God did not do this.jpg

This is not what God would do. This sickens me as I hope it sickens everyone in this room. Jesus said he came not to judge, but to Save, these people needed saved, just like the rest of us did, It is kind of hard to save someone who is dead. God did not give people the right to murder in his name, nor did he sent the murderer.

To these people at this church.. How dare you, Who died and made you Judge? Can't you even see the plank in your won eye?

They came to my city and picketed an elementary school that had an openly gay child in it.. Alot of local pastors stood in opposition to this modern day pharisee group. Lets as children of God stand against this evil work in the name of our Holy and All Loving God.. Lets not let them smear his name..

This is not gonna sound very nice but someday God is gonna "send a shooter" to take care of that group of hateful terrible people. It ain't gonna be me cuz I'm not the murdering type but honestly, it wouldn't make me all that sad with this group and one could honestly argue that they actually deserved it. Is it bad what I just said? Lol

This OP is the perfect example of religion. The sad thing is that there are so many ways this exact same spirit manifests itself in modern Christianity - they are just not as blatant but equally deadly and anti-Christ in beliefs.

But the Lord is changing all of that! We overwhelmingly conquer in Christ!

If this is a "church", my house is a fire station! These people are not led by the Spirit. These are freaks! I've ridden on a few missions with the PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) to keep these nut jobs away from funerals of our servicemen.

As a retired service man, I thank you for your service to my fallen comrades..

These people make me sick, and all in the name of God.

The sad part. is most of them are fooled by ther leader into thinking they are doing Gods will.. and are blinded to the truth, maybe even out of fear..

I certainly don't feel a kinship with that group of "Christians" ...

They seem to be misrepresenting, in word and deed, all that I have learned from God.

To be quite honest, I often feel the same way when I come to this discussion board.

Amen sis.. But look at the history of mankind,, We keep doing the same things over an dover, I guess they think this time it will turn out different than all the rest?

Oh wait,, The jewish version of westboro crucified my Lord..

Sadly these people would picket Christ, And say God sent rome to crucify him. God even grew the very tree for his punishment..

My service was nothing compared to the service you and so many others have provided to all of us who take it for granted much of the time. No need to thank me, I thank you!

I hope they end up on some watchlist. In my mind, they are potential terrorists ... maybe they will decide to bring "justice" some day without waiting for others to do it.

I think we need to be careful with the way we view people such as this. Whether it's religious extremism or racial or any other type. At the end of the day they are sinners, just like everyone else here. Their sins may be more public than ours, but because we hide our sins doesn't make us better or less sinful than this group.
While i am absolutely 100% against the message they teach, we need to stop and ask ourselves what if God had the mentality we have. Paul was a hateful religious nut who did more than celebrate death, but went on a crusade to kill and murder every Christian he could find. If the attitude that is reflected in this post (and i'm not just speaking to Scrpitureplz, but anyone who would share a similar sentiment) were aimed at Paul (Saul) then where would we be today?
People like this, that do evil, even in the name of God, are just lost sinners with no guidance. Same as we all were at some point in our lives. While they may be horribly misguided, there is also a zealousness and boldness they have that often lacks in the actual church. While the church is sitting online, behind their keyboards, talking crap about other people and how horrible they are, these people are out speaking boldly, and in public, about what they think God is about and willing to face the persecution that could follow.
Imagine if we took their active, bold spirit and mixed it with the truth of the real gospel, what kind of influence could be had. Instead of sitting in our chairs talking about what horrible people others are. Because without God's forgiveness you are just as equally sinful as the Westboro people. You are no less deserving of hell than they are. None of us are any better without God's gift of salvation.

You should get educated on who you are talking about. I don't think you are. Otherwise you would have the same "attitude".

Wow, kind of pompous aren't you? I'm well aware of who i am talking about. But, as i said, Paul was going for genocide, not just protesting. Yet it was Paul, who was Way worse than any Westboro cultist holding a sign, that went on to write more of the NT than any other writer. So i would like to hear you respond specifically to the distinction between Saul, the religious murderer vs the religious Westboro sign holders. And tell me how Westboro is worse than Saul was.

And, please tell me, are the sins you've committed any less deserving of hell than theirs? Take away Christs blood and tell me what makes you any more righteous in God's eyes than any one of them? Or could it be that you are using human standards, and setting God's standards aside to justify having a hateful attitude?

I love the irony that you are spewing venom at a group of people that you are accusing of spewing venom. And feeling justified in doing so, from a Godly perspective. So what makes you any different from them now, going by attitudes and ways of viewing people?

I'd love to see you actually respond to the things stated, and skip the petty false witness and insult that you responded with in your last post. If you are incapable of giving honest, thought out answers, and only seek to continue speaking rudely to someone who never said a rude thing to you, then save it. I won't waste my time on it.

No. It's not. I don't know how people can be so confused by the MESSAGE of GOD'S LONG-SUFFERING MERCY, GRACE, and PATIENCE...and turn around and misrepresent GOD'S LONG-SUFFERING MERCY, GRACE and PATIENCE.

Rather, they should be cut to the heart by the atrocities and pray that GOD open the eyes of all men that they may come to the TRUTH and the KNOWLEDGE of THE SON....

And they also should be prayed for that GOD might open THEIR eyes since they have forgotten the height from which they themselves had fallen...
