There's going to be real problems facing anyone who wants to build anything on the Temple Mount...the current Dome of the Rock is as unstable as they come in this highly geologically unstable area.

But ever see the fights at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre?

The last time the structures on the Temple Mount collapsed they found the cedar timbers that King David himself provided... repurposed again.

The WHOLE area is tunneled heavily and unstable...they will first have to reform a foundation by removing all that's there into the bedrock itself...
That's going to take a lot of time as the Archeologist will want to examine every shovel full.

Of course every shovel full will cause even more arguments and fighting.

This isn't going to happen for a long time...and it will take even longer to perform the demolition...then if they can actually agree on a size, dimensions, and who gets to do what in about a hundred years after the impossible permission to obtain.

I am 71 years old, and I am STILL counting on making it in the RAPTURE.

I believe the TWO WITNESSES of Revelation, the primary part of their Ministry, is to Straighten out the JEWS.

I understand that a few people would like to believe that...it would be so convenient. Unfortunately the retaining walls built during Herod the Great's reign say otherwise.
Then there's the collapse of the structures there in which they discovered that the cedar beams that David provided Solomon were used again to support structures on the Temple Mount today. (Back in the '50's or '60's this happened...too many dates running about in my head and I can't remember)

I get it...a lot of people (especially the Jews) want the Temple built. They want the sacrificial system restored so their sins may be forgiven and their prayers heard in the Holy of Holies.

Jews have been in Israel and re-established for 70 years now. (Although under British Rule for part of that)

The Eastern Gate cemetery is going to be yet another issue. (Moslems didn't put it there for no reason)

There's a ton of history packed into every square foot of Jerusalem. Thousands of years on a very small patch of ground.
From old city jerusalem to every part of the place...all has some sort of history. You can't turn a shovel of dirt without uncovering an artifact. It's a wonder how they grow so many groceries there at all.

I see it the opposite, many want it to be, but there mere fact Jesus said not one stone will be left standing, and we have the wailing wall still standing, as well as many other forms of evidence prove otherwise.
again, you can try to read the evidence in humility, or sin as you are, the choice is yours

I want what the Bible says, the sacrifice of bull and goats never took away sin, so it will not change now, although I agree, the jews want that, but that is not in question here, what is in question is where was the origional temple built.

Jews have been in Israel and re-established for 70 years now. (Although under British Rule for part of that)

Yeah a lot of history, I wish I could go there but at my age and with the way the world is going I probably never will. The whole land is full of history and proofs of the word. I just got done watching part one of patterns of evidence the Red Sea crossing, it’s amazing how much we can see if we just open up. Much of the old historical thinking of where things are and where they happened are being questioned, because when people seek for proof they find Nobe. It got so bad people mocked the Bible because they could not find proof where they though they should, only to find out they were looking in the wrong place

examples are the Red Sea crossing, the mountain of God, and the real Temple Mount, I really hope you listen to some of the video evidence you will see, the temple is not the at the Mount where the dome is, thatbis the old fortress, witness by Josephus and other historians, the place where Paul was rescued from a mob and taken up.

Brother VCO, any place that has had bedrock removed cannot be mount Zion because the word of God says that it "cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."

HEROD invited to Romans to keep PEACE, and BUILT THE FORTRESS ANTONIA FOR THE ROMANS.

READ ALL THAT I WROTE and ALL VIDEOS, or go elsewhere, or start your OWN THREAD.

Mt. Moriah, was the NAME OF THE ENTIRE RIDGE, from north of the Dome of the Rock, all the way south Past the Siloam. Mt. ZION was the Central Flat Top HILL, PERFECT FOR THE THRESHING FLOOR, that King David bought from Ornan the Jebusite. ANCIENT JERUSALEM northern WALL started at LEAST 400-600 feet further South, than Modern Jerusalem Southern wall. Topographical Maps show there IS NO LEVEL ENOUGH BEDROCK to have a LARGE ENOUGH Threshing Floor to house the TEMPLE COMPLEX on anything CLOSE to Dome of the ROCK. This is CITY on the Southern Slope Mt. Moriah, at the time of Solomon, NOTHING WAS ON THE HIGH GROUND WHY ? ? ?
NO WATER SUPPLY WAS ON THE HIGH GROUND.

