When I think about all the wonders my Father through Christ has done in my life. It was from blind faith. It was reading what He said and just believing it. Well He said it.. Hes God...He can't lie. And you know those verses I underlined circled when I was 12+ still pop out.. And it was over time that I see my childish? Faith became more like the world. Man lol when I was young.. nothing was impossible..

I knew I could do anything..there was nothing I could not do. It was not from some man...it was the only ture GOD speaking to His creation created in HIS image “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Satan comes right away with man and tells us what Jesus really meant to say. Like Christ curses that tree.. the same day dies.. and then tell them.. if you had the faith of a mustered seed...you could tell that mtn to get up and move and it would have to obey you.

Think... He didn't say that to any Christian or some Church. He had not died and rose YES PRAISE GOD! Thats what man could do then with FAITH. We read it.. the woman 30 years.. SHE not Christ SHE said (heres your word of faith ...your postive confession) she said.. if I can just touch His clothes I will be healed. Who told her? No one...

And Christ ..who touched me? LOL a every one? No.. I felt the healing virtue come out of me. He saw her.. she said what happened. He said.. YOUR faith.. YOUR FAITH made you whole. So if GOD says all things are possible to that that believe/have faith..

Thats it huh.. right there. Faith what is it.. and do you ever use it? Like your body.. you have to exercise it. So many and its heart braking.. so many wait till something GOD FOR BID happens and then try to have faith.. when it does not work.. well this is what wanted. NOPE.

Why you work your faith.. start small..so if it fails..your faith is not crushed. See its not what I believe.. its what you believe. YOU have to know. You read it.. you pray and you KNOW He always hears you and WILL answer. Just DON'T give Him some time limit. Grow in the small things.. and the greater will follow. Just take whats WRITTEN...act on what is WRITTEN. Don't add or take away. Like "what Jesus was really saying".. huh? just don't think.. just believe what HE said.. not me not any one else.

If you follow some man/woman.. you get ONLY what they personally believe. I ask I listen.. if its written praise GOD.. there is nothing thats impossible if you have the faith..which we all have the measure of faith.

See I Know Hes real.. thats why I can say this.. DON'T BELIEVE ME! Ask Him to show you. If you go to Him already knowing.. He will never go against your will. Jesus is so real.. that sweet sweet Holy Spirit is real. Not ever day I look back.. what I typed.. first thought is.. do I know English? Sad.. always been hard for me. Collage.. just starting he said "we have English 101.. a were going to put you in English 100." there was no class 100 :( lol PRAISE GOD GLORY TO JESUS..but I blessed myself.

What kind of a difference are you speaking about? Saints in the old testament had the mind of Christ. So that cannot be a difference.

Christ working in her told .Christ's Faith comes from hearing God as he works in us to both will and do his good will.

Hearing God is not making good guesses.

But something in us stops our power potential, and I think it is in what we let into our minds. In the ancient world they did not know thoughts were in the brain, they thought they were in the heart, we need to know this as we read scripture.

What is of God has tremendous power for good. We are told to keep our thoughts on that good, and from this God can flow into our world.

Phil 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

I think that when we let in thoughts that aren't noble and pure we put in a blockage of the power that is God. Much of our input comes from this dark side in our books, TV, and movies. They aren't innocent facing facts at all.
Thoughts are in the brain, agreed. But our Lord Jesus Christ flourishes in our hearts where we
by His graces strive and are able to full our potential. Glory to God in the highest, He is master
of heaven and earth.

I do not know why we have so many Christians who believe the entire Bible is written directly to them, the Church of God. There is nothing in the Bible to indicate such thinking, and I would like to add nothing could be further from the truth. It's true the Word of God was written for everyone for all time, and it's for our learning because it contains what everyone should know. That does not mean every part of it is addressed to everyone in this time, because the subject matter was written either to the Jews, to the Gentiles, or to the Church of God (1 Corinthians 10:32).

To rightly understand the Word of God, one must understand what part is written to the Church of God and what part is written for the learning of the Church. Every word from Genesis 1:1, to Revelation 22:21, is written for our learning. However, not all of the words from Genesis 1:1, to Revelation 22:21, are addressed to us.

We must learn to distinguish not only the various people, but also the different time periods God has spoken to if we want to understand the written Word of God. The time God spoke to the children of Israel is not the same time period He has spoken to us. The time He spoke to the prophets in the time of the Old Testament is not the same time period He spoke to His Son Jesus Christ in the time of the gospels.

Peter, doesn't everyone understand that, and doesn't that form a large part of biblical interpretation?
the entire old testament is basically about a relationship between God and his people, crowned by the Song of songs
i think some Christians miss the reforming and changing nature of the relationship in the old testament as well, God never changes but the relationship sure does. So yes, to pull something out say Deuteronomy and try and apply it out of that context is questionable
It totally ties in with Jesus and the relationship we find in God, which also changes even though God does not change?

The bible or gospel is the one source of Christian faith, as it is written so those can believe God. Without it no man could .

God has never been a respecter of corrupted flesh of mankind from any nation of men. . . Men dying sufferings the wage of death, the first death .

The first recorded work of the Spirit of Christ working in the new heart of mankind to both will and do His good pleasure is Abel the first apostle, prophet and recorded martyr the "second born". setting aside the second born a metaphor to be used of Jesus, in parables

Abel is a member of the "bride of Christ" "the church" just as us today.

God puts no difference between a unbelieving Jew or Gentile. He works in both to accomplish his labor of love or work of his faith.

God looks upon the heart. But faithless mankind. Flesh and blood wrestle against flesh and blood the temporal things seen.

Simply no division never was never could be. God is not respecter of the different shades of flesh. He warns us as new creatures not to wrestle against shades of flesh

Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

We are not to rightly divide the church (Bride of Christ) from the church . But the word of God. Dividing his understanding not seen to the same unseen spirutl understanding. Faith the eternal to faith . Not after the temporal fleshly face to fleshly face.

That kind of work is the work of the devil. He would have every nation believe a person must become a Jew. That kind of idea was made to no effect at the reformation.

He fell from that position of deceiving all the nation a person must become a Jew under the letter of the law "death" ..

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, (Abel the first to become a member of the eternal church) and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:3-4

The huge problem with this old testament is that it's mostly only what Christians know. It's mostly what is taught in their churches and what they quote often. These Christians put themselves under the law at the same time they are saying they are not doing that. They seek works and do not believe Christ took care of their sin nature. Thus, the old testament is alive and real to them.

ah i see what you're saying, we're supposed to have Jesus within us, formed within us, but if we feel our nature is corrupt then how can Jesus be within us? Christ's transforming power works within to do this not by relying on ourselves. most of the legalism comes from the church leadership because they're in competition with Christ and think they are essential, without them it would all fall apart!

We are in Christ and the Spirit dwells in us, but we are NOT divine. To have any divinity would be to make us equal with God.

Satan wanted to be like God and that's also the lie that brought about the fall of mankind.
