's laws however we want, such as I could categorize them based on which part of the body is most commonly used to obey/disobey them, such as with the law against theft being a hand law, but just because I can categorize them in that manner does not establish that any of the authors of the Bible categorizes them in the same manner, so I would quickly run into error if I interpreted them as referring to a category that I just created.

Morality is in regard to what we ought to do and we ought to obey God, so all of God's laws are inherently moral laws. While some of God's laws have aspects that are hygienic, the point is not to have good hygiene. For example, many people will wash themselves clean from dirt before ritually immersing. In 1 Peter 1:16, we are told to be holy for God is holy, which is a quote from Leviticus where God was giving instructions for how to do that, which includes refraining form eating unclean animals (Leviticus 11:44-45), so while there are night and day differences between how healthy it is to eat clean or unclean animals and there are a tremendous number of parasites and diseases that have been transferred to humans through eating unclean animals, the purpose is to testify about God's holiness, which is about much more than hygiene.
