I think the Kingdom of God is all around us. I think the universe he created belongs to him. I think people have gotten so used to living on the earth God lent them, they think it belongs to them.

I believe when Jesus returns in person, he will come as the sun, as a blazing inferno. The word of the Lord has always governed. I think people mistake the mercy of God for the nonexistence of God.

And Satan is bound by faith in Jesus.

You see all this watering down of the gospel, of God's kingdom, by the Amillennial proponents we begin to get the picture why another gospel had to evolve. They had to make the "good news" about the story of Christ instead of the message of Christ.

I dont understand why the amillenialists dont believe that Jesus will return in person to reign for 1000 years like it says in Revelation. Won't every eye see him?

Otherwise why would Jesus reveal that to John. JEsus will bring heaven down and there will be a new Jerusalem. Obviously the new jerusalem isnt here YET otherwise we could all just go there and visit. Isnt it being prepared though...? The reign of our dear Savior is thought of as a future event, but by the things he did, we can understand how our great Lord reigned over all during his ministry on earth.

Jesus commanded the force of nature. He commanded demons. I think it can be difficult to understand how Jesus wasn't ruling over mankind during his time on earth, when he obviously ruled forces greater than man. I think the answer is in how Jesus reigns.

He chose not to judge us, but to reign with meekness, overcoming evil with good. He defeated sin and death. He reigns in us the same way.. Does the idea of Jesus reigning now make sense to anyone else here?

Jesus is reigning for He is the King now, but He is not reigning over the world completely concerning the people, for we still have a choice between good and evil, and people still sin.

But nothing can happen, and no power can rule unless God allows it.

So what is the purpose of America seeing no nation can rule unless God allows it.

Which America is the worse nation that has ever existed, for she has the traits of Sodom and Gomorrah, and love money, and material things, which the love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, and allows all religions to be practiced there including satanism, and the occult, and the new age movement that will lead all people that do not love God to the beast kingdom.

But at the same time she is the best nation for she allows the Gospel to be preached like a big dog, and to other nations as well, and helps out many people concerning their welfare.

On the back of the dollar bill, announcing the conception of a new order of the ages, and out of many, one.

The purpose of America is to start the separation of those that love God, and those that do not love God, for she will entangle those that do not love God, but liberate those that love God for they can see the truth without obstruction on the government's part.

But that is because America allows all religions to be practiced in her country, so they do not hinder any religion.

But the powers that be, those that are in charge, believe the Bible is true, but they want to establish the new age movement interpretation of it in the world, as well as all religions interpreted the same way, which is based on the occult, and nature worship, and evolution, which they believe people are still evolving, and will one day be greater, and spiritual.

And Jesus is a good teacher in the evolutionary process and love, but not the final teacher, but the New Age Christ, and honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power.

So that is why America allows people to immigrate to their country to show they care, and to have religious and ethnic diversity to show the world that everyone can get along despite their differences, in hopes to bring the world together.

And why do you think they took prayer out of school, and started teaching evolution.

Fighting over the wall at the Mexican, American, border, no solution but going back and forth, no more border as they become one along with Canada.

Problem solved, and super nation number one of the world reorganized in to ten sections.

It will be international law when the nations come together that a man and a woman cannot marry for population reduction.

Feminism, pointing out men in media making them out to be dogs, and women are only interested in money, to try to drive a wedge between them, and people are born gay, transgender, in the hopes they will move in the direction of homosexuality, which is a good deterrent to people having children.

It will be international law to be a vegetarian for they are nature worshippers, which the ball is rolling there.

Talks of Middle East peace higher that any other time, which when they solve that the nations will then say Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth, which the devil wants all nations to be involved to come together to try to establish peace, for if even one nation allows the truth the world would not rebel against God, and He would never put them down, but all nations governments are together taking the hope away from the world by hindering the Gospel from being preached, and a personal God, and going against everybody that teaches contrary to the new age movement.

Babylon was even greater than America at one time, for she is referred to as gold, and rose on eagle's wings, and was the best of the Gentile kingdoms, and king Nebuchadnezzar proclaimed throughout his kingdom to acknowledge the God of Israel for He is the greatest of all the gods, and anybody that said anything against Him will be cut in pieces, and their house made a dunghill.

Where America says practice any religion you want, even satanism, God's enemy, and pursue money, and material things without limit, which neglects the poor and needy big time, where millions, and billions of dollars is not enough for them.

No nation, or kingdom, can rule unless God allows it, and the purpose of America is to separate those that love God from those that do not love God, and to bring the world together.

When the nations come together it will further separate those that love God from those that do not love God, and separate the Jews from the Gentiles.

Jesus is not reigning completely over the world for people are still being wicked, but He does rule for nothing can happen unless He allows it.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

But one day Jesus will completely rule over the world, the heathen, and they shall not sin for He will rule with a rod of iron.

You asked what is the purpose of america (the us) I dont know that america even rules that well.
Like every other country it wants to exalt itself. It is just like all the other nations that give power to the beast and their kings or rulers commit fornication with whore of Babylon. But thankfully there are a lot of believers in the US so its not all bad.

When Jesus returns, all will see him, but without faith, people can't see him now,

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Heb.12:14

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me Jn.14:19

It is here now, but it isn't completed until the last person enters by faith in Jesus. We "go there", we are in it by faith in Jesus.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels Heb.12:22

That Jesus is at the right hand of God and ruling now is not in question but not everyone on earth is believing in Him I mean thats obvious.

And upon his return, Jesus says,

But those mineenemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. Lk.19:27

It's because of passages like this, that "a thousand years" should be though of as God looks at time, not as man does.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2Pet.3:8

Yes brother, so God restraining himself from wiping us out doesn't mean he isn't reigning now.

What does the abuse Jesus suffered show us? Weakness? That he wasn't reigning? No. What it shows is proof that although sinners literally hated God, he patiently gives us time. That's powerful.

I don't think any believer should be waiting for Jesus to come and reign over us. Unbelievers don't see God ruling this world. According to Peter,some will say,

Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.2Pet.3:4

That text shows us people who say such things are wIting to be destroyed, so a current reign of Christ makes sense.

I believe he's saying, the redeemed now recognize by God taking "his power to himself" that God rules over all. He doesn't mean God is starting to reign now. He means we now see God has always reigned,

I don't know what most "amilenialists" believe. This is what I believe scripture teaches.

People are made alive (raised to life, resurrected in a spiritual way) when they believe in Jesus. Believers who have physically died and believers physically living when Christ returns in person will be changed simultaneously.

All unsaved are raised at this time to face the GWT judgment, which is the judgment seat of Christ.

Surprisingly, the Bible never says during the reign of the Messiah, every soul on earth will live in peace and righteousness. It does says believers will live in peace and righteousness. Btw, unbelievers use the same argument for why there is no God reigning over the world.

Where is Jesus reigning now?

Paul is teaching here about the current reign of Jesus. He puts his enemies (formerly us) under his feet by the gospel. This reign ends at the bodily resurrection,

Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, "Death has been swallowed up in victory." 1Cor.15:54
