In other words

You were proven wrong. And you cannot back your claims. So like most people. You run.

Then as a means of maintaining salvation.

All the truly redeemed obey. But the motivation isn't to stay saved. Rather, it is a product of the love of God being shed abroad in our hearts.
but i am not talking about that. i posted before this post what i am talking about.

the voice we hear,
when we plan on giving 5 bucks to the offering, but, feel like we should give 10.
this is God commanding us to give 10 bucks.
if we do not, that is quenching the Spirit of God.

so, listening to the Holy Spirit, and doing what the Holy Spirit commands...for all of our SAVED lives, is getting Commands and Obeying them.

so, why would the Lord's Prayer be any different?

It does not say confess daily in that passage either

He said Jesus said to repent daily. If that is his prove passage, he is in error

You wouldn't want to let what Jesus taught to get in the way of what you believe, would you?

Matthew 6:9-13
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Luke 11:1-4
And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Daily... it's part of the "daily bread" Jesus is speaking of...

It doesn't, but we are taught in the prayer to pray daily and it's part of the prayer. It is definitely implied.
We probably should confess more than just daily.
once again, confess and repent are two different words.

And He said “when you. Pray” He did not say pray this every day.

he also was against repetitive prayer.. so he did not say that exact prayer. he said pray LIKE THISA 9he used it as an example)

so obeying Jesus is the LAW?

what is the Reasoning to not obey, that is also a Law.

1 way or another, YOU, are following a LAW.
No

we follow the law of Love. To love one another and him,, And we seek after the things of the spirit, and by doing so we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

You focus to much on the law. focus on Christ.

i choose to Follow God's New Testament Commands
you, seem to follow man's reasons to not follow God's Commands, which is also a LAW.

this is the point i have been making all along.
There you go lying again

No one has made such a statement

i am always speaking about after we are Saved, not before.
But you say if we do not do it. We lose salvation.

Its the same difference wither we do it before or after

if we are doing it to be saved, we are teaching a works based gospel. we are under law not Grace.

You are confessing sins daily? Jimmy! What a life-style of sin you must be leading!!! I was under the impression
you stand staunchly against living such a life full of licentious sin which needs to be repented of continuously.

either we are obeying the Commands of the Holy Spirit every day + the Commands of Jesus
or
we are obeying the Doctrine that says we don't have to

both are LAWS.

the question is, which LAW, do you choose to Obey, because, you're obeying something.

and that something, that you obey, is Your real God you have chosen.

This is a good point. And I believe few people really understand the reality of walking in the Spirit. They are more concerned to live life according to the commandments, and in their own strength. And I believe what Jesus has provided for us goes far beyond what most people experience. But when someone quenches the Spirit by not doing as they are led, they do not lose their salvation, but lose the benefits of salvation until relationship is restored in confession.

What part of this confuses you???

You focus to much on the law. focus on Christ.

Do you deny... the Law of Christ that the New Testament teaches?

In the New Testament, many mentions of “the law” is actually referring to Law of Christ (aka the Law of Liberty) and is not talking about the old testament law. Christians are NOT called to keep or live under the old testament law, but we ARE called to live under the Law of Christ.

Ultimately this means we are called to abide In Christ which is living after the Spirit and not after the flesh, or to be spiritually minded and not carnally minded (see Romans 8). As we see in Romans 8, to be spiritually minded is life and peace but to be carnally minded is death which is separation from the Lord.

Galatians 6:2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:21
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

James 2:12
So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

James 1:25
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
*Free as in no longer being a slave to sin, as in stop doing sinful things!

2 Peter 1:4-10
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. (*Notice what Paul said about his own body in 1 Corinthians 9:27)

Colossians 3:6-10
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Those that do not put on the New Man and quit walking after the flesh, the wrath of God comes upon them for their disobedience because God is NOT mocked, if we sow to the flesh we shall of the flesh reap corruption (Gal 6:7,8)

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; Things end very badly for those that do not obey the gospel.

Romans 11:19-25
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Again

I chose to obey the law of Love. And to seek after the things of the spirit

I chose to love others and put their needs above mine

failure to do so is sin, and leads to other overt sins..

I do not need a law to tell me I have done wrong when we look to the truth.

We've been resurrected with Christ into freedom... old bondages broken and a freedom to do whatever we care to do. He asks to, in that freedom, follow Him and experience Life to the fullest.

Or go back to the yoke of sin.

if God say Pray the Lord's Prayer, daily

if man say's you don't have to

if you do what God says, then GOD, is your GOD

if you do as man says, then Man, is your god
God did not say it

He said

When you pray, Pray like this…

Luke 11:
Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our[a] Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
[c]Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
[d]But deliver us from the evil one.”

Matt 6
8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
[d]For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

He did not say pray daily, he did not say repent daily. He did not eve say confess daily.

if your going to say god says something, AT least say when God actually said11

God tells us to pray with out ceasing..

How often should we confess? anytime we are confronted with a sin. God lets us know when we sin. He even chastens us for it (if we are his children)

i am not discussing maintaining anything.
i am saying, why are we not obeying Jesus?
He said do these things.
so, why are we refusing to do them?

remember, my FIRST POST in this Thread, is all about Quenching the Spirit.
that is my focus for the entire Thread.
