You theologians and scholars are strange people, Christ said eternal life is knowing the father, the one true God, and Jesus Christ whom he sent. John said, if we believe jesus is the Son of God, God lives in us, and we in God
But you people are so wise you can usurp the words of Christ and John, while insisting we stand on scripture
The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise are futile
1Cor3:21
Probably the most widely known verse in the Book and no one has pulled it apart to find it's true meaning.
Jhn 3:10 KJV - Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Jhn 3:11 KJV - Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
Jhn 3:12 KJV - If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things?
Jhn 3:13 KJV - And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven,
[even] (separate from the afore) the
Son of man (humanity) which is in heaven. (The kingdom of Heaven) Mt 3:7, 4:17, 5:3, 10, etc. all of which refer to the Body.
Jhn 3:14 KJV - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man (humanity) be lifted up:
Jhn 3:15 KJV - That
whosoever believeth in him (humanity)
should not perish (enter into death), but have
eternal life.
Jhn 3:16 KJV - For God (the Father) so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jehovah), that
whosoever believeth in him (the Father) should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 KJV - For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 KJV - He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jhn 3:19 KJV - And this is the condemnation,
that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Hbr 2:9 KJV -
But we see Jesus, who was
made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
This is a warning. If we stop at the humanity, (as great as he is), we have stymied our growth and the development of our spirituality. Jehovah was not created lower than any other than the Father. We must learn of the truth of that Body and what it allows us to achieve.
