I certainly don't, because it ain't there, it is simply a twisting and perversion of Scripture!

Have a look at 2Cor 8v9, Acts 3v6, 20v32,33 to correct your wrong thinking!

Yahweh Shalom
Further to the above:

God promises to meet our needs, NOT our greeds! Phil 4v19

So with all these school of thought about divine wealth being evil, can someone explain what the bible meant when it says "I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth"--3 John 2. Then again, the Apostle Paul tells us that Christ though he was rich, became poor for our sakes, that through his poverty we might become rich. Can get some explanations folks?

Emekrus,

I read Willie's response. (Brace yourself. Most people here have been taught and conditioned to automatically react very negatively in vehement opposition to certain words, terms, and concepts. You have already violated those "sacred" boundaries by daring to broach a subject most have been taught to believe is from Satan, and you used several of the "forbidden" words in doing so..
Just a friendly warning to "hang on".... they just haven't all found you yet. LOL.)

Changed how I thought of responding to your post.

I will reread your comments again. In the mean time, the post seems to suggest that obeying God guarantees a person material wealth. Can you please clarify. Thank you.
Ever read the Psalms that says "Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord.... wealth and riches shall be in his house, his righteousness endureth forever.... I'll give Chapters and verses later because I'm in a hurry at the moment.

You know, I think if I'll miss the kingdom of God because of his financial blessings then it stands to reason that the other saints in the scripture who enjoyed humongous wealth would have also missed it. You know, saints like Abraham ( the Father of Faith), David (the man after God's own heart), Job (the perfect and upright man). All these folks walked perfectly with God, in spite o their supernatural material providence. Of course, these folks apparently are in paradise already.

But anyway, on the other hand, poverty can still permit anyone who cares to toe its path to still make it to the kingdom of God. Hence, its a matter of choice.
