First of all "The Chronicals of Narnia" were written by C.S. Lewis a christian man who writes fantasy. And the "Lion witch and the Wardrobe" gave me a better understanding and impacted me more when it came to the crucification of Christ.
In terms of the world. yes we live in, but dont' have to be of it. But here is what Paul says about all this.....
1 Corinthians 5:9-11 (New American Standard Bible)
I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world.
But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler--not even to eat with such a one.
In terms of the world. yes we live in, but dont' have to be of it. But here is what Paul says about all this.....

Aww you lost a daughter... how absolutely horrible. Welcome to Christian Chat santaslegan, honestly we do show love as well in here, we sometimes get wrapped up in our little debates and forget that there are people out there reading these things who may find them to be petty in light of their reality. Anyway I just wanted to take a moment to welcome you here and hopefully you will find friends on here who will love and support you in Christ as you deal with the ongoing struggle that is accepting the loss of a Child. Your heavenly father loves you and you will find many on here who will love you. I pray you find joy, not violence, in everyday and that the sadness fades. I would like to say that I have been married 24 years,have two grown kids.I took them to Disney,to amusement parks,to the same places homosexuals probably went.They both turned out great,they are law abiding citizens and are God fearing Christians.
We as parents are responsible for raising our kids according to our beliefs.As Christians we teach them Christian values and show them what is right and wrong by what the Bible says.
What concerns me about most about this post is it sounds like gay people and others that don't measure up to her standings would not be welcome in her church.Jesus was sent to save ALL mankind,not the ones already saved.We should ALL welcome these people into our churches and lives so that we can tell them how much God loves them and show them what He says about their lifestyle.
We should all be given a chance.Those who turn their backs on Gods needy will have to answer to Him.

The Disney of today creeps me out. They have taken a stand, usually subtly but not always, on things which would make Walt turn over in his grave. I'm sure Walt was a good businessman, but all that seems to drive Disney today is making money. I live four miles from Disneyland, and the City of Anaheim is practically owned by Disney. I feel uneasy whenever I have to drive around there.
However... this being said, I had the strange experience of having a friend of mine buy me a season pass to Disneyland, which cost him around $300. So I went to Disneyland quite a few times. It is a strange mix of good and bad. So many ways to spend money, all of which goes into Disney's bottomless coffers, but also full of real people with a real need for Jesus. And such is the reality of the world. Always a mix of the good and the bad. If we are to be, as Jesus called us to be, 'in the world but not of it', then we must pray for discernment, protection, and depend of Him, as we make forays into darkness on behalf of the lost.

Altho this is a thread about how wrong and corrupt Mickey mouse is ,Im gunna just start railing on everyone about how wrong they are cuz i dont feel like anyone is listening to me in the other threads that have to do with anything I am saying

There are so many other thing in this world far worse than disney. The company who has given us so many wonderful kid shows that have helped them grow properly. So many fatastic G movies as well. They are not perfect, but neither is one of us. They have made bad choices in cinema this is true. But i wouldn't ban them for being imperfect anymore than id ban a friend for being human. Im sure no one would want that.
