i am the field - He gave everything to purchase me

He sees something in me, that i can't even find most of the time

so i call Him my Beloved
he called you his beloved son first though !!

“We love him, because he first loved us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you just heard it and believed ! And still you persevere in faith even when you can’t find the worth in yourself like he does .

your faith is sometimes like a cloudy day , you see the clouds and gray , but you know for sure the son is shining just beyond and the clouds will part tomorrow and the light shines out the shadow

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Solid faith is in your words brother and it’s not in you but it’s where it should be God bless , keep and increase you beyond that which he has already done

Disagreeing is one thing. Attempting to wound and damage the conscience of another person is a completely different game. When we berate and belittle, we are trying to [hurt] and [beat] someone into changing to become a better person. That . . . is insanity.

It's like saying, "Here. Let me degrade and belittle you. And when all is settled and done, you'll change and become the person I want you to be. A person just like me."

That is pure sickness and I see it here each day. Every day.

Disagreement over interpretation is NOT synonymous with jealousy. When you disagree with others, you are equally guilty of the "immature" behaviour you decry.
Please stop using logic... you know how everyone hates that.

To date, and I'm in my fifties, I have never had a discussion with anyone who has claimed to have been Transformed outside of their own willpower. I've never spoken to anyone who has told me that their life is under the control of the Holy Spirit.
but dude.. i think we have had conversations??

Only discord on this site usually occurs in the BDF. Of course, there are some that would consider this discord to be healthy dialog in the discussion of the topic at hand and the current flow of the conversation.
well, to be fair, i don't visit the news forum much.
so there's not much discord there

jejejeje

Even though I'm married I enjoy the Singles Forum the most. BDF is a bit of a hostile environment but some of the threads are high entertainment venues.
i don't pick favorites. but i will say i am rarely disappointed when some thread over there catches my eye
i really think we should stop mentioning it tho, lest BDF-ites migrate and spoil the joy, hehe

**ahem** by 'singles forum' @tourist possibly means "conspiracy forum"

Should I sell my cloak and buy a sword, or give the money to the poor...?
Who, what, where, why, when... "Circumstances" also play a big part in "interpretation". However, many circumstantial details are lost to history...

the poor you will always have with you..

buy the truth, and do not sell it -- gold refined in the fire ;)

How admirable! Folks, this is what maturity looks like.

You know, I don't expect people to be perfect. But what I do expect is for people to be perfectly responsible. What more can we ask than that? What you just wrote is amazing.

And . . . the only reasons why I know that what I wrote is true, is that I was guilty of this for many decades in my life. I learned the hard way that just because I was weak, insecure, and lacked confidence, this did not give me the right to berate and belittle others. When I began to learn that my behavior was the result of my insecurities, that's when I began to change. I also learned that instead of staying in relationships that render me to say harsh things, it is best to simply end the relationship until I can get myself figured out.

As for you, I don't have any recollection of the specifics behind my calling you out. For some reason, the Lord has given me a tremendous "forgetter" when it comes to these things. With only a name and avatar, it isn't easy for me to remember specific members in such a context. I've been here for nearly a year and to date, there's only a handful of "people" that have been so horrible that I am able to have any real negative or wary feeling about them. You're not one of them. And so, my guess is that you may have found me to challenge you on something one day, but then the next, act as though nothing ever happened. Now you know why. :p

Anyone is able to come to me for resolution, but I am no fool. I certain that I can tell when a person's heart is True and genuine . . . I absolutely sense that in you. Again, much respect.

Awwww! What I should have said is that I've never had a face-to-face conversation with anyone who has claimed a Transformation. I've never had a face-to-face conversation with anyone who believes in Circumcision of the Heart as the Core doctrine of the entire Bible.

What's sad about this is the fact that I've spent so many decades within the walls of actual churches. We simply do not discuss these kinds of things at church, meetings, etc. As soon as I am beyond this massive studying project, I'll be finding a new church to establish roots. I think that I've figured out how to enter into one of our modern-day churches and begin to infiltrate it without making folks angry at me . . . and getting kicked out. It means keeping my mouth shut for a very long time . . . until Trust relationships develop. :D

No, they're here. I've got one that chose to be placed on my Ignore list . . . still giving her little Red X's so as to make her public display of being offended. Even on the Ignore list . . . these troubled people are still able to make spectacles of themselves.

Oh, good grief! I keep getting those Red Xs too lol...
Must be a side effect of one's self esteem relying entirely upon online reputation and presence... It has always seemed strange to me how some can shrink their entire world down to the size of a phone.

Flipping this way and that makes a person double minded and unstable
In the middle, one finds balance. BTW, did I ever tell you that in the real world, I go by my middle name, "Ron?" How ironic, eh? Lol