ANCIENT JERUSALEM,
Started 400-600 FEET South of the Modern City of JERUSALEM's Southern WALL.

Post #2,319 has a TOPOGRAPHICAL MAP I was referring to.

Quote:

Now as to the tower of Antonia, it was situated at the corner of two cloisters of the court of the temple; of that on the west, and that on the north; it was erected upon a rock of fifty cubits in height, and was on a great precipice; it was the work of king Herod, wherein he demonstrated his natural magnanimity. In the first place, the rock itself was covered over with smooth pieces of stone, from its foundation, both for ornament, and that any one who would either try to get up or to go down it might not be able to hold his feet upon it. Next to this, and before you come to the edifice of the tower itself, there was a wall three cubits high; but within that wall all the space of the tower of Antonia itself was built upon, to the height of forty cubits. The inward parts had the largeness and form of a palace, it being parted into all kinds of rooms and other conveniences, such as courts, and places for bathing, and broad spaces for camps; insomuch that, by having all conveniences that cities wanted, it might seem to be composed of several cities, but by its magnificence it seemed a palace. And as the entire structure resembled that of a tower, it contained also four other distinct towers at its four corners; whereof the others were but fifty cubits high; whereas that which lay upon the southeast corner was seventy cubits high, that from thence the whole temple might be viewed; but on the corner where it joined to the two cloisters of the temple, it had passages down to them both, through which the guard (for there always lay in this tower a Roman legion) went several ways among the cloisters, with their arms, on the Jewish festivals, in order to watch the people, that they might not there attempt to make any innovations; for the temple was a fortress that guarded the city, as was the tower of Antonia a guard to the temple; and in that tower were the guards of those three. There was also a peculiar fortress belonging to the upper city, which was Herod's palace; but for the hill Bezetha, it was divided from the tower Antonia, as we have already told you; and as that hill on which the tower of Antonia stood was the highest of these three, so did it adjoin to the new city, and was the only place that hindered the sight of the temple on the north. And this shall suffice at present to have spoken about the city and the walls about it, because I have proposed to myself to make a more accurate description of it elsewhere.

You Do Know the KJV 1611, was Paraphrase from at least 5 earlier English Version, with KNOWN ERRORS and some unknown ones,
don't you ? ? ? It is in the Original 1611 Preface to the KJV.

Psalm 125:1-2 (HCSB)
1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be shaken; it remains forever.
2 Jerusalem—the mountains surround her. And the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forever.

You read into that verse what it DID NOT SAY. It will not have a earthquake, it remains solid forever.

1611476666652.png That 1857 Photo there NOTHING LEFT of Ancient Jerusalem, which had it's north most wall located 400-600 hundred FEET South of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, verified by JOSEPHUS, the Jewish Historian at the time of JESUS.

LOOK AT THE NEXT VERSE. MORE PROOF Ancient Jerusalem WAS NOT ON THE HIGH GROUND, and that Mt. Moriah was the Name of the RIDGE, and not a single Peak.

I can tell You did Not read what I wrote or just skimmed over it, nor the Video's I posted.

The Romans after 70 AD, TORE DOWN EVERY Jewish BUILDING, to where NO STONE WOULD STAND ON ANOTHER.

Luke 21:6 (HCSB)
6 These things that you see—the days will come when not one stone will be left on another that will not be thrown down!”

So the ROMANS RENAMED THE CITY, and BUILD a ROMAN Style of CITY, called: Aelia Capitolina

QUOTE:
Wikipedia:
What is today known as the "Old City" was laid out by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century, when he began to rebuild Jerusalem as a pagan city. In 130, Hadrian visited the ruins of Jerusalem remaining after the First Jewish-Roman War of 66–73. He rebuilt the city, renaming it Aelia Capitolina in 135 CE. Hadrian placed the city's main Roman Forum at the junction of the main Cardo and Decumanus, now the location of the (smaller) Muristan.
:End QUOTE

Then to twist the knife even further, the ROMAN Built a TEMPLE TO JUPITER on top of the REAL Temple Mount.

QUOTE:
https://www.ritmeyer.com/2014/12/02/the-temple-mount-during-the-roman-period/
A sanctuary to Jupiter may have been erected on the Temple Mount. Some historical sources indicate that during this Roman period when Jerusalem was called Aelia Capitolina, a sanctuary to Jupiter was erected on the Temple Mount.
:END QUOTE.

