Many people twist Shaul's words to their own destruction.

If you think Shaul taught against Yahweh's Law you are in this category.

Some people heard Shaul was teaching against Yahweh;s Law and Shaul and those around him meade it clear he did not teach this.

Young's Literal Translation

Acts 21:21 & 24, "and they are instructed concerning thee, that apostasy from Moses thou dost teach to all Jews among the nations, saying -- Not to circumcise the children, nor after the customs to walk." "these having taken, be purified with them, and be at expence with them, that they may shave the head, and all may know that the things of which they have been instructed concerning thee are nothing, but thou dost walk -- thyself also -- the law keeping."

Romans3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 7:25, "Thanks be to Yahweh, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of Yahweh, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin."

You see one who worships in Spirit and truth follows Yahweh's Law, not to be saved but because he is saved.

Romans 2:4-11, “Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.”

Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

Rom 7:25
I thank God -- through Jesus Christ our Lord; so then, I myself indeed with the mind do serve the law of God, and with the flesh, the law of sin.

Yeah you may have honestly misunderstood my post and if you did that is my fault for the way I posted it or just erased the verse after "YLT" to misrepresent. The verse posted AFTER:

Young's Literal Translation

Acts 21:21 & 24

Is indeed YLT...

Also the point of my post stands.

lets just stick with the requirements of the 10 commandments. Specifically the Sabbath

No cooking.

prepare before.
You are speaking about things you do not understand...

Exo 12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

You really ought to stop applying the traditions of men and look into God's Word to see what it really says.

I live in Upstate NY. I will kindle fires daily.
I addressed that. The kindling of fires is in the context of work. Work on the Tabernacle in the case of ex 35:2-3.

By the way, I find it interesting that you are denigrating the Sabbath Commandment. Who gave that Commandment and Who was the LORD who spoke to Israel?

I find it very interesting that the only Commandment that is ever attacked during these discussions is the Sabbath. No one ever discusses how terrible the seventh Commandment is, or the sixth, or the ninth, it is always the fourth.

why do live in the shadows?
we've all read God's word.

the NT gives us our instructions.

the sabbath isn't among them.

That's a false characterization. No one is attacking the sabbath.

The 4th commandment is set among the commandments as a separator between carnal and spiritual. The carnal mind just can't conceive of obedience to GOD while in violation of the letter. Christ is a stumbling stone to the carnal mind.

The spiritual mind sees and rests in GOD's holiness.

This doctrine is terrible, it takes Scriptual principles of righteousness and twists them for justification for transgression. This is Scriptually called "trampling the son of Yahweh underfoot."

Which other of the 10 Commandments can you physically disobey and yet actually be keeping them?

Spoken like a pharisee.

At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. Matthew 12:1-6

No.

Reaping is wrong on the Sabbath, the Messiah and His disciples did not reap they pick some food and ate it. The pharisees made their own Sabbath laws, to both make the Sabbath a burden and at the same time make loopholes to do their own will on that day.

Yahweh Sabbath is a holy appointment with Him, meant to be a blessing to mankind, me pointing out that you claim "keepin Law in Spirit" while "disobeying it" is licentiousness IMO.

The Sabbath was meant for righteousness and ceaseing from PERSONAL gain and desire. Only His will. It is Yahweh's will that we be fed among many other things.

Back to my question that you ignored:

Which other of the 10 Commandments can you physically disobey and yet actually be keeping them?

You miss Yahweh's true intent and then call me a pharisee for pointing it out.

"Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? "

The priests did Yahweh work on that day, so yes they worked on the Sabbath, but not their own will. The Sabbath is for the will of Yahweh only.

Isayah 58:13-14, "If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father- -for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."

I find it interesting that those who try to do away with the Sabbath by stating that it contains unbearable restrictions and regulations (not in the scripture, mind you) are the ones pointing the finger and accusing others of being Pharisees.

The fifth Commandment is the delimiter between Love God (the first four) and Love Neighbor (the last five). It applies to both our physical parents and our Heavenly Father and our mother the church.

Some of the children of Israel went out to collect manna on the sabbath and were condemned by GOD for doing so. They didn't even collect any manna (because there was none to collect), yet the disciples actually did gather grain and weren't condemned.

You need to go learn what "there is one greater than the temple here" and "the son of man of man is lord of the sabbath" mean.

The mana thing Yahweh gave them a direct Command.

So tell me this if Yahshua transgressed the Sabbath then He couldnt be the Passover Lamb, if He did not transgress the Sabbath then what He did was not sin. If He did transgress the Sabbath but you think "greater than" means its ok for Him ot do whatever and disobey Yahweh and it not sin then how did He fulfill the Law? What would be the point of being sinless if He didnt have to actually be subject to Yahweh's Law?

Please explain this to me so I may understand your view.

The pharisee falsely accused, they judged according to THEIR LAW, same as Mt 15 there is no REAL transgression.

Mattithyah 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Under pharisee law plucking grain was harvesting, rubbing chaff off the grain was threshing, and eating grain was grinding.

According to their law you would virtually have a hard time scratching your chin on the Sabbath...or turning the pages of the Scriptures...

You rightly reject the pharisees, yet I feel you measure transgression by their standard and use that to justify breaking the Law of Yahweh but still "keeping it in Spirit." Now I may be misunderstanding you, that is why I asked my previous question and then started typing this (without seeing your reply yet)...

Also I still ask for an answer to a question a few posts back:

Which other of the 10 Commandments can you physically disobey and yet actually be keeping them?

Their law was the law of Moses. Both of the OT verses referred to below by Jesus are in the law and psalms. They had nothing to do with traditions of the pharisees.

And even in your law it is written that the testimony of two men is true. John 8:17

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”*’? John 10:34

The law of Moses was for the first Adam, not the last Adam.

It isn't said that Jesus gathered grain; his disciples did. So the point is not moot.
