Leave them to their fanciful interpretations. They'll find out soon enough when the son of man comes and brings an end to time.

And when the Rapture of the Bride comes, taking us to the Wedding of the LAMB. what you going to do then?

Your THEOLOGY becomes worthless.

OH, BEFORE IT FORGET.

ONCE AGAIN YOU FAIL TO ANSWER MY QUESTION.

I HAVE ASKED YOU THREE DIFFERENT TIME ON THREE DIFFERENT THREADS, AND ALL THREE TIMES YOU DISAPPEAR WITHOUT ANSWERING THIS MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION.

DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS IS BOTH GOD AND MAN?

With your failure to respond, I have to assume:

YOU ARE ONE WHO DENIES THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST.

lol, I'll re-word it in Acts 2 Peter quotes Joel 2:28 "and it shall come to pass AFTERWARD that I will ect." so something happened prior to Acts 2 what took place before Peter said this? Now in Acts 3:21 Peter saw that the restoration of all things had not yet happened and would in the future(years the locust had eaten). In 2Thessalonians 2:2 Paul says the day of the Lord had not yet come.

So what took place "prior to Acts 2"? Something happened (prior) to Acts 2:16, one is before the other is afterwards (Joel 2:28).

Its simply one and the same wonderful warning in regard to the up coming demonstration of a spiritual of poring out His Spirit on flesh ,The work not seen The actual unseen work is of the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world (the first six days he was working )

im convinced da only reason people spiritualize da 1000 years to da gospel age or something like that is bcuz they dont like Israel. as we who believe the bible know Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem and all the ot saints will be resurrected as well and Jesus will bring back the kingdom of Israel.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

u can see its a kingdom on earth. because "the kingdoms of THIS world". not heavenly reign as valiant claimed.

Maybe this will give you an idea of when God restored the kingdom to Israel.

Isaiah 49:1-6 KJV
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

[2] And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

[3] And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

[4] Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord , and my work with my God.

[5] And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord , and my God shall be my strength.

[6] And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

So yer giving up?

The soap box is all your soandso, enlighten us..

lol,"enlighten us" ...

In post #6712 I said that we were not ignoring you just waiting for someone with a reasonable explanation about what the mark actually was. In post #6721,pg.337 you said you wish you knew also so I thought "well at least he admits he don't know" and left off of it.

Then you post #6721 pg.337 and say "AFTER this is not specific" so I ask you more about the (before/ after part) so you could explain and in post 6727,pg.337 you said you don't even see why any of it would add to Joel 2;28.

But then in post #6749,pg.338 you narrow it right back down to "AFTER" as if you don't believe the thing you said in your prior post. So then I ask you about the before/after part(before in specific) and you act as if you don't have a clue what you said or what's being ask and pretend as though I am teaching you something instead of asking you something.

I suppose it is the thing to do now days to make fun of people and change the subject or as it seems it's become normal to make fun of people's names, questions ect. when put in a spot where you really don't know the answers. That's what I've found in the modern internet preacher world of today anyway.

But give up on who Locutus, God? There's no way I would give up on God. So I'll just keep on asking the things I do and wait for someone to actually come up with an answer (that seems reasonable, lol). So by now I can see that you are not the correct one to ask any of this and that when you are stumped you'll clown around change my name and re-word the way I ask instead of addressing the thing I ask(light humour and razzing don't bother me,don't get me wrong).

But in the end it's pretty basic it's pretty basic if you consider the times I ask you certain things(that's asking not teaching) so remember that I once said to you that I am "outside the camps"(and I still am) but you should also realize that seeing you cant come up with a man of sin/mark and how your treating the thing I'm asking you about the "before and after part" it would lead anyone to think that if you knew you would have not clowned around about it but instead "enlightened us" in it's regards. So maybe "give up on you" as a possible source of answers and moving on to someone else with more knowledge is what to do. So bare in mind that so far in the "war of camp's" (that I'm outside of) that based on your answers and approach you have proven the other camp light years ahead of yours.

So here is the box:

Explain to us you what you were waffling on about in post #6796......

You guys still obsessed with the "mark?" Study how "mark" was used in the past and you'll have your answer:

And the Lord said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.

If I sin, then You mark me, And will not acquit me of my iniquity.

Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

And the Lord said to me, “Son of man, mark well, see with your eyes and hear with your ears, all that I say to you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord and all its laws. Mark well who may enter the house and all who go out from the sanctuary.

Are You not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction.

For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Any questions?

It strikes me as though it is in reference to Jesus being born, anointed, crucified,in the grave, and resurrected because that is what had happened prior to Peter quoting from Joel. In Joel though prior to Joel 2:28(where Peter quotes) is a description of calamity/punishment ect. which if in reference to ad70 happened after Peter said that in Acts2 and not before.

The term "Day of the Lord" is in reference to "one of the days"(Luke 17:22) so,,, either when he came as promised or when he returns? But one of the days pertaining to Jesus from scripture and I notice that is the center of debate(he already came!,no he didn't,yes he did, nope!) back and forth lol.

