But your saying Trump would not show strength.Your the one saying you don't believe he would use nukes which is strength. If you don't believe he would use nukes after being attacked nor do you believe he would prevent anyone from getting Israel's nukes, then he would not be a very strong president would he?
The king of the north who is attacked in Daniel 11,doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would be a pushover nor does Trump appear to be a pushover.
That's not what I'm saying at all. Trump deals with authoritarian regimes with strength. They already know he will use force. He did so when he wiped out Isis. But he uses economic strength first. Iran was broke when Trump was in office. Kim was way less blustery. Russia was in economic straits because American energy was fueling Europe. China was mostly silent because Trump held tariffs over their heads.
There are many forms of strength. Military strength should be a last resort, but it should be apparent that it will be used if necessary.
Trump is much more adept at negotiations than people give him credit for.

Do you think it's possible that you could have seen modern events and not had known they were prophecy?
Anything is possible. I don't have all the answers. But I believe most prophecy has been fulfilled because it concerns Christ and the nation Israel.

They must not go as planned.

The prophecy in Daniel 11 seems to be more about a northern kingdom that invades the middle east time and time and time again.
Have you seen a northern kingdom invade the middle east at least two times?

Totally agree peace through strength is a real policy that is effective . Right now our policy is to shout with a microphone we will not do anything to escalate or fight you we don’t want to fight at all cost “

this is a good personal policy in life according to scripture ( similar turn the other cheek ) , but it’s not a good policy for a nation it is what precedes a nations fall to others who want the power . It signals weakness continually and invites agrression against our people worldwide

Starting when the man of sins armed forces place the abomination that causes desolation in Jerusalem.

The abomination that causes desolation is the object that causes the heavens to depart from the earth like a scroll being rolled together and causes the earth to quake as seen in the video.
John did a great job describing what he saw, don't you think?
Luke 21:20-22
But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are inside the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city; because these are days of punishment, so that all things which have been written will be fulfilled.

I see the terrible desolation of the temple and Jerusalem, that happened in AD 70.

Whether there is a second desolation of another temple in the future, seems unlikely.

I knew that's what you were saying. I just found it more entertaining this way.

sir the Jewish perspective of gog and magog is it may not need to happen. Or might not happen
You are correct...regarding the Jewish p.o.v.

The Jews (Judaism) believe that negative prophecies can be avoided by repentance (teshuvah).

I have over 10,000 posts at the Jewish site - "Messiah Truth discussion forum". I have been posting there and discussing what the Jews believe, since 2004. My screen name there btw is Douggg. As a Christian, we aren't allowed to proselytize by their site rules (just saying Jesus is the messiah is consider proselytizing), so it is an unfriendly site for Christian point of view discussion.

have I missed something, do you believe the prophecy of Daniel has passed, or do you question the belief it should not necessarily equate to end time prophecy

The Old Testament deals with israel the new deals with all the world . And begins with the events in Jerusalem concerning our lord Jesus Christ found in the everlasting gospel .

Daniel is foretelling whatbhaopened from 600 bc until around 70-120 ad To include the last curse of the breaking of the law the scattering of the people into all nations fulfilled in tbe jewish dispersia after rome destroyed Jerusalem in 70ad

the Old Testament has its own prophecy and extends toe time of Christs generation

Daniel was foretelling this

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:20-22‬ ‭

All that was written when Jesus said that was the Old Testament the new hadn’t yet been written

I've given it the thumbs up, only because there may be credibility To it,

Of course we could be wrong, but how do you feel about that
