I think being proud of my accomplishments is also the sin of pride.
Hear me out: It's not so much we're happy with our accomplishments, which is fine. But the real problem is when we cross the line in pride because we don't know where that line is.
Most people cross that line without even knowing.
We will never confess a sin to God we didn't know we committed.

What is pride? Is pride always sin? If not, when does pride become sin?

Apparently the sin of pride is more common among women than men. How do you think the sin of pride is exhibited in women (and men)?

Pride is self-centeredness that is the essence of sin. Adam and Eve tried to lift themselves up to God's level by eating the forbidden fruit. Pride elevates us to think and do what WE think is right rather than what GOD thinks is right, as revealed in the Bible.
