Thank you for sharing that with me, it does shed some light on things. I don't doubt that you've had spiritual experiences, and will continue to. Just remember that to the depths that you experience the spiritual, is the depth to which satan will go to muddle it. I don't doubt that you know a lot. That's why I see a big red bulls-eye on your chest, and satan ighting up flaming arrows to fire at it. Your knowledge makes you a target.

That's why discernment is such a big thing. We are to discern the spirits. But how?

It goes back to that Holy Spirit checklist from a few posts back. When you look at something, ask does this thing/event/person/spirit manifest any of the gifts of the Spirit? Words of wisdom and knowledge, faith, healing, working of Miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues - are these evidenced by the thing/event/person/spirit? If they're true they should be. But other than the faith thing I can't really say one way or another what's going on there, I really just don't know enough. That's why I asked for examples.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance - does this thing/event/person/spirit produce fruit according to the Holy Spirit? See, this here is what's throwing up red flags for me. Your presentation of the Spirit violates pretty much all but one of them. That's what has me concerned.

And the most important test of all - does this thing/event/person/spirit bring light and glory to the Risen Christ? Any thing/event/person/spirit that cannot trace it's place and authority to the Risen Christ is false. That, as you like to declare, is a fact.

Let me share an example with you.

My wife and I spend a week on the beach every year. I love to bodysurf, but last year it had been flat and mushy and no good at all for days. Finally I did go in just to say I had gotten wet. But I just tread there, bobbing like a cork, everyone else around me bobbing like corks, waiting for something to happen. I got to thinking, 'gee Lord, I hate to be greedy but it would be nice to have some waves’, but time goes by and the corks keep bobbing. So again, I think, Jesus, if it'd be in Thy graces, could we..? But time passes and the corks keep bobbing. So my head is getting burnt, the rest of me is waterlogged, I'm thinking gee God if I can have just one wave so I don't have to swim back to shore. And these words come to me, in my spirit, "what do you keep asking Me for? You know better than that. You know you have My authority to call the waves up for yourself". So I laugh, and think You're absolutely right, then I faced out to sea and said in "Jesus' Name, how about some waves". A minute goes by, 2, and here they come. The best sets of the week. Wave after wave after wave after wave... I caught several good rides, then when I stopped to catch my breath I saw that lots of people were getting lots of good rides. Kids that had been standing around in the kiddie pool' were now chasing each other thru the surf, and there was a whole different Spirit and energy in the water. I laughed and said "Amen Lord, for all of these". A kid says "what's that mister?" "I think God decided we needed to be having more fun." "Yeah, the waves are really energetic now!" Yep I laughed. They sure are. It went on just long enough to kinda wear everyone out, then it went back to flat and mushy for pretty much the rest of the week.

So how do we test this spirit? There was a word of knowlege, an act of faith, a working of a miracle – and God’s power was confirmed to a kid who already knew something was going on.

The gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Sirit, the glory to God - These things are what will keep you from suffering satan's deceptions. I hope you will re-examine the subject at hand in the light of these.

I apologize, I was in error for bringing up the globe under Father God's left arm in that painting. The globe actually represents the world. I'm only human and as such am subject to error.
We are all subject to error and I am sure that Paul Rubens was well-intentioned, but that doesn't change the fact that no one has seen the Father...
Anyway, this is an off-topic and I do not wish to derail your thread.

Well......

1st You don't know me or what I know and or have studied the last almost 40 years.....
2nd I can read and Jesus taught clearly that the H.S. will testify of and point to Jesus...
3rd I have had a relationship with the Holy Spirit since the day I was SEALED with the HOLY SPIRIT of PROMISE

And lastly.....all I did was make a reference to a direct quote given by Jesus in the bible....if you want to reject that in favor of your ideas then have a ball friend......
I'm sorry, I don't think that I had explained the relationship that I had with the Holy Spirit clearly enough. The relationship that I had was one in which I saw Him and He spoke to me many times in a very real way. This relationship was not just in my heart or in my mind. Although, there is nothing wrong with that relationship either. Peace.

A picture of the supernatural orb bearing witness in a christian church.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

What you are looking at is the Holy Spirit glorifying Christ by bearing witness for testimony to God's children praising Christ in church.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ by bearing witness for testimony to Christ's disciples and God's children at all times and in any place, not just in church.

Let's talk about the Spirit of truth glorifying Christ and how this is done.

John 16:9 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it
to you.

The Holy Spirit declares to the Apostles that sit on the thrones of judgement that we belong to Christ and are not to be judged. This is how the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ.

Excellent. That's the way it's done! Very nice.

