Have you noticed the apocalyptic style and design of the book ?
Sure. It's talking about the time of Roman rule. Sounds 1st century. Wasn't aware there were nuclear weapons at that time.

“This is my first report of nuclear weapons in the Bible so bear with me.”

lol did you ever do the nuclear fallout drills in school? I was sure any day it was gonna happen for my formative years 😂
Did you hide under the desk. Everyone knows radiation hovers 6 feet above the ground. Perhaps this is the same thinking behind why masks were required going into the restaurant, but once you were seated you could take them off during covid.

Shilohsfoal,

There is nothing in these verses that indicates a detonation of a nuclear bomb in Jerusalem. A nuclear bomb would kill the entire population of Jerusalem, not 7,000.

First, the two witnesses ascend up to heaven in a cloud - just like Jesus did in Acts 1.

Then afterward, that same hour, a great earthquake will take place and a tenth of the city's structures will fall. Do really think a nuclear bomb set off in Jerusalem would only affect a tenth of the city's structures ?

11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

No I mean just the book of Daniel all together the apocalyptic Hebrew style it’s written in ?

Chapter 2 neb. Has a dream Daniel explains what it means

This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all.

Thou art this head of gold.

And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee,

and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise…..

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever….
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭2:36-45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

weve learned a general story of four kingdoms the fourth being strong and destructive and then that god would set up a kingdom that would eventually overcome them all and destroy and stand forever

Do you see how the following visions and dreams in the book of Daniel are adding to the general subject matter we’ve heard there ? How all the book is connected and adds more details to that first subject matter in the end daniels seeing details of the general dream bout the four kingdoms later we learn more about those four kingdoms

“And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:3-8, 13-14, 17-22‬ ‭

ado you see the generality in chapter two and then more details of the same subject matter In seven how in seven you see also the kingdom set up and victorious in the end after these four kingdoms rise and fall ?

a much of the book is doing this it’s slowly adding new details by the successive visions by the end the little horn is being described as this fierce king who would do much damage to the holy people but the everlasting kingdom would in the end overcome them all ect

I’m only asking this because it’s a perfect example of the nature of the Old Testament Hebrew prophecy which has that same design as where you layer things on top of the next and find new details each time you do or as the apocalyptic design promotes it is slowly uncovered simply by hearing it and then hearing the next layer

I was trying to explain what I meant the other day when I said apocalyptic style and design . If you. Price a lot of people think each vision is it’s own thing but that’s not really the design of scripture is my point I was wondering if you had noticed this design in the book of Daniel how it’s really about one subject matter but each time we learn more through the explainations given to Daniel of what they meant

sorry brother lol 😂

Right. And in Revelation, it says, "[when they behold] the beast that was, AND IS NOT [at the time written], and YET SHALL BE [future tense]" (17:8).

Many folks mistakenly believe [something to the effect of] that Satan will "bodily-resurrect" an individual man, from his "mortal wound [which 'was healed']" Rev13:12, but these verses (vv.3,12) are not referring to the "individual man" aspect (of the "beast").

My question to you (your viewpoint) is, WHAT (or who?) is the "AND IS NOT [at the time written--when Rev was written]" ?

Revelation 11

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven

Revelation 14
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Regarding Revelation 11:13 and the two witnesses…let’s start with 11:

Revelation 11-13: And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

It’s all going to happen within an hour after the two witnesses ascend to heaven. The earthquake will split the mount of Olives in two and Jesus will return. The 7,000 that are slain are Satan’s bunch of fallen angels. God will destroy them. The remnant is God’s election/saints, and they will be praising the King of kings and Lord of lords! IMG_5750.gif

The nuclear fall out drills would include going underground in a land with a million bomb shelters as Israel.

This is no drill though.

Revelation 6

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Awesome. But you didn't answer anything. 45 days starting when? Millions dead, from what passage? Nuclear arms, what passage?
Starting when the man of sins armed forces place the abomination that causes desolation in Jerusalem.

The abomination that causes desolation is the object that causes the heavens to depart from the earth like a scroll being rolled together and causes the earth to quake as seen in the video.
John did a great job describing what he saw, don't you think?

desolation could mean so many things and abomination.

I find it an abomination to say the lord has not returned which then leads to desolation

Or feeling desolate

Let's take Egypt for example. There are about 100 million people in Egypt now but scripture shows that it will be uninhabited for 40 years. It will lay desolate.

Egypt being one of many nations that attack the north and attacks the king of the norths armed forces in Israel. The king of the north turns his rage upon Egypt and no one will live in Egypt for 40 years. No humans or animals.

Daniel 11:42.
He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape.

Ezekiel 29

10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
13 Yet thus saith the Lord God; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.

This is describing the plague that's overtakes Egypt at the time of the end.

Zech 14

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Scripture describes in great detail what takes place in Egypt at that time. And if you ever wondered why Egypt does not accompany Gog,Ethiopia and Lybia when they come against the land of Israel after the millinium,Ezekiel 29:15 is your answer.

The fulfillment of the abomination of desolation takes place when armies surrounded Jerusalem...Luke 21:20. The heavens rolling up is decreation language that represents judgment.
And yes, John was spot on.

The heavens departing as a scroll being rolled together is a description of what is taking place in the sky.Now look closely at the video as that cloud departs from the earth with the inward circular motion as a scroll is rolled together toward the center.

Yes this is the same fearful sights in the heavens Jesus talks about in Luke 21 .

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Revelation 16
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

selah, Jesus, in Zechariah 14, does not stand on the mount of Olives, splitting in half, until all the nations of the world have their armies come up against Jerusalem.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Jesus will at that time be coming from heaven with His saints - so there would be no reason for the two witnesses to be taken up in a cloud to heaven, as Jesus will be standing directly across from the temple mount at that time.

In Revelation 11:13, the remnant not killed by the earthquake, is give glory to God because they were frightened, - not because they were saints. Prior to the two witnesses coming back to life, the remnant will have been celebrating their dearths.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

It's all the same events. That's why all the language is the same in all the applicable passages. The language of decreation is not literal, but figurative; and it speaks to impending judgment.

And if you ever wondered why Egypt does not accompany Gog,Ethiopia and Lybia when they come against the land of Israel after the millinium,Ezekiel 29:15 is your answer.
sir the Jewish perspective of gog and magog is it may not need to happen. Or might not happen

But we as civilization could make it happen

Do you even know gog and magog is not speaking of two separate people 🤔
