Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

This is an interesting little parable told by Yeshua. The word used to describe tares in Greek is darnel or false grain. The farmers in Israel also named this darnel "bastard seed". The interesting thing about darnel is that you cannot distinguish the darnel from the wheat when the plants are small. It will take an expert eye to distinguish between the two.

The other interesting fact about darnel is that you will find a poisonous fungus growing on the darnel. Eating this fungus will lead to drunkenness and blindness.

Now it becomes easier to identify the darnel from the wheat when the two produce seed. The wheat will start to bow down lower and lower because of the weight of the seed where the darnel will keep upright because the seed is light.

We are called by God to His Kingdom. When we receive the Holy Spirit, God’s seed (the covenant) will start to grow in us and the more seed we have the more we will bow down to the King of kings. If we are part of this false religion we will be stiff necked and upright but our seed will be useless. The poison growing on us will lead to spiritual blindness and spiritual drunkenness. Yeshua warned us in Revelation about the blindness of the church of Laodicea.

God gives us a choice and the period before the harvest is our time of grace. Just like God gave the people in Noah’s time a grace period we also received a grace period before the King will return. The choice is ours what seed will grow in us.

Romans 14:17-19
17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. 19So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

What I find interesting is the fact that God begins to move against the TARES first before GATHERING the wheat.....this jives with a 7th trump resurrection/change.......at the LAST TRUMP the dead in Christ shall rise and then we which are alive and remain...........!

Yeah just as cast forth branches are gathered by men (to be burned) also and speaks of the mystery of iniquity as well as the LORD leading forth the branches not abiding in Christ forth with workers of iniquity (seen at the last) as well.

Amen and I agree.........!

Like Paul said clearly.....two things must happen first....

1. A great apo-hystamie from the truth (I coined it-->the complete apostatization of humanity)
2. The man of SIN be revealed the SON of PERDITION

The body presence of Christ, THAT is to say our gathering together unto him SHALL NOT TAKE PLACE till the above two happen!

Which again would be in accord with a day when they shall not endure sound doctrine but shall "heap to themselves" (as branches cast forth from Christ) to the very men who would "gather them" in the role of these teachers according to their own lusts.

Since the doctrine of Christ is according to godliness.

It repeats the same patern in different ways.

I looked up darnel and found that it can cause:

1. Sleepiness, drowsiness - We are not to sleep like others 1 Thessalonians 5:5
2. Hypnotic episodes - not be turned by the words of men 2 Timothy 4:3
3. Convulsions - self discipline 1 Corinthians 9:27
4. Drunkenness, intoxication - be watchful 1 Peter 5:8 ,1 Thessalonians 5:5
5. Trembling do not be afraid or tremble at them, Deuteronomy 31:6, 2 Timothy 1:7
6. Inability to walk -walk in the Spirit Galatians 5:16-25
7.Vomiting - what was gained by evil will be given back Job 20:15
9. Stupification - don't be stupid be doers of the word, Proverbs 12:1,James 1:22
10. Dim-sightedness do not be blind but watch-Psalm 119:148

Here we see the gathering of the tares before the rapture:

Mt 24:38-42

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

With the parables of the Sower and the Seed in mind, it is a wonderful meditation to read in the law that we are never to plant two types of seed in the same field. I realize the one parable makes reference to tares being sowed by the enemy in the same field as did the Sower sow His good Seed.
