Didn't he let her go and never saw her again, though their son Menelech did come visit when he was older for a while
I don’t know, it’s been a while since I read Song of Solomon.

Son 5:10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

Song of Solomon says he was white with a healthy redish color.
Ruddy can also indicate a healthy glow :) Pink cheeks kind of thing :D

The interesting thing about Song of Solomon is that she is black.

Son 1:5 (KJV) I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

Abraham replied, "I said to myself, 'There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.' Besides, she really is my sister, the daughter of my father though not of my mother; and she became my wife." Genesis 20:11-12

Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; Genesis 16:1
All others in Abrams line mention their sons and other sons and daughters .. Terah, Abrams father only listed three sons and no other sons and daughters .. Abram said ''besides she really is my sister'', he had to coach Sarah to say it to save his skin from what's his name .. She seemed to not know what he was talking about at first .. Even Abraham had other sons and daughters listed after Ishmael, 6-7 sons in all including Ishmael and Isaac

I thank God that He never showed himself to anyone. He is so majestic, none can see Him and live. I think because our eyes would not be able to handle it.

Or maybe it's because we are so evil, His holiness and His perfection would consume us.
Amen.
The solution to this problem is not to substitute one race of Jesus for another or to experiment. But to just focus on the good news of salvation. And as you know, salvation has nothing to do with race. And if anyone wants to make it a race issue, then all you can do is pray for them. Shake the dust off your feet.
I won't change the images but I also can't stop others from doing that. I am curious.

So there is only one way to solve a problem?

And not only did He not show Himself to anyone, He said we must not make any image of Him.
That night the LORD appeared to him [Isaac] and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham." Genesis 26:24

There beside him stood the LORD and said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the
God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying."
Genesis 28:13

The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would
return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
Exodus 33:11

So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
Genesis 32:30

I think white is just another term for Caucasian because the verse goes on to say he was ruddy. I don’t know that Jews have a specific color but I do know that there are three basic races, caucasoid, negroid and mongoloid.
flesh & blood will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven how does this play into the idea ?

It doesn’t play into flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

I am a black woman who believes that Jesus died on the cross to save humanity from it's sinful state. but how can I convince a black person holding on to the image of Jesus being depicted as a white man?

Let us kindly engage in a manner that will bring glory to God.
We are not to think of Jesus as a human man, Jesus is not about the body He lived in while He was on earth.

Have you thought about that when God gave us the seven feasts to celebrate His plan of salvation, not one of the feasts celebrated the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem? It was man's idea to celebrate it with Christmas and they even named the feast with a name not given to us by God. God gave the Passover, celebrating that Christ gave His blood for us as the main celebration of salvation.

Maybe you should read what I said then you would understand Africa is also a place. As Asia is too a Continent. I have too many places on each of them. In my country, Jesus is not portrayed, HE is being betrayed.
I cannot speak for other continents. You said it's an association of which I agree. But we don't associate/relate with the white Jesus that is being portrayed in my country.

How is he being betrayed in your country ?

I don’t think we have the right to pick what color we want Jesus to be. He was the color that he was.

(Giving both since I am not sure which one you doubt :))
Oops missed the Gen 20;11-12 scripture .. Isaac was instructed to find a wife from among his kinsman and what's his name was aparently still at it . Same father but different mother my figuring is that Sarah was either a daughter of one of his uncles, ''Terah's brothers from the same father or he convinced her to count God as their common father .. I think kithra can mean cousin or sister , cousins are legal ..

1 Chronicles 1:17-27

The sons of Shem (Noah's son): Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud

Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.

Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.

Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug, Nahor, Terah and Abram (that is, Abraham).

Yeah, no female births listed. Typical. That does not mean they had no daughters.

Ishmael's mother was Egyptian. Sarah was not - she was Abraham's half sister.
We are talking about Abraham (not the mothers, since descent was aways through the fathers). Both groups are Semitic.

The Ishmaelites (Arabians, now Arabs) and the Israelites were related to each other through Abraham. Indeed God blessed Ishmael even though he was not the "child of promise": Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. (Gen 21:18)

Gen 11
11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:
15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:
17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:
19 And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:
21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.
22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:
23 And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:
25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.
26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
27 Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

You can talk about what YOU want and I will continue to make my point. Ishmael and Isaac had different MOTHERS. The son of the Egyptian mother spawned the Arabs through his offspring, and Sarah's grandson through the child of her own body, the child of promise ISAAC, through Jacob, gave birth to the 12 tribes of Israel - who brought forth the promised Messiah.

About Ishmael ~ "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and
everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."
Genesis 16:12
