@2ndTimeIsTheCharm ….

So now you are judging me and calling me out as one of the wolves in sheep’s clothing, an antichrist? I’m trying to mix into Christian Chat the leaven of the Pharisees? Do you even know what they taught? I should be publicly called out because I’m committing a sin of heresy and need to repent? What I have to say on this forum is gangrene? Whew! That’s quite a bagful of accusations. I’m glad my heavenly Father taught me who I am in Christ, and not you.

Let me say this gently…. A difference of opinion/interpretation is not a sin that leads to death. We are all trying to learn here. Members are all on various stages of their Christian walk. Let “iron sharpen iron.” Think for yourself and not for others. We all have the Word.

Next, you are not the overseer of the flock here. I wish we had more oversight. But we don’t. So it would really be to your own benefit to be watchful for your own soul. You say what you believe fairly well, I think. It’s up to me, and me alone, to see whether it jives with scripture. I will never make a judgment about you or what you say for anyone else—or talk about you in the third person for all the forum eyes to read. I am talking just to you.

I really hated to call you out for talking about other members here because I didn’t want to embarrass you—but you were really embarrassing yourself by doing that. It is so VERY rude to discuss another member of this forum with the others without addressing the person in question directly. I called out your behavior more in the spirit of an older woman teaching a younger one (Titus 2:4-6). I’m sorry that my public post embarrassed you. However, what I said to you was VERY different from accusing you of being a “fake” Christian. I don’t know your heart; and obviously you don’t know mine. I do believe that ALL we say and do should honor the Word of God. Don’t you?

I am well aware of what Jesus taught about how to handle a problem between Christians, so there really is no need to bombard me and everyone else with your totally off-topic article.

There is so much bad behavior among the brethren here on the forum—so many angry words. It saddens me so much that perhaps I was out of line in offering advice publicly. Lots of people come here to be encouraged, to read and learn. When Christians attack each other, it sets such a bad example. When people meet me, I want them to see Christ in me. Don’t you? Do you really believe the Light is shining in this thread? Sadly, I don’t, and I’m pretty sure that everyone already agrees that ALL of God’s elect are dearly loved, that they are all saved by grace through faith in this present age. GRACE—what a blessing!

You pretend that Selah did nothing wrong - you're just as dishonest as she is. And this WHOLE thread shows both of your lies and gaslighting.

And even though I didn't name you, it's funny that you think I did. I wonder why. :sneaky:

In the days of Joshua along with Moses, the people had been given so many "proofs" of God being with them, of leading them, of revealing Himself to them, mainly through Moses for a time, and then through Joshua, but also through many signs and wonders that allowed/forced Pharaoh to free them, such as the ten plagues being a highlight of all that preceded their release from slavery in Egypt, as God showed forth His power against their false idols and gods, one of whom was Pharaoh himself. All crossed the parted Red Sea also, with not a drop of water wetting any of them. How amazing such an escape from bondage! So they had plenty of empirical evidence on which to base their choice to believe... and still many chose not to, and even Moses was not allowed entry into the promised land. God commanded them to circumcise their hearts, and yet we now know our heart/s is/are circumcised not by human hands. This heart circumcision in my view is key in anyone's journey of coming to believe, and it seems many overlook to say that any man is free to believe, despite Scripture attesting to the fact that the natural man does not accept the things of God, since he is hostile in his mind toward Him. Still, all know there is a God, and it is incumbent upon man to seek out the truth of this matter, and also promised that those who seek shall find.
You make 2 very important points here that I'll come back and respond to. Spot on post.

Well what I have firstly isn't your business,

Why do you think you can get to know a person by chucking stones.

Is it your Jewish nature to chuck stones, because it looks like you've got a whopping great pile there

Your empty threats means nothing to,

And as for you playing moderator, you've got a long way to go before you have any descent moderator skills.

If I was you I would stop trying to please the crowd.

And take a look in the mirror.

Where i hope it doesn't crack because of your reflection of cursing you keep showing.

I would also pray to God and ask him to search your heart and soften it before it sets like concrete if it hasn't already 😊

On a last note another Jewish song for you

Maybe this Jewish singer will help you feel at home instead of being the villain

Am I to defend myself against a false accusation?

Your hook has been "de-baited. "

You still act as if you are not going to have to appear before the Lord who is King of the Jews?

You bless out of one side of the same mouth that curses on the other?

You quoted me in your post #462, so I assumed you were directing the article you posted (unrelated to the issue I had with you) at me.

If Selah did anything wrong, it was in sharing an interpretation of scripture that others might not agree with. As far as I know, that’s not a problem that affects her salvation or mine, even if I happen to share the same view. You, however, have judged (not your job), have been rude (not becoming to a Christian), and have done your best to hurt rather than help people who disagree with you. I believe you when you say you think you were right. That’s fine. It just tells me that you lack compassion, and that’s fine too. You have free will.

