You may think it is a man made Doctrine ----that is your right to think that ------but did it ever occur to you that just maybe you could be wrong -----

You are right about the world Rapture not appearing in the Scripture but the word CAUGHT UP--- is in the Scripture and appears a few times in scripture -----

Actually the Scriptures tell of 3 who were Caught UP by God ---2 were alive when God took them from this earth ----Enoch is one ---and Elijah is the other -----and then there was Jesus who was Caught up on a cloud in His Glorified body ---all were Raptured or Caught Up -----or Taken Up --or Went Up ----or Accented UP -----what ever words are used means they were Raptured -----

Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death: "He could not be found, because God had taken him away." For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God

2 Kings 2:9-11---Here you see Elijah already knew God was carrying him up before it happened -----

Easy-to-Read Version

9 After they crossed the river, Elijah said to Elisha, “What do you want me to do for you before God takes me away from you?”
Elisha said, “I ask you for a double share of your spirit on me.”
10 Elijah said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will happen. But if you don’t see me when I am taken from you, it will not happen.”

The Lord Takes Elijah Into Heaven
11 Elijah and Elisha were walking and talking together. Suddenly, some horses and a chariot came and separated Elijah from Elisha. The horses and the chariot were like fire. Then Elijah was carried up into heaven in a whirlwind.

Hebrew word ---To Take

Strong's Concordance
laqach: to take
seized , taken , took away, be taken away, carried up , caught up ' removed Elijah 2 Kings 2:9

Greek word for caught up

Strong's Concordance
harpazó: to seize, catch up, snatch away

used of divine power transferring a person marvellously and swiftly from one place to another, to snatch or catch away: Acts 8:39; passive, πρός τόν Θεόν, Revelation 12:5; followed by ἕως with the genitive of place, 2 Corinthians 12:2; εἰς τόν παράδεισον, 2 Corinthians 12:4; εἰς ἀέρα, 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Rapture comes from the Latin word Rapio

Isn't it amazing how many people are being taught to rapture or fly away to meet the Lord in the air, when in fact, He is touching down on earth at the Mt of Olives and will enter into the east gate of Jerusalem to begin his millennium reign. He's coming here to judge and meet us. No need for us to rapture or fly away.

You Wish ------just because you don't believe in the Rapture does NOT mean it will not happen and you had better hope your not left here when it does happen because right after the Rapture all Hell breaks out on this earth ---and believe me you will be regretting your unbelief in the Rapture -----

So good luck with your unbelief ---

-Nothing has to happen for the Rapture to take place as Jesus fulfilled the Rapture Prophecy when He Was Crucified and then was Resurrected in His Glorified Body and was---- raptured --caught up in the Cloud to Heaven ---All is in place for the Rapture to happen --it could be today --tomorrow ---next month ---next year etc ----so that is why --you should be Rapture Ready ----

We are presently in the Church age -----

Good
My first concern on the subject is that the word "rapture" isn't found anywhere in the new testament. It is a man made doctrine based on the mistranslation of I Thess 4:13-18. The subject is in verses 13-14. You are not to be ignorant concerning those that fell asleep (died) believing in Christ. If you believe Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Those that died in Jesus were raised with him and are now in heaven with God. He is not the God of the dead, but the living. 15- We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. Why? Because they have already risen. 16- For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Why? Because they are already there. 17- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. We which remain until the Lord's coming, at the last or 7th trump, will be gathered in the cloud of angels which will return with him. It doesn't mean a cloud in the sky, but a cloud of witnesses. We will meet him in the air, which is to say a spiritual body that we are all changed into at his coming. Air doesn't mean atmosphere, but the breath of life body that God breathed into Adam. I Cor 15:35-54 explains that we have two bodies, the flesh natural body and the spiritual body that we are changed into at the last Trump. 51,52-
I shew you a mystery, we shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of the eye, at the LAST TRUMP, for the trump shall sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible (because they are already there), and we (that remain) shall be changed (into that spiritual body). No one is going to fly away to escape the tribulation of Satan (son of perdition/antichrist), when he comes claiming to be God, II Thess 2:1-4. It is our job to stand against him and expose his lies, Mark 13:9-11. Don't be deceived by false doctrines. Study to show yourself approved and make the stand against the devil, Eph 6:11-17. May God give you eyes to see and understand.[/QUOTE. Good job . Lot of people use rapture as a security blanket. Ezekiel chapter 13, God hates the fly away doctrine. Well done!!.

