If you want to believe in a fake Jesus good luck to you but remember Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." John 14:6

Also remember the Father only became "Father" after the physical birth of Jesus.

Also remember going back to the foundation of the earth Jesus was the WORD and "THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US." Jesus existed from the foundation of the earth and Jesus is only his earthly name.

So who was Jesus before he was made flesh and dwelt among us?
Neither Christ, Peter, James, John, or Paul demanded such a belief, neither would nearly all of the Trinitarian mnisters from their pulpits, nor would well over 90% of churchgoers in Trinitarian churches

Tell
me PS, why are you demanding what the above do not/did not demand?
Do you know more than them?
Is your spiritual understanding greater than theirs?

Oh yes they did, they said we had to believe in Jesus and they told us who Jesus is.

Act 4:10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

This is the name that must be believed in PS

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life

You really believe don't you that eternal life hinges on a belief NOT STATED in the entire bible
Well that would not say much for the bible would it, but its great for theologians and scholars.

scholars and theologians came along, and Paul warned us of all of this shortly after the Apostles died, and made their demands that WERE NOT made by the Apostles or Christ

As we surely do agree that the belief required unto salvation has not changed since Christ died on the crosds in respect of who he is unto salvation, who is responsible for those Christians, for 300 years after Christ died on the cross only believing he was the sON OF GOD UNTO SALVATION(AND THERE WERE MANY)
My guess is, if you are right the church gets the blame For those people ending up in hell, for they never made official policy Christ is God until Nicea, so the EARLY church has blood on its hands doesn't it

I blame the problems of the early church on the heretics. We need to come away and look to Jesus in spirit and in truth.

But the early church must take the blame for people ending up in hell due to only believing Jesus was the Son of God, yes?
For they did not make official church policy Christ was God Himself until Nicea
And we both know the requirement of belief unto salvation as to who Christ is has never changed in God's eyes since Christ died on the cross
So do you agree(according to your belief) the early
church has blood on its hands and is responsible for countless people going to hell who simply believed Christ was the son of God?

believe
in the name of the Son of God = place their confidence in the authority given to the Son from God, that He is who He says He is and that He is able to do that which He was sent out to do. They who put their trust in Him will not be disappointed.

so that = I write these things to you.....so that

You may be right about the heretics in the early church, I am sure they have blood on their hands which is why my prayers are for you.

But why can you never answer any questions put to you PS?

Does the official church for the first 300 years after Christ died on the cross have blood on its hands for not making official church policy Christ was God Himself
Who is responsible for all the people before Nicea simply believing Christ was thE Son of God going to hell?

Them or the church for failing to make official policy who Christ must be believed to be unto salvation?

I have just answered you and said I blame the heretics. Why do you continually put up barriers?

Well as you are not answering clearly or concisely, I will have to guess what you are saying(if my conclusions are wrong plase correct me by plainly stating what you do believe)

You believe then that heretics were in charge of the early church, and therefore it is their fault that many, many people ended up in hell pre nicea who simply believed Christ was the Son of God, no more, because these heretics did not make official church poilicy Christ was God himself until 300 years after Christ died on the cross

They certainly infiltrated they early church and my hope is that you don't fall into the same trap.

Unless you reject their heresy I will need to go.

As you have not refuted what I have written I assume I have correctly written what you believe on this subject to be the truth

Wow, so according to you, a person is a heretic and can stand condemned for standing on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth, and heretics were in charge of the church for the first 300 years since its conception

That is not what I said.

If you stand on the whole of scripture including the teaching of the Lord Jesus and are obedient to all of it then your future in the presence of Jesus Christ in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, the firstborn (head) of every creature. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:13

You can hardly ever answer any questions put to you can you.

Just recite your faulty exegesis.

Well I do not believe we have a bible that requires great theological understandiong to know the requirment of belief unto salvation
Christ tells us that eternal life is knowing the Father, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent
John tells us if we believe Christ is the son of God, God lives in us and we in God

Unfortunately a disease has set in, and it did not take long for this disease to take root, it is the intellectual mind of man as opposed to spirit filled truth
For the Holy Spirit COULD NEVER contradict the words of Christ as to what eternal life hinged on believing

It is nearly always an internet demand that demands extra biblical demands for salvation, and even on the internet, only a few make these extra biblical demands, and it is by people who are wise in their own eyes and head theologists.
They are proud of their natural intellect/what they believe they can reason through hard work and study of themselves, for the natural intellect and Spirit fillled truth are opposed to each other
And never the twain shall meet

The only answers you hear are the ones which you think conform to your world-view.

All other answers you cannot hear...

How would you know?

Scripturally prove it.

Scripturally prove it.

Study up!

The above were your answers Bowman, I heard them

Re: Run from it brother...!

Jesus is God even in plain English scripture.
Then give me a plain scripture Bowman where it is stated a person must believe Christ is the one true God to inherit eternal life

I note you did not respond to the point of the post BTW

Complete ownership...

You cannot give me even one verse of scripture that states a person must believe Christ is God himself unto salvation, not one

Who is God?

Who is Savior?

Titus 2.13

προσδεχομενοι την μακαριαν ελπιδα και επιφανειαν της δοξης του μεγαλου θεου και σωτηρος ημων χριστου ιησου

prosdechomenoi tēn makarian elpida kai epiphaneian tēs doxēs tou megalou theou kai sōtēros hēmōn christou iēsou

Looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

2 Peter 1.1

σιμων πετρος δουλος και αποστολος ιησου χριστου τοις ισοτιμον ημιν λαχουσιν πιστιν εν δικαιοσυνη του θεου ημων και σωτηρος ιησου χριστου

simōn petros doulos kai apostolos iēsou christou tois isotimon hēmin lachousin pisten en dikaiosunē tou theou hēmōn kai sōtēros iēsou christou

Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:

Greek grammar mandates that Jesus is both God and Savior in the above verses.

Jesus is the God-man.

Jesus is the Savior-man.

Thus, when we come to the next example, we can easily see that God and Savior both apply to Jesus, as well.

1 Tim 2.3 - 5

For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to a full knowledge of Truth. For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Jesus is the God-man.

Jesus is the Savior-man.

Further, ‘Truth’ also applies to Jesus.