In Joel 2:25 it says that the years the locust had eaten would be restored but in Acts 3:21 Peter says that he was in heaven(must) until the time of the restoration. The thing about that though is that he says this "after" he says what he does in Acts 2:16 but that(the restoration) happens before the "afterwards" in Joel.

Anyway it's just things that I had been wondering about for some while, "things about time" near, soon as in Revelation then after and before as in Acts and Joel. Jesus said they didn't understand the times of their visitation(Luke 19:44) but both the Jews and the soon to become Christians were watching for the Messiah. The sons of Issachar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribe_of_Issachar was given to know the "times" but then it was taken away. And it was not given to them to know the times and the seasons in Acts 1:7 .

There's a whole lot more the more I dug over the years in the bible but that would be a longer post, lol.

Let's reword John according to your philosophy:

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which will eventually take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John.
.
.
.
Rev 22:16
And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which will eventually take place.

Why didn't he word it this way if this it what he wanted his readers to understand?
And thank you for spending hours the other night rearranging things you thought was my philosophy and now grasping that I was asking you if you knew something. You should have took my advice and left it the way the bible said it like I said in post# 6735 but you defended a camp and never realized that I was fine with Soon or near. You don't offend me though I've gotten used to that from "the camps" in that anything I ask about and just not go with without a reasonable answer as to it's fulfilment is defended with furious scorn.

Ah ha, so sosandso, you've taken the words out of Peter's mouth and re-arranged Joel's prophecies by the look of it, claiming the "at hand" prophecies of Joel 1:15 and 2:1 came after by changing the sequence and replaced "afterward" with before..

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

This seems a bit thinned skinned..

To me the sad part is in that in your mind I was always on the other side so to speak and always needed to be approached as if in combat mode so you miss that most of my post end with question marks which is the opposite of equivocation.

In the Hebrew mindset, DAY can be a huge period of time.

For Example:

In the DAY of NOAH, would cover His whole lifespan.

In the Day of the Babylonians, would cover the entire period of time that they RULED as the MAJOR POWER on Earth.

Thus this expression, "the day of the Lord" could refer to the Entire Period HE became personally involved in what goes on here on Earth. From HIS birth clean through the End of HIS Millenial Reign, and perhaps even on into Eternity.

I agree with that...

Actually, not to sound haughty, but I know my Bible quite well. Lots of us disagree with each other on some of the interpretations. Being a bit of an historian helps me to understand past fulfillment. Titus fulfilled each of the criteria listed for the Man of Sin.

But if your world view is that everything is future and none of the NT writings were for those living in those times and instead belonged to a generation 20 centuries later, then you aren't going to see past fulfillment. This is called "bias." We all have inherent biases and they affect our decision making.
My world view is for the Kingdom of Christ. It has yet to get here. My Bias is GOD's WORD and His Bias against SIN and the constant Blasphemy of those that are 'adding to' or 'deleting from' to HIS WORD....The Holy Bible.

Fortunately for me, I see both. In Luke 21, Jesus tells those in the temple the people about the future but "BEFORE THAT" tells them what is and will be happening to them in the near future.

Of course the way you put it, it sounds good. WHY because for the most part you have decided that all prophecy ended in that era. Yet here we are in 2017 and there are Prophecies still unfulfilled....The Prophecy that Israel would return to their land was fulfilled in 1948 some 1500 - 2000 years after you and others claim everything stops.

If you are correct then SATAN WINS because the Glory of GOD is in the fulfillment of the Prophecies. BUT so far according to my calculations, the prophecies are 100% and counting and the GLORY of GOD is intact. The 'glory of man' is faltering into eternal XXXXXX? (you fill it in)

TITUS did not fill the criteria listed for the Man of Sin. The Antichrist....... Yeah, I know the History as well as most and better than some....TItus was in Daniel 9:27 but that was all.

If you want have a go with point for point, I am ready whenever you are!

However, I am sure it still NOT change any minds that are arranged like yours; (preterist, Idealist, replacement theology, covenant theology, etc.....) SO SAD!

im convinced da only reason people spiritualize da 1000 years to da gospel age or something like that is bcuz they dont like Israel. as we who believe the bible know Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem and all the ot saints will be resurrected as well and Jesus will bring back the kingdom of Israel.

And they do not like Israel because they lack the Holy Spirit in them. I can honestly can say that, because of something that comes with the Holy Spirit, and that is GOD's LOVE that the Holy Spirit pours into a born again believer's heart.

Romans 5:5 (CSBBible)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] This hope will not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Isaiah 5:7 (NCV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The vineyard belonging to the LORD All-Powerful is the nation of Israel; the garden that He loves is the people of Judah. He looked for justice, but there was only killing. He hoped for right living, but there were only cries of pain.

1 Kings 10:9 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] May Yahweh your God be praised! He delighted in you and put you on the throne of Israel, because of the LORD’s eternal love for Israel. He has made you king to carry out justice and righteousness.”

THEREFORE the lack of love for ISRAEL, and the People of Judah; is proof that YOU DO NOT HAVE GOD'S LOVE in your heart, and therefore they do not have the HOLY SPIRIT in their heart either.
