up next: Multiverse Multiverse - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

which is the only (il)logical conclusion of the Big Bang and evolution.
so why not just jump forward to the ridiculous end and realize it's a mind-game.
I think the multiverse is only theoretical at this point, so I don't have much to say other than I'll keep watching the developments. By the way, the multiverse has absolutely NOTHING to do with evolution.

sorry - cop-out.
not good enough.
It's going to have to be good enough, because that's the way it is . . .

@ buckets

I understand that things adapt and evolve
If that is the whole Theory of Evolution fine so be it
If claiming that life evolved from a puddle of ooze that's crazy
The comments about Darwin being a fruit loop do have to do with evolution he's the first goof ball to think man evolved from apes

And yep science improves and gets some things right :) many actually

I guess I don't get the question
Things adapting doesn't disprove God created them

God and things evolving can coexist
The theory of Evolution shows how natural selection can improve populations of a species to better survival. Given enough time this can lead to a population being different enough to not be able to breed with another population of what was the same species. After all the gradual changes, the population is now something different.

Look at Ring Species: Ring species - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Great evidence for 'macroevolution' in the modern world.

But once again, as far as evolution saying anything about the beginning of life from a primordial soup -- it doesn't say anything. It's only concerned with what happens after that.

Your comments on Darwin are so biased and ad hominem that I can't take them seriously, sir. You cannot call Darwin or anyone else for that matter a "goofball" and expect to gain traction. I'm not revering Darwin as an idol or anything, I'm simply saying that it doesn't matter what Darwin said or thought or did . . . all that is irrelevant. The important thing is his work 'On the Origin of Species.' That's the only reason anyone cares about him. So focus attacks on his work and not him.

I think I've said this before but it may have been on another thread somewhere: You're right! -- god and evolution are compatible . . . did I say the opposite? . . .

@ dcontroversal

All I can say to the foolishness of Evolution (as means of all coming into existence) is the following.
1. If people want to believe they came from monkeys or some electrified pool of sludge of proteins then have a ball.
2. God "cut, formed and fashioned " man from the dirt of the ground and then breathed into his nostrils the breath of "lives" plural in Hebrew
3. Wisdom is justified of her children
4. No God, no accountability sums up what it is all about.
1.) -- Kinda misrepresenting the issue.
2.) -- You say evolution is foolish, then go to profess this?
3.) -- Okay? . . .
4.) -- Not in the slightest. Atheists are statistically more moral that theists, and I have just as many reasons to be accountable for my actions. (if not more) If the only reason you live a 'moral life' is because you're afraid of burning in hell or you want to appease your god/savior, then you need to get your priorities straight and start caring about your fellow human beings, sir.

He studied medicine, geology, and natural science and in fact received a well rounded scientific education, for a Victorian, which meant he was well qualified to conduct the work he did. He studied Natural Theology, as opposed to Revealed Theology, thus all of his educational emphasis was on the sciences.
..........as I stated, Darwin ONLY HELD ONE DEGREE FROM UNIVERSITY........and that came from the Cambridge School of Theology.............

Darwin....................

Christ's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge, officially comprising the Master and Fellows of the College as well as about 600 students.[SUP][1][/SUP] The student body divides into roughly 430 undergraduates and 170 postgraduates. The college was founded by Lady Margaret Beaufort in 1505, its charter granted on 1 May, and was the twelfth of the current colleges to be founded in its current form, though it had been previously founded as God's House in 1437.

This neglect of medical studies annoyed his father, who shrewdly sent him to Christ's College, Cambridge, for a Bachelor of Arts degree as the first step towards becoming an Anglican parson. As Darwin was unqualified for the Tripos, he joined the ordinary degree course in January 1828.[SUP][24][/SUP] He preferred riding and shooting to studying. His cousin William Darwin Fox introduced him to the popular craze for beetle collecting; Darwin pursued this zealously, getting some of his finds published in Stevens' Illustrations of British entomology. He became a close friend and follower of botany professor John Stevens Henslow and met other leading naturalists who saw scientific work as religious natural theology, becoming known to these dons as "the man who walks with Henslow". When his own exams drew near, Darwin focused on his studies and was delighted by the language and logic of William Paley's Evidences of Christianity.[SUP][25][/SUP] In his final examination in January 1831 Darwin did well, coming tenth out of 178 candidates for the ordinary degree.[SUP][26][/SUP]

What exactly do you think needs to explained away?
They will explain away that there has been no evolutionary change found in the fossils. That there are living examples of these fossils . The wasp I showed you, is a fossil with no change. These observances are at the university science level .

All the information for these fossils is public and online : they can be found from various sources online weather from Creationist to Evolutionist. You will find no change, and they ( bad science ) are having to change their story because of it.

The fact remains, God created. Nothing just happened... As far as the earth gos, yes I believe its around 4 billion years old. So I'm a christian that believes the earth is older then simple 6,000 years old. Why, because that is what the Bible says when carefully studied, and not read over.

Why are you attacking Darwin? Even if he didn't discover the process of evolution there are
plenty of scientists who would have taken his place. They didn't know anything about DNA
or genetics back then but now the results are in and evolution happened!

Prove it and why do we were clothes. You cant do either one. Prove evolution, its a theory and therefore an educated guess.

All i see is monkey skulls . You cant take a prehistoric monkey and call it a human. it just don't work that way. Its bad science. The rest of the chart is silly pictures put together to illustrate how lacking the theory is.

And the bible on the right, as long as it remains closed and they keep it that way , how can they know what it teaches ? It's closed, and there for the non sense flows & build on the left of that chart..

On a more serious note. Now that Obama has given planned parent hood 500 million a year and 95 percent of that money goes to killing babies. It comes into question, should I pay my taxes, knowing that I am working and supporting abortion through my tax dollars. Where do we as christians draw the line. What will God ask us in the day of judgement>
