New Perceptive

1. Luther got Paul wrong?

Dear AnandHya, Kindly explain how Isaiah 9:6 and Galatians chapter 3 show that Luther did not get Saint Paul wrong! Just wondering! You quoted them on your page, so, why quote those passages in the context of Luther and (versus) Paul?
God bless you and keep you always and make the Light of His Love (and His Face/Countenance) to shine upon you, in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Now and ever and unto the ages of ages; Amen and Amen. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

Catholic and Orthodox Reactions: New Perspective on Paul" Wikipedia http:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Perspective_on_Paul#Catholic_and_Orthdoox_reactions
Catholic and Orthodox reactions

The new perspective has, by and large, been an internal debate among Protestant scholars. Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox writers have generally responded favorably to new perspective ideas,[citation needed] seeing both a greater commonality with their own beliefs and seeing strong similarities with the views of many of the early Church Fathers. Former Protestant and one-time adherent to the New Perspective, Taylor Marshall, published the first Catholic response to the New Perspective on Paul, entitled The Catholic Perspective on Paul (2010). Marshall draws out the continuity and discontinuities between the Protestant New Perspective and the traditional Catholic doctrines of the Council of Trent by emphasizing the doctrine of participation and the believer's union with Christ.[32] From this Catholic point of view, the New Perspective is seen as a step toward the progressive reality of human salvation in Christ. Moreover, passages in the works of many early Church Fathers show that new perspective-style interpretations were widely held among them.[33]

One of the many exceptions is the influential Augustine of Hippo. While most in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox schools would see him as espousing a view of grace and justification in keeping with this new perspective, Augustine is blamed by some for introducing incorrect ideas[citation needed] (some Orthodox would agree that Augustine erred on these ideas, and introduced novelties into the teachings of the Church Fathers[34]).

The increased importance new perspective writers have given to good works in salvation has created strong common ground with the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches. Historic Protestantism has never denied that there is a place for good and faithful works, but has always excluded them from justification and salvation, which Protestants argue is through faith alone, and in which good deeds are of no account, either within or without God's grace. This has, since the Reformation, been a line of distinction between Protestantism (both Reformed and Lutheran) and other Christian communions.

Many are just tapping on the surface of truth.
Man of God are needed to follow Jesus Christ instead of fleshly terrorist media mogul Israel, which is your test to overcome!
Brake the mental prison of political (judeo-christian) correctness!
Otherwise they are allowed to go ahead. For how long? Will america in the end will be the next jewish marxist melting pot?
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.

As for Martin Luther:(1483-1546)
grave words of Protestant reformer Martin Luther. Luther at first befriended the Jews but eventually, to his dismay, found out the horror that lies sunk within the Jewish mind. Luther reported that while Christians pray for and bless the Jews, they themselves harbor only the most despicable of intentions toward Gentiles. The Jews among us, said Luther, wish Gentiles and Christians the most abominable fate: “They steal and mutilate our children, poison our water, curse us, and thirst after our blood. They even call Jesus ‘the child of a whore.’
Texe Marrs

He wrote his last book :
On the Jews and Their Lies
when he was of age about sixty; so 3 years before he died.

This book is supposed to be anti-Semitic..
You may ask yourself if this is true or if it is all twisted by the jews and they
are not the alleged victims at all by their sanctified holocaust religion,
but rather the perpetrators since about xxxx years.
Three revolutions:
English Revolution Oliver Cromwell,
French Revolution Jacobin Frankists ,
Russian Revolution, Bolsheviks, party commissars, gulag inventors, executioners were almost all jews
led to the real holocaust of 100 million foremost Christians.

No not six million jews have died but over 100 million foremost Christians and other ethnics.
A blatant farce cause about 350000 jewish victims seems to be truth. Not to say how say died.
Nevertheless the jews are those who are getting all the political INDULGENCES from many nations
since decades. They have no loyalty to the nation they live in cause they always have two passports.
One fore the HOST where they establish their state in the foreign nation, one for jewish israel,
even if its still in a not ready phase called tikkun olam..

This just my opinion, what i believe after heavy investigation and trauma. They are nation wreckers !!
In the end it is nothing else what already Jesus told us in his confrontations against the pharisees and the jews.
They are the historical killing Christians from day one. All the jews?

OF CAUSE NOT! THERE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXCEPTIONS, AND ORDAINED BY GOD, LIKE THE PROPHETS, BUT WHOM THEY KILLED, LIKE HIS SON JESUS.

How come you attack them but not me? That's not fair! They don't deserve all the attention. :(
I don't know how he could miss you; you're one of the most staunch Calvinists I know :).

But back to the new perspective on Paul. If I remember right It's just another way for liberal mainline denominations to rationalize away the inconvenient parts of Paul's letters.

But is remarkable that they have real truth tellers in their own rows.
Like gershom sholem, israel shahak, jonathan kappner, henry makow or christopher jon bjerknes.
Which most of their colleagues and associates doesn't really want you (as non-jewish and/or christian) to read.

