but journey Eden still exist. It says so in Revelations. I don't know where it is exactly but the Bible tells us it still exists:

Revelation 2:7
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

Genesis 3:24
So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Revelation 22:2
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:14
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

I don't know but from reading it, it sounds like the city or New Jerusalem is Eden where the tree of life is. I don't know reread revelations chapter 21 and 22 and tell me what you think.

The Garden of is a SPIRITUAL place. That is why we cannot find it on the earth today. That is why an ANGEL is set to guard it and keep it from being accessed by other human beings...lest THEY enter in and also eat of the Tree of life which would render them living FOREVER in the fallen state of man. While it was on the earth, the Garden was in the parrallell spiritual realm. Adam had to be formed outside of the Garden because he was formed from natural earth. This had to be done this way because it was God's plan that eventually, Adam would no longer be in the Garden and physical death would be not only the consequences of his disobedience, but also a necessity. This is the only way that man could have a TRUE RELATIONSHIP with God. God told Adam that he would die if he ate of the fruit of the Tree of KNowledge of good and evil. He had to eat of it in order to know (knowledge) that he had a choice in being in relationship with God. Physical death is what put an end to deception and living in a sinful state. But because Adam and Even had been promised the Savior (Gen 3:15), their trust in God's ability to fulfill it was their sanctification unto salvation and so when physically dead, they still attained heaven and eternity with Him.
So...since the whole Biblical story seems to have begun in the Middle East, we could assume that they earthly, phyiscal formation of the body of Adam was in that region. Scripture confirms this because of the identification of the four rivers that ran through the earthly realm of the Garden. The Garden was both earthly and spiritual in it's location, but Adam was formed of the EARTH, THROUGH and BY Jesus, the Word spoken. He was formed of the earth and PUT INTO the spiritual realm of the Garden.

Thankyou Ananda, your welcome. This is the way I see it. The New Jerusalem is heaven, not eden. I understand now the difference of our opinions and why.

most believe that Eden is Paradise
and that Paradise is Heaven

Well yes, to a degree, Eden was like a paradise. It was a beautiful lush garden and had the best choice of plants there, with just about every tree bearing fruit to eat. It would of had fresh running water with animals there living in harmony with them.

but, this beautiful eden which looked like a paradise was on the earth, because God made it that way for them. When they got kicked out of the garden they would of felt it. It wouln't of been as nice outside. Now they'd have to search for a fruit tree and be living amongst plants with thorns, and poisonous leaves etc and have animals and insects there that bite etc.

Paradise just symbolises an idylic place. Harmony, peaceful, serene, perfect. calm etc.. if you understand what I mean, but the word paradise mentioned in the NT by Jesus does not talk about us going back to Eden, but going to a place that is just as beautiful as Eden. A place where there is peace, and no war, and plenty of food, and shelter, and warmth and safety and protection.

I believe that Paradise is the 1000 year kingdom that will be on this earth when the Israelites live in peace with Jesus and the saints there to guide them.

Then after this dominion, Jesus will clean every thing up. all the living & dead that did not make the first resurection will be judged and thrown into the lake of fire. The heavens and the earth will be melted, because man has defiled it all by worshiping everything including the stars, the moon, the saints, and even angels. Satan polluted heaven when he rebelled too, so it's got to go and everything made anew. This is the New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven, Gods spiritual city and only those who turned to spirit can live there. The tree of life is there too, and now it's a spiritual tree because this tree is the Word of God.

Gen 2

The garden that God had planted eastward in Eden and placed the man to dress and keep it, was also the place that God met and spoke with Adam to fellowship and teach him by inspiration in the cool of every day (Gen 3:8). This garden that God had planted is where God purposed to meet the man that He had formed from the dust of the ground. In this garden Adam would work, he would eat from this garden and God brought to Adam every beast of the field, every fowl of the air and every living creature that he had formed to be named by Adam.

In this garden God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and took a rib and formed a woman, bringing her to Adam, who named her and cleaved (had intercourse) to her, consummating their union and became one flesh. This act of consummation was probably done before the woman was able to produce any fertile eggs and was pleasurable being done in the pleasures of the garden of Eden (the place of pleasure). When Adam knew his wife and bore a son, Cain, they were outside the garden of Eden and became fruitful and multiplied through procreation, but only after sin had entered into Adam through his transgression that was transferred to Cain.

Speaking of wisdom and understanding in relationship to the tree of life (Prov 3:13-19)...

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies (Job 28:18, Prov 8:11, 20:15): and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. 19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Prov 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Prov 15:3,4 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. 4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Col 2:2-4 ...the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 And this I say , lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

2Cor 11:3 But I fear , lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve (Ez 28:1-19) through his subtilty (false wisdom - Gen 3:13, Gen 2:1-7), so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The work of the devil in the beginning (1Jn 3:8) in the garden of Eden was to make the tree of knowledge to be a desirable tree of wisdom and understanding that would make those that ate of its fruit, having their eyes (Eph 1:18, Is 11:3) opened, to be as gods knowing good and evil (Gen 3:5-7). This tree of knowledge had nothing to do with God's wisdom or understanding, but was earthy, sensual and devilish (Jm 3:15). If Satan could get them to eat of this tree they would have no greater desire then the knowledge of good and evil lifting them up to be as gods, God would be forced to remove them from the garden of Eden as he was removed from his place, after corrupting the wisdom of his own throne by the iniquity found in him (Ez 28:15-19, Is 14:12-14, Ps 94:20).

When they did eat, they became aware of their own uncovered flesh (nakedness) that effected their mind, emotions, conscience, volition and conscious capacity that went from God-consciousness to self-consciousness, fear, double-mindedness, insecurity and they quickly covered themselves with a false covering of fig leaves as they hid themselves from the presence of God among the trees when they heard His voice walking in the cool of the garden (Gen 3:8-13). As soon as they ate, it did not take long for all that to happen and they were not covered by God until God made and clothed them with coats of skin (Gen 3:21).This time the presence of God came to them to bring the light of conviction and execute discipline upon them for their transgression and then to cover them, PERSONALLY, with coats of skins that came from animals whose blood had to be shed.
