And my rebuttal to you is found in the words of jesus himself.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words will not."
"Not one jot or tittle will be removed untill all is fulfilled"
Jesus has not fulfilled all that is written by the prophets thus far nor will theses be fulfilled at the time of the great tribulation.
You my friend are at fault.
You cannot ignore this because it is the mission of Jesus himself as the redeemer of all things to fulfill all that is written.
Jesus comes back as the blessed hope not the angel of death.
It does not please God that any shall parish for it is written he had hoped to save all, that all would repent.
Jesus left this earth as flesh and bone and he will surly return the same for the angles have testified to this.
To say otherwise is to call God a liar and his prophets false.
There are no nation's in heaven let alone all the other things that your spiritual theology so falsely discribes.
There is a time when all will be passed away by fervent heat . When this happens the last of the prophecy will be fulfilled.
There will be no more death.

It's happening now. The "mountain of the Lord's house" is the house that Jesus is building.

Isaiah doesn't mean every single person on earth will go to it. He means gentiles from every nation will go to it. He's teaching us his ways. We're not learning war anymore,

I say unto you, Love your enemies Mt.5:44
Hi Hourneyman,

My post was in reply to Truth7t7's post saying that "all are destroyed" at the reveling of Messiah. My question was, "how are all destroyed if Isaiah 2 is to remain true?" Thus all are not instantly destroyed at the revealing of the Messiah. Yes, he will judge in fire (...lake of hire anyone?), but I'm pushing against this instantaneous moment that Truth7t7 is portraying. This happens during the millennium.

To your point regarding Isaiah 2 happening now; I beg to differ. From your perspective, I could also argue that the fire of judgment from the Messiah started during his ministry since Malachi AND John the Baptist AND Messiah spoke of the Messiah "bringing the fire".

Matthew 3:10-12
10 Even now the ax is lying at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

11 “I baptize you with[a] water for repentance, but one who s more powerful than I is coming after me; I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the granary; but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Luke 12:49
49 “I came to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!

...but we know that actual fire will occur, not just a spiritualized fire. Likewise, actual weapons will be dismantled by the nations as a result of the "Mountain of the Living God" being established above all mountains on the earth. Scripture defines "mountains" as "governments". So Isaiah 2:2-4 has not happened yet because the governments of the world are not dismantling weapons but continuing to build more, even smart weapons nowadays.

To be raised from death. To be made alive,

I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is Jn.5:25

this is life eternal Jn.17:3

ye have no life in you. Jn.6:53
Again, an actual resurrection of non-living people back to life is supposed to occur, not just a spiritualized resurrection to life through faith. This was the point I was making with my question. Truth7t7 said those who rule with the Messiah are "the dead 100% spiritual". Such a view nullifies the very hope that Paul and other NT writers looked forward to.

Most people, even if what others thought they perceived were indeed false, would simply apologize from a humility born of a love for Christ and for others. I don't see that coming from you.

Here's my understanding of the millennium.

The purpose of the Day of the Lord; The Millennium, is to make the nations of the world submit to the will of the Almighty and His Anointed while providing them with a final opportunity to accept the truth. It's to make them "bend the knee". There is no victory in simply destroying everyone, but in making every tongue confess that the Messiah is master.

1) the Beast & armies will be dealt with first at Armageddon (Revelation 19). This is to prove that no weapon man has formed will prosper.

2) Then the nations will be ruled with an iron rod, to break their wills, as His authority is distributed to the saints to govern regions/peoples with that same iron rule (Parable of the sower; Parable of the talents; Parable of the wise servant).

3) He will determine who are sheep and goats from among the nations (based on how they treated His brethren) and allow the sheep to enter into the Holy City, while the goats of the nations will be barred from entering, including many who thought they were followers ("there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth"; Matt 25:32-46).

4) It's also why the nations will get no rain and also will be subject to plagues if they don't come up to worship the King on His birthday (Feast of Tabernacles) each year (Zechariah 14). Life will be hard on the nations because their way of life will be over ("whoever will love their lives will lose it"; John 12:25)

5) During this time, saints will teach the nations how the Almighty is to be worshipped properly ("I will remove the iniquity of the land in 'one day'"; Zechariah 3; "a day is as a thousand years"), while the population of Israel grows ("I will gather you from among the nations, sprinkle clean water on you and cause you to multiply"; Ezekiel 37:21-28).

6) Then satan will be loosed when the 2nd resurrection of the unrighteous occurs (as he will have people to influence once again). Those alive will have a choice who they will side with: the Holy City or those who resurrect. A final, MASSIVE, army is gathered of EVERYONE who has ever lived who refuses to side with the Almighty and His people, in an attempt to take from them all they have regained during the millennium (Ezekiel 38-39; Revelation 20:7-8). The Gog & Magog war.

7) Fire then comes down from heaven and obliterates everyone and everything except those who sided with the Almighty. The former earth passes away (i.e. dissolves) giving way to the new earth as heaven descends. Only the righteous remain to join the Almighty's family.

8) The almighty is then all in all (1 Cor 15:20-28) [brackets mine].

20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him.

24 Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority, and power.

25 For He must reign [This is during the milennium] until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

26The last enemy to be destroyed is death [death is cast into the lake of fire AFTER Gog & Magog war]. For “God has put everything under His feet.” Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him.

28 And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.

20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

The Lord will then dissolve the heavens and earth by fire, the wicked are caught in this Lake of Fire, as the righteous enter the New Heavens, Earth, Jerusalem, Judgement Complete, Eternity Begins :)

Those seen below,The Souls, The Dead, arent living humans upon earth, they are dead and in the Lords spiritual realm, one day is a thousand years, not literal earthly time, simple.

The Non-Literal thousand years ends at the second coming, those souls and dead will take part in the "First Resurrection" at the second coming, receiving their glorified body, on the last day, simple

Revelation 20:4-5KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Do you believe in the resurrection of the dead? If so what does resurrection mean?
Yes I believe in the (Last Day) resurrection just as Jesus Christ taught

The Last Day Resurrection

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Last Day Resurrection, First Resurrection Unto Life, Blessed!

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation

Ah you're correct, I need to change the last two points. The 2nd resurrection is after Gog & Magog war.
There Is "One" Future Resurrection Of "All", This Takes Place On "The Last Day" At The Time Of "Final Judgement"

(First) The Resurrection To Life
(Second) The Resurrection To Damnation

(The Last Day Resurrection, Judgement)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

(The Last Day Resurrection)

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:23-24KJV
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

(The Last Day Judgement)

John 12:48KJV
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

I would claim the same, as you deny the very clear scripture presented before your eyes :)
Just so you know, it's not the scriptures I disagree with. It's your interpretation and your understanding of them is the focus of my disagreement. It is the enemies of Christ who cannot withstand His coming. They who have the mark of the beast, or worshipped his image, they will all be wiped out at His coming. He will consume them all who amass in that valley to destroy Jerusalem. His garment will be spattered with their blood.

Bottom line, it matters not at all that we disagree. This is a peripheral issue, mainly because no matter what we believe about those events in the future, the Lord will do His will, and the names written in that Book will determine who is saved, and who is not. That is what matters.

The Last Day Resurrection Is When The Immortal Body Is Received, Does That Below Look Living Or Dead To You?

1 Corinthians 15:42-44 & 51-54KJV

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put o54KJVn immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
