Let's take a look at the Holy Spirit checklist and see if we can't discern something here.

First there's the gifts:

Word of Wisdom
Word of Knowledge
Faith
Healing
Working of Miracles
Prophecy
Discerning of spirits
Divers kinds of tongues
Interpretation of tongues

Does your relationship with, do these orbs manifest any of these things? Can you share with me an example or two?

Then there's the fruit of the Spirit:

Love
Joy
Peace
Longsuffering
Gentleness
Goodness
Faith
Meekness
Temperance

Does your relationship with, do these orbs manifest any of these things? Can you share with me an example or two? (Just off the top I find most of them lacking in your attitude here.)

What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? Isn't it to shine the light on, bring the glory to, and facilitate our relationship with the Risen Christ?

Does your relationship with, do these orbs manifest any of these things? Can you share with me an example or two?

I'm particularly worried that you iterate your relationship as with the Holy Spirit. Your relationship should be with the Risen Christ. The Spirit is a conduit to that. You, your 'relationship', and these orbs remind me of Catholics and Mary - something to preoccupy you, keep you off focus and muddy the waters.

Then there's graven images. We're not supposed to seek them. Because then we worship them instead of the original. That's just our fallen nature. Does your relationship with, do these orbs worship God? Can you share with me an example or two?

True, true, I don't know your experience with the Holy Spirit. But tit for tat, you don't know mine. So climb down off your alter and realize that as much as you know, it's not time to stop learning. It may be time to start discerning.

Does your relationship with, do these orbs manifest any of these things? Can you share with me an example or two? Calmly and without the soapbox?

i hope you don't think i've called you that at all.
my position is that a deceiving spirit is involved here. one that's not a human.

one day we will be the judge of angels. don't worry; the Truth will out.
I'll second witness an amen to that.

My faith, discerning of spirits, word of knowledge and longsuffering came to me through the Holy Spirit. Please do not ask me to explain how because I fear that you would not understand. Peace.

Perhaps it's that you don't want me to ask you to explain because you fear I will not agree? I'm just looking for tangible evidence of the Holy Spirit - have you healed someone, have you shown longsuffering and meekness towards others, have you worked Christ glorifying miracles? The Bible says we'll know people by their works. I'm just asking, beside puffing up your head, has it produced any true good works? From what I've read in this thread, I don't see much of the fruit in evidence except faith. Got lotsa that. But all the rest of it is missing from your attitude.

I don't doubt your salvation, my friend, nor do I doubt you've had experience with the Holy Spirit. But just remember, to the lengths that you believe, are the lengths satan will go to deceive - and more. The more you know the more he sows. The Holy Spirit may have given you lots of knowlege. But it wasn't Him who put the chip on your shoulder.

You can stop trolling now and get back on topic. This thread is not about me personally, but about the Holy Spirit. Thank you.

Why must you insist on trying to fake pictures of the Holy Spirit. I've never even heard of anyone faking orb pictures. Who is it that you are trying to deceive?

Guest
Father God, I thank You for your mercy and lovingkindness, Father I lift up your child, notforgotten, and ask that You reveal the truth to him. I ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Notforgotten, I woon't argue with for I beleive you are being decieved but God will open up your eyes and give you discernment if you let Him.

You needn't pray for me, Father God has helped me with this thread by popping up useful information on my computer that I was unable to find myself.

It's funny how a person who has never even seen the Holy Spirit can tell me what He doesn't look like. Don't give up your day job.

it's funny how you say in one post "i'd like to see you fake a picture of these orbs"
and in another "why are you faking pictures of the Holy Spirit"
and now you imply "those pictures of dust are just what the Holy Spirit looks like"

what makes you think i've never seen anything?

i am telling you over and over and over; these photographs are nothing but light. there are many deceiving spirits gone out into the world. according to scripture, the Holy Spirit testifies of sin, righteousness, judgement and of Christ. "supernatural orbs" glorify themselves, pagan spiritualism and mystery. why is discernment such a pox with you?

what's to explain? it's a painting. of a dream. how do you explain the pyramids?

i draw a comic strip myself, whose main character is a bubble named John. John the bubble. how do you explain that???

almost all new-age spiritualism talks about "chakras" that are bubble-like. the imagery is not new to supra-physical thinking.

how do you explain that none of the testimonies on the internet of people seeing strange lights glorify Christ?
we have a ready explanation: the spirit that they interacted with is not from God. that's based on how scripture tells us to test the spirits.
what's the counter argument to that?
This is not one of your comic strips. This painting is from a twenty year old child prodigy who is considered a genius. She was merely ten years old when she had painted that painting. Some of her works go for as much as 3 million dollars each. She is famous for her paintings being inspired by Father God through dreams. This painting is one of them and those bubbles in that painting were inspired by Father God. I suspect that you would have nothing to say about that unless you consider yourself smarter than a genius.

i had better luck last night stabilizing the camera.
tonight i'll shorten the shutter speed.

when this stuff "indwells" my wife she gets a runny nose, dry eyes and sneezing; in my part of the world we call it "seasonal allergies" -- quite different from the anointing of the Holy Ghost! thankfully i'm not too affected by the former, but surely am by the latter!

here's to hoping someone at least appreciates the beauty of this earth God created!

it's nice of you to judge my comic strip without ever seeing it (in fact i was drawing it before i was 10 years old too!), thanks, but you forgot to answer my question:

Let's look again at this acrylic painting inspired by Father God through a dream and painted by a 10 year old genius. She is obviously God's little artist.

By: Child Prodigy Akiane Kramarik entitled, "Pyramid".

...In one of my dreams I saw the image of white pyramids beaten by the ocean waves and surrounded by live bubbles.

Unlike most of my paintings, I had no idea what those symbols meant, but I painted them anyway.

Today the meaning still remains a riddle...

- Akiane Kramarik

It appears from the vantage point that Akiane was in when this painting was inspired that she, being in the spirit world, was most likely in a live bubble herself.

Ezekiel 1:21 "for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels".

If you have ever had a dream of gliding through the air, you probably were in a live bubble yourself. You were traveling through the Holy Spirit.

Do people spend 3 million dollars on one of your comic strips believing that it was inspired by God? And are you comparing yourself to a genius child prodigy? Explain to me exactly how it is that the Holy Spirit is to glorify Christ. And if you do not know this, how do you know that it wasn't done. I've heard of people turning to Christ after witnessing the supernatural orb. How often would the Holy Spirit have to do this to satisfy you? Just what is it that the Holy Spirit would have to do to satisfy you? And if He didn't do that which is in scripture, what would it be to you?

Jesus Himself had revealed the Holy Spirit to me twice and I do not have to test Him and I do know what He looks like. Besides, scripture tells us not to test God. The Holy Spirit is god, the third person in the Holy Trinity. I suggest you study some more.

does $ $ $ $ $ make something right?
10,000 screaming Elvis fans can't be wrong? that's your argument.

when the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples at Pentecost, they could do nothing by extol God.
now you say "i've heard of people who turned to Christ after seeing a supernatural orb..." but none of the evidence you've given supports this fantastic claim. instead every one of them points at new-age mysticism and flaccid, inconsistent and confused faux-spiritualism.

scripture says "test every spirit" and that "the spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God"
i suggest you do that very thing, and stop worshiping dust particles and chasing after every hint of spirituality as though there is no such thing as a demon.

you still have not given an answer why none of those 'testimonies' you linked to confess Christ.

thanks for the whacko-thread. i enjoy photography.
