insults do not explain the word of God. You should stop or leave. you have not refuted 1cor chapters 12 through 14.

You and types like you have to use devil books to explain the word of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit? You don't even stay with your false understanding. You said it was (in reference to the pentecostal doctrine) started in the 1900s NOW you promote a book saying Voodoo during slavery? What a lie from the pit of hell. Try using the word of God ok. and use the word of God to prove your understanding not a book from a buffoon.
These are not insults. It is what is happening today called lying signs and wonders in scripture.

It all happened in its time. Today these are called lying signs and wonders.
NO, you call them that. If you have an issue with the fake and heretical address those individuals but do not assume all are in your bias understanding. You offer nothing of Biblical correction, you only have opinions and conjecture. Try returning to the word of Gods and use it to refute the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are not for today. You can't. That is why you use folklore. gossip, and unbiblical books of those with axes to grind.

Raise one person from the dead, or point to documentation of it happening. THEN start chirping about the gifts.

You need to prove what you say from scripture. Here is what Scripture says about the Holy Spirit in Acts. If you say more than this, you adding to scripture. View attachment 217325
Is this extensive diagram a map of the road to Damascus? I noticed that no scripture was provided to support the bubbles so I won't be going there.

I beg to differ:

The apostles and the 120 in the upper room clearly believed that Jesus was the resurrected Messiah prior to receiving the infilling of the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost.

Also the bystanders who Peter spoke with believed that Jesus was the Messiah but were told to repent, and be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of sin and they would receive the promised gift of the Holy Ghost.
I agree with him that faith is a fruit of the spirit but not about only believing the true Christ with the holy spirit as it is that bel
It couldn't be you just don't understand?
There is plenty I don't understand but it is not difficult to see what the scripture was saying, it specifically said to love and seek the gifts, that tongues when spoken to edify ones self is not understood by mean because it is spoken to God and by the spirit, it then said how tongues meant for the church requires an interpreter but because of your great dislaike having anything to do with the spiritual you purposely blind yourself to what it is saying.
When I gave you the scripture you cherry picked the edifying of ones self but failed to take into consideration the rest of the verse

spoken just like a true Pharisees. They asked the same thing of Jesus to perform. Jesus said only an adulterous and pervert generation seeks a sign. I gave you one some time ago and it made you less boastful I will provide it again for you because of those here will be blessed.

Read carefully. Take some time. It was the 12 and not the 120 who received the Baptism.

You are not speaking the truth you are speaking out of ignorance. Jesus never told Peter
" Raise one person from the dead, or point to documentation of it happening. THEN start chirping about the gifts. "

But the Pharisees mocked Jesus on the cross just like you are now.

So you cannot accept scripture alone in this matter? That's all that Acts says about it.

Wrong again, it says there was an outpouring what does the word outpouring mean? it is a flood an overflow. I don't understand your rationality, all you do is boast your truth refute anything said by others name call insult and don't even show any evidence for any of your so called truths.
You literally are resembling the Pharisee's in every way and like them you are blind to it.

David was a Prophet. To day's strange voices in the head bunch are not.
As I said, there is a great lack of teaching on these things in the church and many who are involved in highly pentecostal wild activities have no discernment at all. So I can understand your position. I’d prefer conservative to no discerning wildness where they think anything can be the holy spirit.

What scripture Dave. You didn't provide any. In all fairness, you don't accept scripture alone in the book of Revelation.

The word of God did You are wrong On:

  1. your understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not for today proven in 1cor chapter 12 -14
  2. You are wrong the gifts have ceased no scriptures you have provided to support that claim
  3. you are wrong in demanding a sign to prove with Jesus said would happen by faith. You have acted more like a Pharisees
  4. you are wrong for mocking and scoffing the gifts of the Holy Spirit
  5. you are wrong for having a bias that judges all under the actions of a few.
