I have never seen a branch, that does not have other branches coming off of it. Same with a vine. I love to garden, the main vine has branches and those branches have branches of their own. If those branches are not useful, I cut them off. But the branch coming from the vine is still intact and alive.
This is an excellent question, and very logical. So you have to ask yourself: what is God teaching in the passage?
So reading through John 15, what is God actually teaching in the passage? What's the subject or main point?
