My friend you are fine in that you consider something before you accept it. As we all should. But again how do you measure it? Is it by what you suppose should be said or by what the Spirit tells you is right? Again how does one discern evil from good except that the SAME Spirit testifies of it. This also is one of the gifts. But I tell you the truth, the same Spirit that was in Christ MUST be in you if you are to be called the child of God.

And there are many gifts but ONE Spirit. If the Lord has given you the gift of discernment then that is good, but no one can magnify gifts over the Lord Jesus. The truth is that Jesus Christ, even his own words will measure EVERY man according to his deeds. So no one is without excuse. The words of Jesus judge every man. You and I. So how do you measure a man?

No authority of man on earth can thwart the authority that comes from heaven.

May Jesus bless you.

He is what the word says:
Hebrews 5:13-14 For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

comment: when the day is here that its necessary to remind folks to test according to scripture and you respond by calling them bible worshippers...and make oversimplistic statements that falsly infer anothers heart or motive as if they dont live in the Spirit, or infer they dont even have the Spirit which is like calling them unsaved...do you expect to be credible or respected?

Deut.13:3-4

Many times what we consider jokes speak the truth of the intents of our hearts.[/quot

I totally agree with that, you call someone a bible worshipper who uses the bible as a guide, say obsurd and untrue statements. And my intent is to laugh at that, and let you know Im laughing at that. There is no hiding my intent here at all.

The inference doesn't come from my words but a person's own heart. Condemnation doesn't come from me but out of the heart. If you are not condemned no man can condemn you. If you are the heart will tell it, even the mouth will speak it.

May Jesus bless you.

19 Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise prophetic [l]utterances. 21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every [m]form of evil.

1 John 4

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Jeremiah 14:14
And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Matthew 7:15-20
New King James Version (NKJV)
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Titus 3:8-12
New King James Version (NKJV)
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. 10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned

2 Corinthians 8:3-5
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring us with much urgency that we would receive[a] the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 5 And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.

Nope just a response to Ramon, who apparently likes to indulge in whity spiritual sounding putdowns with little substance and dialogue...its not much of a forum when there are insults with a follow up statement that if its felt it must be condemnation due to your need of it.

NO! It was Jesus Christ that laid His life down for the church and the Holy Spirit reveals that to our hearts through the written word. Sinners are saved by believing upon the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood and who forgives and cleanses us from all sin. We are born of the Spirit and the incorruptible seed of God's word through the faith of the Son of God. It is the life of the Son that saves us and His blood that cleanses us. The Spirit is given to us as a Spirit of promise to indwell and seal us until the day of redemption. Jesus Christ is our Savior, He is our redeemer, He is our Deliverer and it is in Him that we trust. Jesus Christ has given us His righteousness, His salvation, His eternal life that is in Himself and of His Spirit and our faith is in Him and we live by the faith of the Son of God, who died and gave His life for us. The Holy Spirit reveals Christ in us and these precious truths that we have been given by the Lord.
amen Red.

It is the Spirit that draws one to the Lord. No other way. .
Hi Ramon:

John 6:44
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

I have never heard or read where Ramon has insulted anyone. That is not to say that some do not take offense. I have offended many with my words, but that has never been my intention, to offend or insult. Only to speak the truth in love.

Strange days we live in.

Lord, Jesus our savior, please, with the mercies of Your love, please reveal Yourself here, That You are God, that You have all authority, that You have received glory from the Father, that You are worthy of all praise. I ask You to make the light of Your love by Your Spirit to shine and burn so brightly that the whole world will be astonished, that the candle of Your Spirit be fanned into a flame that lights the entire world. For Your glory, in Your name,

please
It would be better to pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would raise up and send laborers into His harvest field that is white and ready. Then the Spirit has something to work with, someway to lead us into all the world to preach the gospel, to fill us with the love of God and convict the world of righteousness, sin and judgment. It is Christ's gospel, it is His word and He is the one that shed His blood for the sins of the whole world. The Spirit honors what belongs to the Son of God and would never reveal anything that would dishonor the Son in anyway or for any reason. The Son is in the Father and the Spirit does the will of the Father who is in the Son. When the Spirit honors the words of the Son, the Father is honored and glorified in the Son.

Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come , he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear , that shall he speak : and he will shew you things to come .

This is one of your favorite verses of the scriptures concerning the Spirit. You should have a very high esteem for the truth it reveals.

Ps 56:4,10

4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

Ps 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Ps 119 (the whole Psalm esteems the word of God in love, in judgment, in understanding and in cleansing)
