What does this mean to you.
John 8:11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
He didn't say you may keep sinning, but just always pray for forgiveness each time.
We will always sin whether in thought or deed this side if heaven..if we would be perfect..we would be God..

Amen....BLOOD covers the sin, GRACE abounds ahead of it and deals with sin as we sin....

Where sin abounds, Grace abounds the more......
Grace is something God gives after repentance and forgiveness...grace is undeserved..a gift

Ck out my example: I will try to give you an example: If I was cheating on my husband every once in a while, and I ask for forgiveness each time. I can keep from doing that. That is intentional sin. But if I was at a store and I glanced over at a man and thought to myself wow he is gorgeous, but kept on walking. That one was in my mind. Still not good, but this one will not send me to hell if I died today. But the other one would because it's something that I choose to do, and know very well that it is wrong.

Once we KNOW what is wrong via Gods standards..yes..were are held ACCOUNTABLE for our sins but if we are truly saved..our salvation is intact ...example..im very proud..pride is a sin..something i always have to be aware of..but if i acted in a prideful wat and died..i wouldnt go to hell...because my salvation amd eternity is NOT BASED ON WORKS..like i have to WORK not to be prideful or WORK not to lust after a man etc..its not RIGHT but God knows we all have a sinful nature and "expects" that from us and that every little sin wont be asked for forgiveness etc..

It's hard to tell if someone is prideful, but vein is easy. Someone else would call my mom prideful, I call her vein. She's always in the mirror. I furnish lots of makeup, jewelry, clothes, shoes purses hair etc....

Grace is a POSITION........

Romans 5 In the GRACE wherein we now STAND
Ephesians IN the GRACE we ARE, having been saved OUT of faith

It CAN be..or...

"And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life and this life is in his Son. He that hath [belief in] the Son hath life; and he that hath not [belief in] the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:11,12) By God's grace, salvation life is free as a gift through faith."

So grace is favor, "unmerited favor." Grace is, therefore, God's unmerited favor - His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The principal manifestation of God's grace has heen in the form of a gift. ... Salvation is not our achievement, but it is a gift from God.

Romans 3:20-24

20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. 21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

I never disagreed with you....just that it is a position that a believer is placed into and yes..totally undeserved...

Speak for yourself.

Sinners are separated from Christ.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; Hebrews 7:26

Sinners are lost, and in need of repentance -

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7

  • likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

A person who has wandered away from Christ, is a sinner who is separated from Christ, and must repent to be reconciled back to Him.

The prodigal son was lost, until he repented and returned to the father and was reconciled back to him.

James says it this way -

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Found = Reconciled to God: Justified - Declared to be right with God.

Lost = Seperated from God. Unjust. Unrighteous. A Sinner in need of repentance.

Lost means no longer in possession of the former owner.

  • No longer in the possession of the former owner.

Lost - Greek - Strong's # 622 - apollymi

  1. to destroy
    1. to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin

    2. render useless

    3. to kill

    4. to declare that one must be put to death

    5. metaph. to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell

    6. to perish, to be lost, ruined, destroyed
  2. to destroy
    1. to lose

So you don't sin? Your not a sinner?

Man can tie God's hands. If man dies in his sin, God cannot except him. Unclean cannot unite with clean. It's not that he will not except them, but he cannot. It's impossible for him too.
Now saint this is where I lose you. No one has to die in there sin in fact that's not how the story ends. It is the rejection of God's gift Jesus that send those to outer darkness.
Jesus has defeated sin the Vail is torn. Last but not least he shall defeat death. The ransom has been ment and paid in full.

Unintentional sin you can't get rid of, things will keep popping into your head. Depending on what the sin is. You have to find a solution. Example: I have a male friend that had a problem with watching porn. His solution was to find a woman and get married. He did. Problem solved.
p...,
He still had sin on his record that he had to get .......rid of thru repentance.

The point is...regardless if it is unintentional or unintentional...we must repent to clean our soul.
Now...about..intentional....some scripture strongly suggest one may have to pay a penalty for some offences. But, they will be forgiven. It would appear /suggested...depending on what they were. I think against another person may be the determining factor, that I am still studying.

But brother,

Does it not also scare you to loose this your awesome, privileged position through sin like Judas Iscariot? You know, he was supposed to be one of those sitting with Christ in his kingdom judging the twelve tribes of Israel. But he lost it...

His bishopric was taken by another. And of course, if we do not cautiously walk with the Lord we could be cut off as well...

Just as Paul instructs. If we stand by faith, we should fear, lest we are also cut off.
Judas did not loose his privileged position because of sin, ultimately Judas lacked saving faith in Christ Jesus as Saviour, Son of God and Redeemer and he failed to move from a disciple to a saved born again believer.

If someone who says they are saved but is committing adultery, every weekend. Goes home and pray for forgiveness, but goes and does it the next weekend. Do you think that they are serious about their salvation. When they get serious the sin must stop. Other wise everybody will be saved. The drunk on the corner is saved. So I guess he is also under grace. God forbid. The intentional sinning has to stop, they know it's wrong, but say I'm under grace God know we do this, he will forgive us. You may as well be crucifying Jesus all over again.

When you repent, stay repented, don't repent today and tomorrow have to repent again three days later have to repent again. Do you see what I mean repent and don't turn back and return to the dirty deed again. Your putting Jesus back on the cross again and again. God forbid.
