okie dokie...just give it all over to the Lord...

1 Peter 5:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

The situation I gave was a clear stance on being slandered............

Anytime a person is saying false things about another person that is slander Grace777x70 !!!

You said you need to see the context, the context is clear false witnessing on another.

This is why it seems me and you can not get anywhere in our talks because you in no way will admit that something is wrong when it is. We are called to expose these things, as the Light will expose darkness !!!

I have let it go Grace777x70 but they have not, and I have seen you agree with this persons post a couple of times when they have slandered me. <------Just to make you aware

Sigh...Ken...

The Bible tells us to be at peace with all men AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE

If you or anyone here is harassed by someone you can report it as many times as it takes

Please understand that a difference of doctrine is not slander so reporting because of a disagreement means nothing...it has to be proven to be a personal attack...if you attack the person back then you are having an argument

hope that helps...go check out the TOS for further understanding

Im not a mod so perhaps reading the TOS again would clarify

On to other things

I do know a difference in doctrine is not slander, and that is not what I am even talking about !!!

I have read the rules and please stop talking to me as if I am ignorant or uninformed, as I don't not put people on ignore for just simple disagreements in doctrine.

If I did that there would be only 3 to 5 other people on here I would talk to, or better yet would only be talking to myself.

Because even those I agree with and agree with me we still have some areas we don't see eye to eye on !!!

This cop-out excuse of just simple disagreements gets worn out.........

Here are the only reasons I put people on ignore:

1) Blatant continuous false witnessing on me

2) Condemning me

3) Those who believe they can treat others who don't believe as they do like crap

Then I report them if:

1) They continue after being placed on ignore to attack my character

2) They continue to spread lies about me

why cant we all just get along.
That would be nice and great !!!

That is the main reason I joined this site to was to have friendly respectful talks on God's word, but it only took a few months to see that this site at the time was controlled by OSAS wolves.

Anybody that came here and spoke on things from the Word of God that disagree with their stance, then the same 3 to 6 people would show up and start attacking and belittling all who disagreed with them.

That finally got handled but then the next few months were pretty much nothing but debates about the LAW....

I left for a few weeks cause did not want to discuss that topic any longer because all it did was cause strife in the forums.

I came back and started posting a couple months ago to find out that now we have some from the hyper-grace crowd doing what those previously from the OSAS wolves were doing.

I have to admit this hyper-grace crowd is not as bad as they were, and a couple I can even have respectful debates with such as BenFTW.

Even though me and him don't agree with still stay respectful with one another !!!

I would say all "evil" would be un Christian...
I'm no longer sure about that. I just started on the story of Balaam. Balak wanted to have both of them join in to destroy the Israelites even before they crossed over into the Promised Land. Much to my surprise, Balaam needed to pray about it first and hear what God told him to do. (I haven't read the Bible straight through in so long, my mind immediately considers Balaam a bad guy, so that surprised me.) God told him not to join Balak. He didn't.

Seems like a thing a Man of God would do, right?

Then Balak sent "honorable" kings to ask him again. And, again Balaam said he'd have to talk to God.

That still seems like a good idea to me, but it ends up it wasn't. (Talking donkey coming up in this part of Balaam's story, but I haven't gotten that far in my studying yet.)

By all accounts, Balaam seemed like a good guy, but he wasn't. And it ends up he attacks the Israelites later on and causes much havoc.

What's that got to do with Christian evil? I've met a few "men of God" in the Christian church that are Balaam. People in the church are capable of great evil too. They're just sneakier about it and appear godly, (until the evil hits and we're left trying to figure out what just happened), that they are with us walking with God. This story reminded me of people I've known and thought were Christians. It also reminded me of some people on this site.

We're not above evil, simply because we think we're Christians.

Maybe not but it was amusing.
Is that why we're here? To write hurtful comments that some find amusing? Seems to me this forum needs less jokers, and more of Christ's demeanor on them when they come in here.. jmo

Nehemiah 8:10 (NASB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] ...... Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

No...Obviously some are here to compare the Bible Forums to Jerry Springer

Here's a mirror

Unsuscribing from this thread
