I tended to focus on the worst versus in the Bible, Parable of the Sower, Hebrews 10:26, etc. I also just started reading The Pilgrims Progress, and the man in the cage stood out to me.
Precious friend, I will pray for you. Please stay away from man-made writings which are NOT Inspired By God, But, focus On God's LOVE letters # for us, Today, Under GRACE. (Romans - Philemon #):

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And The PEACE
of God
, Which passeth all understanding, Shall KEEP your hearts and minds
through CHRIST JESUS."

{INSTEAD of the WORST verses of The BIBLE}:

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be
any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and
received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and The God Of PEACE shall be with you."
(Philippians 4:6-9) Great EXAMPLE = Ephesians Chapter 1! {what THINK ye?}

Note: MORE Saturation With Scriptures = a LOT LESS sin! Amen?:

(2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 16:25; Ephesians 1:3-9; Ephesians 3:9 =
Grace/Mystery fellowship {Romans – Philemon}, For ALL, today?)

Please Be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, and Edified!
God’s Simple Will!

If a "man-made writing" is backed up by the word of God, you can be certain that the word of the Lord will not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11).

To add, my life for those 4 months has been work and bible. It's all I did. I was advised to go on walks, which I very rarely did. I have also lost a great deal of sleep, and have tried Advil PM and anther pill, but they didn't help much. I don't have near the zeal for God I did. My mind is changing a bit as well.[/QUOTE[/ I don't think there can be any argument about the meaning of Hebrews 10:26 unless we add to scripture by saying we know it only applies in certain cases or to certain people. We are told we must repent, that means that we do not want to sin. This verse says the same thing in different words.
