It is the truth. When we repent, things no longer trouble us. Our faith is unchallenged.

Read the story about Jesus before He was captured. He was most definitely troubled.
He even asked God why He had left Him before dying.

you're gonna need a lot more evidence for this than what you have presented here. where does it say that our lives will be worry free when we repent? where does it say that all we need to do is "behave" and life becomes like heaven? if this claim is true, there will be a lot more than one saying to back it up.

I sort of agree with you on one point - life is far more bearable with Christ than without... but I have seen no evidence whatsoever of this life on this planet being the heaven we were promised.

For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you this day

It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you

Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes--who are they, and where did they come from?" I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them

The only to know for sure is to repent of you sins. Have you done that?

that doesn't answer the questions that I have posed at all. the only thing you have done here is declare that it is my fault that your explanation doesn't make sense. If there is evidence of this claim being true, then it will be clearly written in the Bible. And the only things I have found in there are exactly contrary to what you have declared here to be the truth.

Until you repent of your sin, you can't know what effect repentance has on your life.

so in essence, you are saying that the forgiveness of my sins was on a lesser magnitude than that of yours?

If we don’t sin, trouble doesn’t enter our lives. That is heaven.
No that is having the peace of God in your life.

Heaven is a PLACE not a Feeling.

Trouble still enters the lives of believers but God's joy never leaves. that is not HEAVEN but having the HOLY SPIRIT as your comforter and guide.

Jesus promises troubles and suffering and persecution for HIs name sake.

Paul boasts of his many beatings and mistreatment for the sake of spreading the Gospel.

he was beat and left for dead several times. many of the disciples were killed, imprisoned, mistreated horribly.

Trouble still enters, the only difference is that joy never leaves the heart of one in the care of the Holy Spirit.

that is not heaven. that is being BORN again.

creation will be born again and our bodies will be born again upon resurrection and the establishment of the NEW Earth and NEW Heaven.

Earth is a PLACE and Heaven is a PLACE. neither are just "feelings"

That man looks out and see what he think he see and say's this can't be heaven, heaven is still to come. But God's eyes look out and sees heaven and it is good because it is of His Son's action that what we see is. So who's eye sight are we to believe man's or God's? As long as one see's with the eyes of man he will see nothing. But when one's sight is change to the eyes that God see by behold old things have past away and all things become new.

I’m saying that we all have sinned and need forgiveness, but we all need to stop sinning.

The peace of God is heaven. What disturbs that peace is sin. Therefore, don’t sin. Very simple. Not easy, perhaps, but simple, and worth striving for.

Res, who gave you this idea? Go back and look at the scripture I posted please. The bible makes it clear haven is NOT here on earth. it speaks of and, or, here , there.

Why would there be a resurrection if there is no haven? wha do you think happens after we die?

btw_ Are you saying every person should lean on their own understanding of scrupture? (Look at what that means in theese forums ;) )

How about what the bible say's and not what man teaches? You can start with James 1;17 of course why would you believe that cause God must be nuts and man must be right. Why take God at His word?

The Lord led me to repent of sin I was committing. When I obeyed, my problems disappeared.

If we behave ourselves, we have heaven now.
1. We can't behave ourselves. that would mean we would be sinless, this is impossible.
2. We are in the 1st heaven, we were there from birth. This is nothing like the final heaven, a place we look forward to.
3. We can participate in the "kingdom" as we have the HS, but this is still nothing like heaven.

If a person refuses to repent, how can he know?

He can't, he will not taste the kingdom offered here on earth, or the heavenly glory we will have after this earth.

This is heaven:

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matt 4:17 RSV

Heaven is repentance. When you repent, the peace of the Lord descends upon you. Until you repent, you have no lasting peace.

The Bible is the beginning, not the end. You don’t stop learning after you read the Bible. The Bible is the BEGINNING of learning. You need to develop a personal relationship with the Lord and learn all that he wants you to know.
