God can raise up whoever He wants, it is His choice not yours or mine. We may not like it and try to discredit them because of their past or present.
I totally agree with this statement God can use who ever he wants despite there past cus we all have a past we have all sinned at one time or anther we are human but that doesnt mean God cant still use someone who has comitted great sins in there past or that God can't call them to be a pastor God can call and use anyone he wants Hes God and you dont have to be a perfect person to be a pastor someone who has never sinned in there whole life cus thats impossible No one is perfect but God and sometimes thats the very people God uses to get through to people people who have been there oh dont think i'm saying what todd Bentley did was right cus im not at all im just saying that God can Use who ever he pleases and who are we to put limitations on God and say he can't use this person cus this person did this cus God is Bigger than that ok thats all i have to say for now
If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Titus 1:6-9 (KJV)
This
is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
A bishop then must be blameless,
the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober,
of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
1 Tim 3:1-7 (KJV)
Your opinion disagrees with scripture. God has set an order into motion by His word, which says a bishop must be blameless, and a guy with a child molestation charge on his record is not blameless so therefore is not qualified for the office. Stick to the Scriptures, keeps one from being led astray by guys like this.
