Luther isn't to blame for all of that. But where he departs from the NT in the name of sola scriptura, he departs from the Scriptures, as the Scriptures do not teach sola Scriptura. He also departs from Saint Paul by saying "faith alone", when Paul says "faith" in Romans 3:28, but Paul does not say "faith alone" in Romans 3:28.
Luther says "faith alone" and that is heresy.
There are no gnostic rituals in the EOC. It is Luther who acts like a gnostic, a person with secret knowledge of the Scriptures, or of whatever. Luther says, of himself, "It is so, because I, Martin Luther, say it is so." Sounds like "ego papism", "self infallibility" to me!