So Prince Simon bar Kokhba mounted a REBELLION in 132 AD. KICKED THE ROMANS Tenth Legion OUT OF THE COUNTRY. Started planning to rebuild the THIRD TEMPLE, but FIRST, you had to DESTROY THE TEMPLE to JUPITER, then REMOVED the DIFILED Bedrock that the Temple to Jupiter sat on. And about that time that Prep-work was DONE, the Romans CAME BACK IN FORCE with 10 or 12 Legions.

In 135 AD, Prince Simon was KILLED in battle. Then the ROMANS booted all the JEWS OUT of the Country, and they were in exile for nearly a 1000 YEARS.

In 1212 AD, the Sanhedrin reconvened, and because nothing was Recognizable, proceeded to VOTE on where everything was LOCATED.
TEMPLE MOUNT - They Voted WRONG.
Mt. ZION - They Voted WRONG.

HERE is HOW wrong you theory actually IS.

The TEMPLE on Mt. ZION was built on A THRESHING FLOOR OF ORNAN the JEBUSITE, that King DAVID Bought from him.

1 Chronicles 21:15-30 (ASV)
15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was about to destroy, Jehovah beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the destroying angel, It is enough; now stay thy hand. And the angel of Jehovah was standing by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
16 And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of Jehovah standing between earth and heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
17 And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done very wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? let thy hand, I pray thee, O Jehovah my God, be against me, and against my father's house; but not against thy people, that they should be plagued.
18 Then the angel of Jehovah commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and rear an altar unto Jehovah in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
19 And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spake in the name of Jehovah.
20 And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons that were with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.
21 And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshing-floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.
22 Then David said to Ornan, Give me the place of this threshing-floor, that I may build thereon an altar unto Jehovah: for the full price shalt thou give it me, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
23 And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen for burnt-offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meal-offering; I give it all.
24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for Jehovah, nor offer a burnt-offering without cost.
25 So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight. {That tells any farmer, and I was raised on a farm, that Threshing Floor, had to have been LARGE, and on BEDROCK, the Best Floor you can buy for a Threshing Floor, is one that is HEWN down into BEDROCK.}
26 And David built there an altar unto Jehovah, and offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, and called upon Jehovah; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt-offering.
27 And Jehovah commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.
28 At that time, when David saw that Jehovah had answered him in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.
29 For the tabernacle of Jehovah, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt-offering, were at that time in the high place at Gibeon.
30 But David could not go before it to inquire of God; for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of Jehovah.

Here is an example of THAT KIND OF THRESHING FLOOR, only ORNAN's was MUCH LARGER, with man made storage rooms on the side.

Here is where a BEDROCK BASE is the BEST. The is an antique Threshing Floor, and NOTICE there is very little weeds Growing in it, and FEW CRACKS in the FLOOR. IT WAS MADE TO LAST Generations. Ornan's was Much Larger. You see, that dug down and scraped the Bedrock Smooth. So there GOES your Theory that about the FLOOR.

One more verse:

2 Chronicles 3:1 (HCSB)
1 Then Solomon began to build the LORD’s temple in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah {the Ridge, specifically on Mt. ZION,} where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the site David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Sledge Hammers have been around for a VERY LONG TIME. All you need to do is make a bunch of holes in ROCK, and THEN BEAT it with a Sledge Hammers cracking it between holes.

YES, that would take a very long time to complete, but that is what sons are for, right?

1 Chronicles 21:20 (ASV)
20 And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons that were with him hid themselves.
Now Ornan was threshing wheat.

THAT is why GOD chose to NUMBER THE SONS, so that we would KNOW, he had the man power to make that large Threshing Floor as well made as humanly possible.

A new Discovery in the drainage tunnel, related to Temple being in the City of David. I wonder when they will put 2 + 2 together to come up with the TEMPLE has to be next to the King David's Palace.

Your thinking would be applicable to agreements between Israel and Islamist countries up until a few month ago when it all came together with 4 countries...in a very short period of time.

God works in mysterious ways...at times. I am always restrained in concluding in what I might think is unlikely when it comes to God's plans.
Just a thought.
