Ok what is wrong with this thread? I too have the same beliefs on Disney, but if we as christians can't come into a christian chat room and try to discuss our beliefs without others belittling us then what hope is left. If you want to know why the world hates christians, then go into some of the posts and read them from beginning to end. I mean we have "christians" and "pastors" take serious topics concerning sin and the Bible and turn them into jokes. There is a time and place for everything.

Then we also have people who take and turn people into a cult just because they use only one Bible. Just because someone actually takes a stand for God on a christian chat site doesn't make them a cult, it makes them using the site for its intended purpose. If you want to watch Disney, that is your business, i don't really care, but I will continue to ban it from my house.

This is a long thread, so I don't know if someone already covered this or not, but The Chronicles of Narnia were written by one of the greatest and most respected Christian writers of the 20th century and are an overt analogy for Christianity. In fact, C.S. Lewis was criticized for making it such a blatant and obvious analogy.

So if a christian writes porn then that makes it ok, I don't think so. If the story goes against the Bible it doesn't matter who wrote it, it is still wrong. Disney can give to all the charities they want or whatever they do to try to make it better, but the fact that they have gay day(in their family park of all places) and they come out with more movies about witchcraft overshadows all of that. If a murderer gave to charities, would you over look the murders? As for your verses, I am always open for more wisdom and instruction, just as long as it doesn't go against the Bible. I think you need to look up the meaning for parable, because that verse is very irrelevent to anything I wrote, I think you just looked up the word fools in your concordance and put any that is in Prov. up, read before you post. If I am wrong please point out to me what exactly is your point to these verses.

These 2 proverbs were posted in responce to your jumping to conclusions that anyone was making fun of sin or mocking the Word of God,Without even knowing my or the other posters stance on the matter,I aswell showed you in my previous post ,what I instead was responding to,which BTW has Nothing to do with Walt Disney or coruption in the business,If you dont like woman preachers ,post it in the "no woman preachers" thread,leave this one to the ",I dont like Mickey Mouse", folx.Thats what I was saying,although sarcastically, but to the point.
