Have you considered what "the unity of the faith" actually IS? (It is a reflective question.)

The verses prior to it tell us things God has given us to help us get to this state, but do you know what it will look like? or How we will know when it is reached?

On the other hand, do you think we've already reached it? If so, when, and what made you think we've all come into this unity? What were the markers that let you know "we" had arrived?

And who is this "we all" that is mentioned as needing to be in this unity?

Reading letter to Ephesians its mostly talking about jewish believers and gentile believers becoming one in Jesus. Now before Jesus jews and gentiles were separate they didnt have anything in common, but theough Jesus they come to know God as their Father, so that means...they who believe are now all part of Gods family.

Even if we speak a different language, and have different customs and traditions, eat different foods, belong to different countries, wear different clothes and look different. Those surface differences dont matter, they just make life interesting. But underneath, in our hearts and souls we all have one thing in common...the love of God.

Just like the body Is fitly joined I mean all parts are working together,IE If the toe Is hurt then It affects the mind and whether big or small hurt,one hurt can affect something else even though one organ may be seen as a high functioning organ they all affect each other so It Is with the spiritual things.
