If an individual believes Jesus Yeshua, he will do as He did, and obey Him. In so doing and speaking he would be labeled left of Karl Marx.

Most folks today, especially those who dip their religion in politics, talk out of both sides of the mouth.

That's a good expression...dip their religion in politics.

I have my own thoughts on people calling themselves Christian and involved in politics as much as some of them do. I do not see how a Christian does not end up compromising some down the line. I also think waving a gun around (I am not anti-gun) and yelling about your rights while spitting 'Christian' out the other side of your mouth is not especially helpful.

Interestingly, I have also learned that many are Catholic and claim their religion as proof of how righteous they are. Examples...the WH puppet and fancy Nancy.

Sure you can be a Christian and jump into the fray, but it's kind of like some yeast is going to work on you.

A good statistical sample size is about 10% of the population.

you know more about statistics than professional statisticians now?
or you partially-parrot the first google result you see when you are searching for a way to argue, without giving the full quote, because the actual full quote undermines your position?
how do i swallow that?

did you read google search result #2?

https://www.qualtrics.com/blog/calculating-sample-size/

plug in 300 million population and 99% confidence level into the calculator. see what you get.

love you bro.
but mathematician, you are not -- and total knowledge of current American society, you do not have.
we live in bubbles. as devoted believers, we are a minority just like LGBT people are a minority -- if your complaint is that a minority is trying to enforce their views on the majority, that finger is pointing right into the mirror, friend.

if they have no right to try to shape secular politics to their benefit, neither do we.

Well...we do have a commission to go into all the earth. If that commission is fulfilled successfully, politics will no doubt be influenced.

That is a false conclusion. Promoting evil and wickedness is not a matter of "secular" politics but a matter of spiritual warfare. The Democrats have declared war on America, as well as war on Christians. Of course, now you are between a rock and a hard place, since to support Democrats today is to be a minion of Satan.

They have simply "outreasoned" us. That is, they been able to convince more people to follow their logic, which makes sense really if you tink about it. The majority of so-called Christian offer a logic that generally employs the likes of such as scare tactics, ad hominem, and other lazy argumentative tactics that won't stay long in flight if they get off the ground at all.

You seem to be forgetting a critical fact. Those evildoers are under the direct control of Satan and his demons, since they have rejected Christ. So it is not a matter of reason and logic at all. Is there any reason or logic in clamoring for the murder of infants and babies? Yet promoting abortion is a key issue for Democrats.

I'm not claiming that they've used sound logic, just that they're arguments must be more persuasive, which apparently then "wins" the debate. So, is it possible that the arguments presented are that weak that they are so easily bested? or is it simply just a lack of effort? It would seem the truth would be sound and present pricks to kick against, so to speak. I don't clearly recall exactly how it goes, "an argument can be valid without being sound" I think.

Remember when the Israelites wanted a king and God wanted to be their King and then He let them have what they wanted and everything went south after that?

Making God our own King and honoring Him as our King might just help us to see better and understand how the world we do not see is greatly affecting the physical world around us. For we desperately need discernment and understanding in this sharply divided country, not to mention the rest of the world.

The world has become a small place because of technology and voices clamor from every direction to persuade and even overtake us. The Bible says do not overcome evil with evil, but overcome evil with good. Maybe in our lives we need to determine just what that means for each of us personally and go forward from there.

That's really pretty much a challenge and I mean for myself also. It can be easy to take our eyes off God at times and look at the situation instead of understanding that God does in fact know all about it. We are not heading for peace on earth; just the opposite in fact so now would be the time to make sure we have the mind of Christ and do not give in the devil's temptations to falter or become fearful.

What I have noticed, is that even if we, as Christians, are right in what we think or believe, there is the opposite reaction to what it is that grieves us about politics or what people say or do. That opposite reaction, if not kept in the light of God's word, can make us angry, hostile, say things that we should not say or even do things according to the world systems.

The devil plays both sides. If we react in our flesh to the wrong that we see, then we are also at fault. I hope, if reading this, you see what it is I am trying to say. :)

Rome, way back in the 300s AD, corrupted the leadership of the church by offering them health care, lower taxes, privileged property ownership, and support from the military. In exchange, the church had to support the current administration and say their actions were ordained by God.

Sound familiar?

seems like the very definition of "secular" to me.

No one is good but God alone - therefore all that is without God ((i.e. all things secular)) is evil.

No apostle ever sought a seat in the Roman senate or the Jewish sanhedrin. why?

The Democrats have declared war on America
You're speaking 100% secularly with that remark. worldly politics have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. republicanism and nationalism are utterly divorced from Christianity.

It's inane: the people you are calling "the democrats" ARE america.

be careful you are not bought by either of the equally secular, worldly political parties. all they want is to deceive you into hating your neighbor and conceding worldly power to their figureheads.

They taught you to despise your neighbor; how then do you reason that they are the voice of God???

no one?
Oh.
Which one is preaching Christ?

It may be anecdotal but I've heard ((for example of what you are saying)) that in ancient Rome unwanted babies were dumped in trash heaps, a primitive form of abortion.

And that Christians didn't try to get involved in politics to try to outlaw the practice. they just went to the dumps and adopted the children.

eventually societal norms changed as more people in the population were converted - not by law but by nature.
but we know by prophecy the world will only grow more and more wicked - does that mean we are supposed to become modern pharisees and seek worldly powers to enforce an outward morality on an inwardly immoral people??

sounds idiotic to me. but maybe that's just me. I believe we should focus on people, not politics.

It's carefully calculated theater, in an extremely well-funded and researched effort to buy the votes of the Bible belt.

It's a facade. they purposely set out to deceive Christians into voting R. they use fear, hate mongering, misinformation, nationalism and sprinklings of buzzwords.

be wise. neither one of these worldly groups are our friends. they are wolves, all of them, picking different targets.

We, sheep, are prey animals.

Secular means having nothing to do with religion. But since the religion of the Left is Marxism/Fascism, there is nothing secular about that. Hating God and Christ and hating Christians is not secular.

I think its the same kind of paganism that worships a human king as God, but in a pantheistic way because its a party of ideas

The point is: if the commission is successful, people from all walks of life will be converted, and all of society will be transformed.
They will be preaching Christ by the way they live.
