People believe that since the Holy Spirit came down in the beginning, and when they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, have automatically received the Holy Spirit at the time of repentance and water baptism. But their interpretation of the Bible, different beliefs, and the formation of new churches make them go against the Bible and this does not indicate that they have received Holy Spirit due to the fact the Holy Spirit teaches the truth and does not cause confusion but clarifies everything Jesus thought.

now when you look carefully at all the comments of everyone above, you will see that something is missing in the life of humans.

They know the laws that are why they try to defend it. But even if they defend it, that does not guaranty them to enter the kingdom of God. Instead, they make things worse for them and for others to enter the kingdom of God.

The Bible also did not prophesy many things like the we have Church organizations. Each group selectively like Baptist, Methodist, Wesleyan, Pentecostals all have sub groups within the group.
The Bible did not prophesy men would follow Creeds.
The Bible did not prophesy Hitler would murder 7 million Jews.
The Bible did not prophesy a lot of things that we can connect to the Bible itself.

That same verse used to claim Tongues has ended also claims knowledge will vanish.
When you look up things online, do you still learn?

So, if people are still gaining knowledge TODAY, why would you think Speaking in Tongues has ceased TODAY?
They are both mentioned in same verse.

No, I said those people involved in Azusa did not know what was going to happen.
They had no idea they would become one minded and God would be able to pour out His Spirit like He did in the Book of Acts.
What I did say was, man has tried to control God.

But the point I am making is you believe in the phrase Trinity because Tertullian proposed that term.
Just like you believe in Creeds because the Councils created Creeds.
But the same person for why you use the term Trinity, is the same person who also believed in Speaking in Tongues.
If you believe in the Trinity because of Tertullian and Creeds, why do you not believe in Speaking in Tongues like he did?
In fact, I have a list of several Church Fathers who claimed to Speak in Tongues themselves.
Dos the fact they Spoke in Tongues diminish them as Church Fathers to you?
Scholars would claim they were more intune with God than we are today. What if Speaking in Tongues made them more intune. Do you want to be more intune with God?
