Every pattern I have posted begins with the Bible verse. Matthew 1:1, Mark 1:1, John 1:1, John 18:37, Revelation 19:12, Revelation 22:20, Revelation 22:21, and John 21:13. As a matter fact who has posted more Bible verses on this thread than me? What are my words compared to the words of God? Anytime I quote or post a Bible verse, then Jesus Christ is spoken of because he is the Word of God.
Anybody can throw quotes up on a response...

This one comes to mind for me....from Proverbs 26

Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Answer a fool as his folly deserves,
That he not be wise in his own eyes.
or, in ancient English... and, it contains 48 words.... that's 47+1 for emphasis....

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage.

Actually, you mix memorizing the content with memorizing location of the content based on numerical operations, which is wrong.

Second, why do you need to memorize 10 commandments, they are pretty simple. Are you able to forget that you should not kill anybody? Do you really need to have 7, 37 etc to remember that?
The topic was was memorizing Bible verses and locations in general. Exodus 20 was a simple example to illustrate a point. Here is another one. The first man Adam was earthly (1 Corinthians 15:47) and died Genesis 5 where we read about the book of his generation. He lived 930 years and the 930th chapter of the Bible is Matthew 1:1 where we read about the book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the second man. It is the 40th book of the Bible and the first of 4 gospels. I see order in all this. The numbers help me remember details. Maybe it isn't for everybody but I will take memorization over google any day.

I want to ask all the KJVonly people: What if they decided to make a new translation from the same manuscripts that were used in the KJV, but they decided to make it more modern english, would that be acceptable?

What im asking is: Do the manuscripts really matter? Or is it just the fact that KJV is KJV and everything else isnt? This is circular argument at its best if thats the case.

what does a triangular number mean in the context of scripture?

in the Greek, 156 instances of the name Peter - not counting Cephas - and 158 of the name Paul.

Triangular numbers are connected with the number 3...think of the 3rd day (Hosea 6:2, John 2:1) and an event that occurs on that day. It is prophetic.

Manuscripts matter.. And only translations inspired by the Holy Spirit should be made..

Yes, but only in english. Should it if you are right not in all languages 47 words and specific in hebrew and greek, if this should have a meaning for us?
Absolute time is English time. Absolute location is reckoned from England. Maybe God chose English in these last days just as he chose Greek during the early church. The are significant numerical patterns in the KJB and that is a fact.

Mildly interesting, but when you consider the following facts, the relevance slips into oblivion. The Hebrew OT does not have 39 books. All the text is there, but Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles are each one book. Further, the chapter divisions weren't in the originals.

Please, if you're going to assert meaning to numbers, stick to the ones that were present in the original languages.

Have you ever asked a Chinese person about this? I suggest you do. Time is nothing more than a convention. Location references are nothing more than a convention.

Nobody has bothered to challenge the existence of the patterns... possibly because nobody sees in them the value you ascribe to them. You keep asking for people to challenge their existence, but you haven't responded adequately to the challenges to their relevance.

Ok, but for what this should be good? What makes it worth? I mean what makes it different to the reveleated wird of God? Some new revealations, new truth? For what is it good to know this?

I have merely stated facts.

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thess. 5:21)

Prove what I have stated to be false. There is no contest.
some interesting things your posting, I've enjoyed reading them,

Don't let the scoffers get to you, they are a dime a dozen around these parts, lol

He's been asked this several times as to what it all proves. He's given no valid responses.

I see he's gained another disciple. Go figure.

Those of us who see this error? We're worth "a dime a dozen." Quite the Christian derogation right there...but it's not surprising.

Scoffers? All that most of us want is some kind of "relevance" shown for all of this numerical jibber-jabber.

The OP's assertion that it "means something" does not constitute relevance.

He has proven nothing about numerical patterns that "show" us that the KJV is "the only inspired translation" of God's word.... which is what he was asserting in the first place.

This is similar to the people who claim that similarities in bone structure and arrangement between species is definite proof of "evolution".... when in reality, all it shows is that all beings were created by the same creator.

What possible relevance, or impact on our salvation could these numbers and strange combinations of numbers make?

Like the guy that discovers, 24 beers in a case, 24 hours in a day..... hmmmmm, coincidence?

The splendid wonder of His word...that's enough for me. I stand alone on the word of God, the BIBLE!

Don't even try to bring unearned glory to yourself.

No, actually you're not Sola Scriptura. You're extra-biblical revelation, signs, numerology, superstition &c. You don't stand alone on the Bible.

does the number 3 or 40 have any bible relevance? if you say No you need to learn a little more about the bible,

the way I see it is a lot of people want some kind of relevance before knowing God on different levels, very few people take leaps of faith, seek and you shall find doesn't mean the same for everybody, so before scoffering the poster just merely say I'm not into the numbers thing is all that is needed. but you know how people are they got to keep up that reputation as being part of the in crowd , hahahaha.....

144 or 144,000, hmmmmm is it a coincidence there's 1,440 minutes in a 24 hours?

Study the patterns for yourself and pray about. See what happens. My primary goal is to point them out and show that they exist. I hope others will look into it and share what they find.
