Futurists always deflect and run for cover when forced to explain verse, by verse. What was the wrath in Mt 3 that John was discussing?

Another stumbling block for the futurists is dis:

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, “I am; and YOU shall see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.”

Mark 14:63 Tearing his clothes, the high priest said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?

Jesus told the council that were there at Jesus' "trial" they would see him coming with the clouds of heaven.

So either Jesus lied or was wrong. I don't think so Tim....

Jesus was citing from Daniel 7 and was referring to his 'coming' to the throne of God.

Jesus said "earth"

Did he learn the earth was larger when he went to heaven?

Keep in mind,Johns gospel declares he is the creator
Jesus was using the language of His day. compare Romans 1.8. Men then spoke of the Roman empire and surrounding nations as 'the earth, world' because they thought that way.

They should understand that, the only event that happens after the millennium will be the great white throne judgment.

Agreed. But that is at the end of this age.

After that is the new heaven, new earth and new Jerusalem. In addition to this, in the letter to the church of Thyatira and to all who overcome, the promise is that those who overcome will rule over the nations with a rod of iron, which would have to be referring to the millennial period.
it means literally 'they will shepherd them with a rod of iron', indicating judgement. The rod of iron was for killing wild beasts. The parallel verse says He will smash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.,

So the high priest and council saw this did they?

And would that be going and not coming...........

It looks to me that you are saying Jesus didn't know whether he was coming or going...

Jesus seemed to know the difference:

John 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go (Greek - poreuomai) to the Father.

Coming - Greek "erchomai".
