exactly what people need to do is focus on Jesus words. good post

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

whenever Jesus says " verily I say unto you" or " whoever hath ears to Hear let them Hear" its really important stuff this One is a repeat and support of the consistant message of the judgement and Jesus return. matthew 25, romans 2:5-11, this particular parable.... matthew 25:31-46.

matthew 13 ...Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

matt 24 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

its throughout the gospel and epistles really, said many different ways. ive found that the More we study the parables and teachings of Jesus, you then understand the epistles much clearer. always the things He teaches are repeatedly taught in the nt Good post
Before or after the 1000 year reign and the great tribulation?
When will this uprooting of the tares from the wheat happen?

Enow,

Do you agree with what is written in revelation 20

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

2 Thessalonians 2
in context, what is paul exorting the believers in CHRIST to do but to wait...that the coming of the Lord can't happen until the man of lawlessness is revealed

and the man of lawlessness can not be revealed until HE (that is, the HOLY SPIRIT) and with HIM, HIS BODY??? is taken out of the way

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and
by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Who is the ONE who holds all things back by HIS everyday GRACE upon all, (believer and unbeliever alike) when HE is taken out of the way...when HE (temporarily) hides HIS face from "Jacobs struggles, evil will have full reign with no one to hold it back

and those who did not believe the TRUTH, during this time, will seek "any other savior" who will offer a different type of "temporal healing" from the trouble that will come upon the earth in that day
when HE who holds all things back is taken out of the way"

Blessed the man who trusts in the lord and waits for HIM

Where in Thessalonians is this holder?
2 Thessalonians 2:5 – 8 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

Vs 5 — According to Acts 17, Paul was with the Thessalonians and he taught the believers. What Paul now writes in his letter to the Thessalonians was taught to them when he was with them.

Vs 6 — What is being restrained? Satan and the man of sin. We we do not see the man of sin (2 Thess 2:3) revealed (yet).

Vs 7 — While we do not yet see the man of sin revealed, we do see the mystery of lawlessness at work. The restrainer is the Holy Spirit and, at some point, the restrainer will be taken away. This does not mean that God will not be present when the man of sin is revealed. We know God will still be at work because we know some people will come to faith during the period of time the man is sin is revealed.

In The Expositer’s Bible Commentary Revised Edition, Robert L. Thomas, Andreas J. Köstenberger write that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit will terminate suddenly when the body of Christ is caught away; the ministry of the Holy Spirit will return to what it was during OT times; the Holy Spirit will no longer restrain evil as He does now through the believers. Just as He did during the time of Noah (Gen 6:3), God will no longer hold back the lawlessness of the wicked one.

(I paraphrased the above from the book as the book is under copyright).

Vs 8 — Ultimately, the Lord will consume the man of sin with the breath of His mouth and destroy [him] with the brightness of His coming. Hallelujah!!!

Yes, I know HE will never leave us comfortless

thstvis why I believe that when HE who holds all things back is taken out of the way, the only place those whom HE promised this to will be with HIM

It is zilch to do with that.

For the Jewish Antichrist to arise, a sovereign Jewish state is required. The prohibition is Roman suzerainty

To whom did God make that promise? What about those who reject God?

In OT times, God hid His face – see Deut 31:17-18; Deut 32:20; Is 59:2.

And please note, just because 2 Thess 2:7 indicates the Restrainer is taken out of the way there is no suggestion that He is not working in some other manner than the manner in which He works in our day and time ... just as He works in our day and time differently than He worked prior to Pentecost.

How do we know that the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit?

We know because God is in control of everything and nothing happens until HE determines it will happen. God restrains the hand of the man of sin until God determines the time He will no longer restrain ... then shall that wicked one be revealed (2 Thess 2:8).