D.A. Carson, professor of theology at Trinity Theological School, has excellent teachings online about this. It's important to understand that N. T. Wright got a lot of his thinking from Dunn who got his from Sanders. Unfortunately, Sanders used faulty data in trying to prove that the first century Jewish leaders really believed that faith, not works would save them.
On another note, it's fascinating to see how many evangelicals, after reading Wright, become Roman Catholics. When Wright was asked about this phenomenon, he was perplexed and replied that he had no idea why this would happen. Really? Gee, I think I might know; how about all of you.

P.S. and yes, Riddlebarger is very good at refuting this stuff too.

Ada, your earlier post is too big to quote, but I wonder.

Is it possible that there is a Jewish Conspiracy behind the Jewish Conspiracy?

it ain't "the jews": its the TALMUD.

William E. Dannemeyer
U.S. Congressman, 1979-1992

On March 14, 2008, I, former Congressman Bill Dannemeyer, the author of the above article, received a letter sent Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, from Boruch Ellison, writing for the organization called, Jews and Hasidic Gentiles – United to Save America (JAHG – USA). The letter was dated and Postmarked March 10, 2008.

It was addressed to me as the Director of my Organization called “Americans for Voluntary School Prayer.” That name and its accompanying address is given on my website at www.takebackourrights.org

Accompanying the letter were several pages, obviously meant to intimidate me, containing names of well over a hundred Jewish rabbis, mostly from New York, who are members of, or support, this organization. The goal of the organization is to enforce the Noahide Laws on every Gentile, making them slaves under the “rule” of the Hasidic Jews, with the penalty of beheading for any violation of these Satanic-inspired Noahide Laws.

In the letter, there is no mention of my website article entitled “Now the U.S. Government Can Legally Kill Christians,” exposing the Jews and their treachery and fraud in getting the Noahide Laws surreptitiously passed by only FOUR Congressmen – and under false pretenses (Education Day!) - yet claiming the Resolution was passed by “Unanimous Consent. But it is obvious that the March 10 letter was in response, at least indirectly, to that article, as the only place the author of the letter could have found that particular address and the name of the organization was on that website.

Do you think there is any chance this group of Hasidic Jews, intent on enslaving ALL Gentiles under these ghastly Talmudic “laws,” could have missed this article that revealed their dastardly underhanded dealings?

The letter is a Set-up, in fact, it is Blackmail: “Either sign our petition condemning Palestinian ‘terrorism,’ or we will start a SMEAR Campaign against you.”

Please note that the letter arrived on Friday, March 14, 2008 – and an answer was arbitrarily demanded by the following Friday, March 21, 2008, or they would begin the SMEAR Campaign, telling the world that I, Bill Dannemeyer, had refused to “condemn terrorism.”

Essentially, they gave me approximately ONEDAYto answer their letter and get it in the mail, so it could be delivered back to them by March 21, the deadline that they were arbitrarily imposing on me. (A copy of my letter was also e-mailed to them on March 21, 2008.)

If I had been out of town for a few days, or had not promptly picked up the letter from my office address for some other reason, their arbitrary “deadline” would have passed without my even being aware of their letter, and they would have considered themselves “free and justified” to begin their libelous campaign against me.

But fortunately, their sinister plan for Blackmail was foiled.

Posted below are, 1) their letter to me, and, 2) my response. I think you will agree that my response needs no explanation.

Dear PNPSS
Jesus Christ is Jewish, the King of the Jews, the Jewish Messiah, so it is not charitable or Christian to blame the Jews for everything. The Bible, "Judgment must begin at the house of God (the Church)." Christians need to repent (Acts 2:38), to set a good example for the Jews. One day all Israel will be saved (Romans 11; cf. 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:4).
God save us. Of course the Jews alone were not the only ones who suffered in their Holocaust. Millions of Christians have been killed too.
In Erie PA Scott Harrington PS Of course individual Jews are responsible if they reject Christ. So is any Gentile who does that. By our sins, we have all sinned against Christ, and led Him to be crucified. Yet He gave Himself willingly to save us from our sins, so He calls us to be grateful for His gift of love, the Cross, so we believe in Him to be saved (John 3:16).

this issue has really far-reaching consequences: in a nutshell, the proponents of this New Perspective have to do away with core doctrines [of the Protestant Reformation, only, which is not true Christianity: Scott Harrington, Erie]
(naturally)...if anyone does listen, you'll be quite amused and/or shocked to discover what those doctrines are, and why this movement has taken hold.

you'll also recognize many patterns we hear 'round these parts regularly, coming from what seem unlikely sources...helpful in the building up of faith to see there really are just the same few ways the Gospel can be attacked, though astonishing to see how its done.

this isn't for everyone - they are academic lectures and as mentioned are fast-paced: but i was VERY blessed and learned much: lots of church history, the other denoms are covered, and he touches on trends in evangelicalism.

part of the overall message is a very comforting one for we Lutheran & Reformed: the reformers are vindicated yet again in their understanding of Paul's message..... in spite of the relentless propaganda campaigns, and this 'new' frontal assault.