Again.... Not you are terrible with details.

I wanna be reborn
I wanna be reborn

When it’s getting darker
It’s my time to shine
Like a star in the sky
Yours is just like mine
We’re lying right there
Waiting for a sign

No don’t try to save me
Because I can handle fear

She is not even saved!
She claims she still wants to be reborn!
But, says she is strong enough to save herself....

You need to go back to the source of you insights and images in your mind.
Acts 16:16-18

Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave
who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money
for her owners by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting,
“These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around
and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!”
At that moment the spirit left her.

See how she tried to fit in with believers?
She even tried to make herself look as if she were on their side.

You are nothing new.......

And, if the apostle Paul was annoyed?
We should not be made to feel guilty by you claiming we do not live as Christians should towards you!

Until you show genuine fruits of repentance? You are just being allowed here by God to test believers.
Tested to make those who walk in the Spirit to be made stronger by grace and the truth that your example demands we enter into.

And, having been born a Jew? That does not mean I remained being a Jew.
For all Christians have become a New Creation in Christ.

I am beginning to enjoy this....

It's quite common for Jewish roots to go a few Ways In life.

True Jewish roots I love, which l learned was to be solid in your belief and to not give an inch.

Another Jewish belief was to keep each other safe against the enemy, and another Jewish belief was to not give anything away to the enemy,

Another Jewish root I have and I have many was to maintain secrecy and loyalty for each of your loved ones and to welcome brothers

The next Jewish root was to not go the way of outsiders.

Sadly a lot Jews saw a brother as an outsider Jesus and went the wrong way.

You don't know I have all these Jewish roots do you.

No you'll never know.

You know why.

Because you ain't a true Jew emoji-smiley.gif

I guess you didn't read the article I posted. We ARE suppose to judge what is right and what is false and expose it so that others are warned. We suppose to stick to God's truth and no other deviations. If you think that's rude or lacking compassion should I care? Jesus and the apostles and all His servants through the centuries have been accused of misbehavior or sin too - anything to try to stop them from preaching the truth. The Bible warns His people that such things will happen, so no surprise coming from you.

Still, all know there is a God, and it is incumbent upon man to seek out the truth of this matter, and also promised that those who seek shall find.
I have been focusing on the difference between belief verses choice, but salvation doesn't take place in a vacuum and has many moving parts. The circumcision of the heart, the circumcision made without hands...Colossians 2:11...is little spoken of, as is conversion. As a result, the inward working of God as He draws near in salvation are often credited to the believer, and not to God. Somehow people who all their lives had no interest in God or the things of God find their circumstances causing them to understand their need for God, yet are unable to discern the activity of God underlying it all. And while this makes sense leading up to salvation and in its aftermath, to remain in such understanding over time reveals a lack of growth, discernment, and understanding.
Another very good point you make is that regardless of the miracles one is privy to, they will never affect change in the heart of an individual. Signs and wonders can only truly be appreciated by those who already believe. Unbelievers continually look for signs because they need constant reminders while believers have an internal witness that continually reminds them of their connection to God.

She she does not know Christ.

You listen to her ...

FYI... I lived in Jerusalem while attending school there.

Jewish thinking suits you fine. You are more Jewish than I am. ;)
you missed the lyrics

No don’t try to save me

Because I can handle fear

Waterfalls around me

This time it’s not my tears

let it all be

Now it’s getting clear

She sings about not wanting to be saved in a situation she doesn't need saving in.

Not that she doesn't want to be saved

But seeing as your not a true Jew, you chose to believe she's not a believer

And you speak like that about your own people.

I know she believes in God, emoji-smiley.gif

Ninet Tayeb said she does not consider herself to be a religious person.
your you looking to dig a grave for someone are you

I know she believes in God.

Besides is about believing in God to

If some one says there not religious it may mean there saying there not a priest.

Or that they don't spout of religious laws to people

It's really funny how people here try prove people are not believers here.

It's quite soul destroying really.

you have to believe in the father

The father will help you to believe in the son.

Now see I'm preaching to Isreal

And I've searched like a king would 🙂

its funny how you've not commented on Someone singing I want to be reborn is nice.

Instead you've looked for fault

I can see why Jesus got cross with Isreal for wanting him to wipe out there enemy.

You knows whats really sad tho.

The fact that you choose to go that way.

God is not just the God of Isreal.

He's the God of all mankind all over the world.

I think people forget he chose to save Isreal first only because he had to start somewhere right.

The gospel was for the four corners of the world.

Obviously all this self centred stuff from other people here is messing with you.

I know your better than this.
