If God were to come to you and give you that challenge, are you that sure that you are right? If the answer is no.. then maybe you could at least listen to someone else's point of view.
They will never understand this. Every viewpoint could be backed by scripture. EVERYONE! Not just the varying differences in christianity, but even from those who do not have a high emphasis on the bible! An athiest can find just as many verses that contradict themselves as a believer can to support them!

Dude im not sure why you act so immature...i may be wrong..it may be a strange variety
of sarcasm which i would respect if thats what it was. But my gut tells me you need to study the bible and learn sound doctrine and then you wont be such a fussyfella showing your many buttons.

Sounds like the beginnings of Postmodernism.

My point is.. that there a many doctrine issues that have nothing to do with salvation... a woman cant wear make up... a man cant have long hair. some churches dont have music and instruments...when we stand before God... somehow I dont think He is gonna say ''You wore makeup....you played the wong music in church.. you didnt dres right in church... depart from me!!!!!''

And most of us aren't talking about such lightweight issues. We were addressing Joyce Meyer and her preaching of ANOTHER GOSPEL, which IS salvific. It came from her own mouth, and then you got all butt-hurt because we took a stand against her teaching that Jesus was tormented in hell by Satan, and had given up His being the Son of God and was only a man.

If you don't see the SPECIFIC cause for concern, and must compare it to offering plates and hairstyles; you gots problems.

well i think that all we can exclaim or mention is what we believe in, and i personally believe that God will Never Go Back On his Word! -for example- If the bible states a certain act to be sin well it is just as it is stated "nothing more nothing less" but at the end of the day there is only One Judge who in his love, Grace and righteousness will have the LAST Say:)!

And thats why i Love him soooooo much! because no matter how dirty my exterior may be or how many mistakes i make he searches my heart and declares me clean, loved, victorious and most of all "His Child":)

You know those people who are all like ''The Bible says this and this about this and if you dont agree with this, you are wrong and going to hell. To those people, here's a hypothetical scene...

God comes to you one day and says ''Get out your Bible. We're gonna go thru it and discuss is verse by verse. If I find you the be in error on even one verse, I kill you and you go to hell''

You gonna take that challenge? If the answer is no... and I'm sure it is.. then drop the self righteous. I'M RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG ACT

Well, it depends what verse they don't believe. If they do not believe in salvation correctly they are not saved. If they kill someone because they do not know the Bible. They are not saved. If they are homosexual and have a problem with just that one verse, they are not saved. I could probably name a hundred verses that could mean someone is not saved if they do not believe it.

Everyone is not right; so deal with it. The Bible is right! If someone has verses that say you are wrong, then you are wrong. I do not honestly believe anyone is going to start telling everyone they are right.

Wow, that was relevant..
no, this is relevant.
church hasta be HIP doncha know?

Many pastors have used examples from pop culture as sermon illustrations, but Pastor Troy Gramling is taking it to an all-new level with a Wizard of Oz-themed series of sermons, which he will present throughout the month of September at Potential Church in Florida.

(Photo: Potential Church)

A promotional poster for the 'W' sermon series at Potential Church in Florida, which has The Wizard of Oz as its theme.

“W,” as the series is being called, is a sort of simplified, hybrid title for fans of both the “Wizard of Oz” and “Wicked,” and the series will feature everything from the serious to the silly.

On one hand, Gramling will be tackling many important spiritual, emotional and relationship issues, examining characters in both the famous film and play as the starting point for helping his congregation to really examine themselves. On the other hand, worship services will include some fun and theatrics, including a musical performance of Kanye West's hit-single “Heartless” by the Tin Man.

I think you should just delete this whole thread, cuz it really does not make sense...especially coming from someone that doesn't even contribute, according to Abiding (I had to agree with you on that). Maybe you should rethink what it is that you were TRYING to say and start a new thread.

or we could just all get together and pray and read the Bible for a while. that would be a nice change.....

you know discussing God's words instead of our opinions and commentary and praying for God to reveal His truth to us all. yeah, that would be nice....

Don't you think that we would be redeemiing the time by going out and preaching the right gospel and seeing lost souls coming to Christ? If there are those that preach it the wrong why or as you have delared ANOTHER GOSPEL, why be occupied with them, go do the right thing, lay your life down and obey God and preach Christ. Staying home and sipping lattes isn't going to win the lost and neither is filling my head full of knowledge that does nothing to win Christ or build others up in the faith.

You're presuming, of course, that I don't spend the majority of my time doing exactly that; along with running multiple businesses that fund many local community ministry efforts. (And a 12-year $48M project that will make provision for over 200,000 people after there is no rapture. But you won't want to hear much about that.)

And I don't like lattes, sipping or otherwise. :)

Hi, Red! Have a blessed week!
