or we could just all get together and pray and read the Bible for a while. that would be a nice change.....

you know discussing God's words instead of our opinions and commentary and praying for God to reveal His truth to us all. yeah, that would be nice....

ill come just say when and where

You're presuming, of course, that I don't spend the majority of my time doing exactly that; along with running multiple businesses that fund many local community ministry efforts. (And a 12-year $48M project that will make provision for over 200,000 people after there is no rapture. But you won't want to hear much about that.)

And I don't like lattes, sipping or otherwise. :)

Hi, Red! Have a blessed week!
I don't have to presume, you live your life before the eyes of God not me and have to answer to Him as we all will, hopefully with joy and not grief. I'm sure that others will profit from your efforts, perhaps before or after Christ comes for His church or the whole endeavor could collapse or be taken from you. Are you prepared for that? Why take preparation or thought for these things, won't each day have it own evil and trouble?

Have you ever witnessed or been a part of a ministry that God raised up and was given land and property in this life to fulfill a vision of training up disciples and missionaries and sending them into all the world to preach the gospel and have it all purged and taken away so that you have to move on and set up shop elsewhere so that God could bear more fruit and keep you from settling on your lees?

BTW - I'm not too fond of lattes either but you have some friends on this site that are and they acclimate toward those little reformed churches that only occupy a space but have no fire in their belly, but do believe in the three persons of the Trinity. At least they got that right.

Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Well... Thanx for the admonition. None of anything is mine to be taken from me; it's all His to do as He sees fit. I'm just a temporary steward. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

I'm not fully reformed, and I'm a Continuationist. In our congregation, we're blessed every service to have one or more baptisms (scripturally, in the name of Jesus). I thank God for it all, since it's His harvest. I'm just a worker in the field.

I pray orthodox Godhead doctrine leads you to a greater personal understanding of the nature of God. It left me hopelessly lost without vital salvific faith. So I'm thankful for a deeper understanding of God's nature and constitution.

I thank and praise God for your zeal and faithfulness. Press on as you are led.

Don't you think that we would be redeemiing the time by going out and preaching the right gospel and seeing lost souls coming to Christ? If there are those that preach it the wrong why or as you have delared ANOTHER GOSPEL, why be occupied with them, go do the right thing, lay your life down and obey God and preach Christ. Staying home and sipping lattes isn't going to win the lost and neither is filling my head full of knowledge that does nothing to win Christ or build others up in the faith.

The part i think you should rethink is how legalistic is is to dog people into examining their
works. Implying everything is less than winning souls. That doesnt make for anything but a headtrip.

Thing is its like telling people to fill the bucket and never be concerned about the holes in the bottom
of the bucket. Your not balanced. From what is contained in the new testament as far as evangelism
compared to discipling, warning, training, marking false teachers etc.

A health worker would get nowhere telling you what to do and leave out what not to do.
A mechanic tells you to pour out tainted fluids and prevention tips way more than applying new parts.
In fact if we were to do the opposite of what you say and only equip people of the false teachers
they would both learn significantly more precious truths and see their application
and false teachers would cease to have an audience.

Dude im not sure why you act so immature

Call me immature if you want to, but you know perfectly well what I am talking about.. all those petty little issues that have nothing to do with salvation...a woman cant wear makeup, a woman can't wear pants, some churches dont use music or instruments... do you let the kids do communion.......

Well actually i didnt know what you were talking about but just what ive seen in other threads. And then it
was merely emotional opinion without scripture.

So if this is what you were talking about...well ive never heard any of this being an issue. Maybe your
living in a immature community and your the only sane guy. Ya. lets go with that, Ok?

Honestly i cant apologise for this ive just been in churches that hadnt any issues like that.
Im sure tho that it exists. The worst thing i can remember happening was running low on steaks
on mens night.

With this being the conviction of your own heart, I suggest that you begin to take serious and purge out the old leaven in your own life before the rest of your lump becomes tainted with leaven. That's one way we can avoid being legalistic and living in self deception.

Missed you guys too Zone :) Been a bit of a busy guy the last few weeks. Next week looks like more of the same. The good news is that we're probably moving (God willing) in a month (Nov.4th if all goes according to plan). Found a cute place with a nice SMALL yard that needs very little .... if any work at all. That's what I'm talkin' about !! .....lol I was starting to feel guilty watching the missus shovel this 120 foot driveway :D

No list. I'm trying to think of all the fun things to do with a deep earth drilling machine.

Do you shoot the bovine with the crossbow or kill them with a wooden match like the bears?

no, see i got it worked.
i get the bear to kill the steer (or vice versa)
then i use my match on the victor (wooden end).
then you got still got a good match for fire for the BBQ.

and a good bearskin for cold nights.

easy peasy.

gotta save the cross-bow for serious stuff.
am i in?