Now, apply these same principals to the orbs. How do the orbs glorify Christ? Is there scripture that clearly details the orbs glorifying Christ? Are they visible to anything besides a camera? In the picture above, are the orbs visible to the congregation's naked eye, or are they only visible on film?

This might actually make a good poll... it would be interesting to see how many Spirit-filled Christians have seen these things.

How can the Holy Spirit be in heaven, when his mission is to work in the earth? How do Apostles Judge Christians on earth?

You would do really well to Study The Gospel of John & chapters 14-17 The Bible does not teach you to seek after the voice of God or manifestations of God or the manifestations of the Holy Spirit or Angels, it says to seek God himself.

If you begin seeking after voices and manifestations you will invite every devil in hell to your door.

what i find strange is that the same phenomena is even more prevalent in this photo of French teenagers partying.
2922589015_2_3.jpg
should we infer that the Holy Ghost has a more powerful presence among teenage French revelers than in a church?

when the Holy Ghost was physically manifested at Christ's baptism, it was a sign to John & his disciples and all those that were near that Jesus was the Son of God.

when the Holy Ghost was physically manifested at pentecost, it was a sign to all those present that the promise Christ had made to them was true, and that these who then couldn't help but immediately begin to praise God & speak the gospel in all kinds of tongues were approved of God.

so Biblically speaking, when the Holy Ghost has made a visible appearance, it was for a sign that those it fell upon where approved by God and sent by Him.
does that mean we're wasting our time going to chapel, when the Holy Ghost is apparently much more 'active' at teenage parties in France?
or possibly what we're seeing in these photographs is not the Holy Ghost at all. . .

The Holy Spirit is in all places at all times. Christians are not judged by the Apostles. Christians pass judgement by the blood of the Lamb. This is the glory of Christ in which the Holy Spirit demonstrates. Nobody here is inviting the devil into their lives that I am aware of. All we are doing is studying up on the Holy Spirit. You can cool your engines, there is no harm in studying up on the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Ghost is everywhere at all times. The degree to which the ghost is energized and seen or photographed is irrelevant to our discussions. He bears witness to the good and the bad.

John 16:8-11 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and righteousness, and of judgement: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgement, because the ruler of this world is judged.

So what is one of the things that the Holy Spirit would be doing at a party? Bearing witness to sin. The Holy Spirit is not going to appease you posthuman by doing that what you expect of Him. I would suggest that when you have a question to look for the most logical answer in scripture instead of just trying to debunk everything. You are not going to learn much if you keep attempting to debunk the truth.

Notice how much these supernatural orbs resemble a human eyeball:
orb9.jpg
1 John 5:6 And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

What you are looking at is the Spirit of truth looking directly at the camera man and bearing witness to him taking the picture.

The Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit.

It is nice seeing this biblical truth in a photograph.

Please let this thread die a dignified death. You keeping on bumping it up in hopes it takes, but that won't happen, except for the occasional nut who thinks orbs are aliens or something else.

Have you ever spoken to these orbs? DO they talk to you and if they do, have you ever asked any of them if Jesus Christ is Lord and came in the flesh?

The Bible says to test all things and all you are doing is in error and refuted in the Bible, there is no drama, The Bible says you are wrong, but do not let that get in the way of your error.

I will ask you again, in the manifestations that have talked to you, have you ever asked any of them if Jesus Christ is Lord and came in the flesh?

If you did ask them this, what did they say or not say in their replies?

You are studying alright, but not the Holy Spirit, who does not take the form of orbs, light or other foolishness, yet the Bible states in 2 Cor 11that it is no marvel, that Satan is transformed into a angel of light.

This is how I know you are in serious danger and error, the Bible completely denies what you are sharing....All you have done is opened a door to familiar spirits in and they have now paved the way for the spirit of error and antichrist to take hold of you.

By the very fact you contradict yourself and really have no other BIble knowledge than what your skim milk understanding is, you are in need of serious help.

You are communicating with spirits, but no the HOLY SPIRIT!

Pray right now renounce your ties to darkness and the occult.

Jesus had revealed the Holy Spirit to me twice as an orb. There is no need to test a Spirit that Jesus reveals to you and if you think there is, you have a few screws loose. And Besides I have no doubts and I know for sure that it is the Holy Spirit. I have had a ten year relationship with the Holy Spirit (orb) and yes He does speak but not on His own authority, that what He hears He speaks.

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

spare us your lies and insults to the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ...
I'll forgive you because I know that you really do not know the truth.

Romans 9:1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit.

How do you know it was Jesus coming to you? Did you test him or just take him for his word. Furthermore, show me in the Bible where it says the Holy Spirit will manifest himself as an orb or anything else tangible?