Theirs some weak minded people who need a security blanket. The rapture theory is their blanket. Ephesians 6. Gospel armory on is only way past antichrist lies and deception. Its real sad some pastors, evangelists and others are teaching false doctrine and leading their congregations right into satan's camp. Some people are too chicken too make a stand for Jesus. Isaiah 2:19. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into caves of earth, for fear of the Lord, and for glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake terribly the earth. When the 7th trump sounds, when the majority see Jesus coming, they realize they were duped by antichrist. Christian people will be praying for mountains to fall on them. It's the shame that they cant bear. God's election wont Worship antichrist. Documentation romans chapter 11.

"shall be caught-up [/snatched / harpagēsometha - G726] together with them" is indeed a fact.

(that's "TO the meeting of the Lord IN THE AIR," as Scripture itself attests. I believe it!)

--"OUR episynagoges UNTO HIM" (there!)... no one else involved except "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" (it does not pertain to all other saints of all OTHER time periods: not to OT saints, not to Trib saints, not to MK saints)

The rapture has been debated to death here in the forum for yrs. I believe that it is true but not for all the church.
Based on what scripture says and the parable of the virgins it seems that it is for those who are filled with the Holy Spirit and are waiting and looking for the event that are taken.
Ive also looked in acts at the ascension of JESUS....what i found strange is that word ascension is not scriptural.
He did not ascend as thought by his own power but scriptures tell us he was taken.
Did research on the ascension word and the only bible that the word ascending was used was one that was deemed counterfeit because of many errors in 1917 the rewritten bible was produced for easy reading.
To ascend would be under ones power as to pilot a aircraft...to float higher...to go higher...
Scriptue says he (Jesus) was taken from us..?

Paul writes and tells us that before Jesus ascends he must first descend.
He also tells us that jesus was the first fruits.
Jesus as the high priest needed to ascend to the father to present himself. Thus we have the story of JESUS forbidding mary to touch him for he had not yet presented himself. Latter on we see that thomas was able to examine his wounds.
Therefore i beleive it is possible that the ascension paul talked about was the high preist duty Jesus needed to perform.
I believe there is a rapture so no need to argue the point. Paul tells us very clearly....pray that you are counted worthy to escape the wrath to come. Also ....we are not appointed to wrath.

There’s a gathering of the church to Christ. Whatever that is, that’s the rapture. The church on Earth will eventually be gathered to Him and Jesus will literally return to planet Earth’s atmosphere via descending down through the sky, on clouds, accompanied by angels.

And the Bible says everyone SHALL see him,
What a beautiful Joy could made everyone to look up to the sky at the same time?

Even the UFO fly in the sky at daytime, not everyone at the area SHALL look up to the sky.

SHALL not mean MUST, if I am right.

But what if everyone meet Jesus in heaven, that make sense,

Cuz everyone SHALL see him who dead for us and raised.

Catch up in the heaven and meet Jesus.

I rap the true.

STOP. You add more and more,so God will remove it.

Are you out of your mind? The flesh blood body cannot bear heaven.

He just show up himself and It's hanging in the sky, and it won't come down to ground. Do you want Jesus to say it again that Biden's belongs to Biden, Xijinping's belongs to Xijinping, God's belongs to God.

Do you expect a world government led by Jesus? And lead us to launch a world war III to overthrow the corrupt government in the world.

If you think so, is it different from the mistakes of those Jews?

This is what I think:

1 Corinthians 15:20-28
20But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:50,51
50I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—

1. Christ returns
2. The resurrection of the dead
3. The "changing" of those who are not dead
4. Christ reigns 1,000 years on Earth's surface
5. The end comes after Christ has destroyed all of the dominion, authority, and power of His enemies
6. After which point, the Son will be made subject to the One who put everything under Him in the first place.
7. God will be all in all.

Side question: Do you see a hierarchy here between the Father and Son in verse 27 and 28?

As a watcher or watchman, I kept a low profile for a long time, of crouse, when I saw Jesus Christ coming in the clounds, I truly understand that everything under his feet.
Clouds listen to him as he control his body, to me I I got down on my knees out of control, although I'm not used to kneeling to anyone.

I take it that you had a vision. Sounds amazing.

Stephen saw something like that in Acts 7.
