I'd disagree with you a bit here. Jesus's more complete instruction was to first remove the log from our own eye so we could see more clearly. He also said to judge with righteous judgment. Paul's continuing instruction was to rebuke the Corinthian Church for treating a the needed congregational judiciary so lightly and he correlated the lack of ability to judge with the lack of wisdom. We can see how Paul judged a sinful Christian in Corinth and judged that he should be put out of the congregation. He follows up on this in 2Cor. This follows the instruction of Jesus in Matt18 about the process of dealing with sin against one another. The Scripture so many use about 2 or more being assembled in His name is in the context of this judiciary process in the assembly and is legal language from the OT and Jesus says He'll be right there with those final judges in their decision.
I see this judgment issue among Christians as another example of us not knowing who we are in Christ and thereby defeating ourselves and what we're here for in Christ in Spirit. We have in us what is the seed of eternity and we've stunted our growth in unbelief and perpetual infancy.
Yes, there are warnings about judging and there is even a point where Paul speaks of not judging himself beyond a point and leaving it to Jesus Christ. But not judging at all is not Biblical in Christ. It'[s part of the reason for the free-for-all in and fall of many churches.
We have to make judgements every day about life . We are not to judge other Christian’s in any way look you have to do this too
“Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, And every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.”
Romans 14:4, 9-13 KJV
right ? You don’t ever have to give an account for any other soul but you and they can’t judge you either only the judge can
“And
he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
Acts 10:42 KJV
Notice Peter an apostle is saying this he’s not saying “ I’m your judge “ he’s saying Christ commanded us to preach that he is the judge .
The reason we don’t want to judge anyone else is here in the judges words
“
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For
with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
And
why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
Luke 6:36-38, 46 KJV
we need to accept that because of this notice Paul is saying this
“For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV
Brother I’m in no way telling you you’re wrong I’m telling you this is where I’m firmly planted I’m no man’s judge not a bad man or a worse man not a Christian of a Jew not a slave or free man I’m no ones judge
Im awaiting a sure court date to see the judge so when I go there I want to not be condemned not be judged guilty I want to be forgiven I want and need mercy
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:….
my faith is built upon his words o will judge me
